“It was suggested that I write a review but it's probably a bit early after two walks with Alex. Suffice it to say that we are very happy so far. Judy is very calm, and that works well with Alex because he can be a bit hyper. I also appreciate the detailed feedback of the walk and his various stops. In short, great!”

“Christina walked my high energy dog while I was away on vacation. Always punctual and Murray clearly misses her as he waits by the widow during what was their scheduled times. Will definitely use her again when needed. Thanks Christina!”

“Isabella is the best! She has been a dependable dog walker for our two pups. She has also provided house sitting services for us while we've been away. She is trustworthy, great at communicating, and very respectful. We would highly recommend Isabella to anyone needing help with their pets.”

“I'm so happy with Sal's services. I was out of town for a few days and my husband was working long hours, so we needed someone to come over and walk our dog. He did so right on time both days and even sent me a picture of my dog after the walk. I felt at ease knowing my dog was in good hand. Will definitely rebook in the future!”

“So glad to have found Noella! She takes a very genuine and proactive approach to caring for her clients. Noella and Molly hit it off on our meet and greet and all of her walks so far have gone swimmingly :) Molly has expressed her favourable opinion by working belly rub breaks into her walks with Noella more than half the time so far!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. Cats, dogs, birds etc! I love animals and plan on one day becoming a vet technician. I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them, dogs parks are lots of fun as well! I have been trusted to take care of friends animals as well, and they are always happy with the care their pets receive from me! I am currently in post secondary, however I can still do drop ins and depending on your location & pets needs I can also still do housesitting, and my summer time will be open! I will ensure the pets have safe access to food and water as well as frequent potty breaks. I will make sure they feel safe in their environment and with me whilst they are in my care. I would play with them and be sure they have access to toys they like as well as access to treats for good behaviour.

“Madalynn was great for the 2 dog walks she provided. Very positive experience. She was reliable, friendly, and clearly comfortable with dogs (she has her own). Super patient with our hundreds of requests of how to care for our dog, LOL. Communication was easy/fast and I felt confident that my dog was in good hands. My dog seemed happy and well cared for after each walk. I would definitely use her services again and recommend her to others.”

“We were so happy to have Nathaniel walk Clover! She went on fun adventures every day, getting lots of exercise and we loved the photos that Nathaniel took. We would re-book any time.”

About: I have 4 years of dog daycare and boarding in a commercial setting with an additional 4 years of house/farm sitting for clients with both dogs and cats. I have experience and love dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes as well as experience with cats of all temperaments. I am also comfortable and have experience feeding and handling any other critters you have such as fish or reptiles. At the moment I am giving all of my attention to pet care and house sitting so my schedule is completely open for the spring/summer season. Upon accepting a house sitting, drop-in, or walk request I will schedule a meet & greet where I can meet you and your pets and go over any additional information. This includes safety issues within your home or on the walk route, crating options, allergies, or any other little quirks your pets may have. Pets are part of the family and keeping them safe and happy is my #1 priority.
About: I have been pet & housesitting since the age of 10 & owned many animals of my own including guinea pigs, dogs, cats, & rabbits. I’ve also worked in a dog kennel previously and have experience caring for various breeds and temperaments of dogs, have administered various medications and prepared meals according to specific dietary needs. I’m highly responsible & will care for your pet as I would my own. I’m currently a full time student living near the university. I’m now on summer break, working part time. Feel free to contact me, we can discuss your needs and I may be able to work around certain things in my schedule. I will respect your home and follow your instructions for pet care so that your furry friend feels safe & loved while you’re gone. I’m happy to send photo updates as well and keep in contact as I know how hard it can be to be away from them. I will ensure your home is respected and am comfortable cleaning up after pet messes if needed.
“Tanya was amazing! She was responsive to messages, proactive with communicating, and made me feel really comfortable. I'd love to continue working with her if she will have us ☺️”

“Thanks for the walks on a weekend that was overwhelming with kids activities! Also thank you for accommodating and hanging out with a 3rd dog at home, much appreciated! Karen and Dan are great, patient and walk long and far enough to have 2 very tired and happy pups that are normally bouncing off the walls.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my house since I was very little. I’ve had puppies all the way up to our current senior dogs, one who is losing his vision and hearing. I enjoy walking and will treat your dog as my own. I work from home part time on a very limited/flexible schedule and have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry companion. I look forward to scheduling with you on a regular basis to fit your needs. Our dogs are given the best treatment. We train tricks and routines and remove bad behaviours only through positive reinforcement. One of our current dogs is a rescue dog and we have supported her in this manner.
“We'e been working with Belle for over a month now and she has been the best thing that has happened to our dog Lizzie since we moved to Edmonton. Belle puts in so much love and happiness into her daily walks. We really appreciate the fun details she puts into the Rover report and all the pictures. Belle truly understands dogs and is so patient with Lizzies apprehension with strangers. We love Belle!”

“Kevin is very friendly and professional! He came and met our family and Otto before he started walking him, and has taken him for 4 walks so far. Otto loved getting out during the day. We are so grateful for Kevin’s assistance during this busy season of life.”

About: Let me care for your pets in the comfort of your home. Instead of boarding them at a pet facility. I have had dogs and cats as pets for most my life. I have had small, medium and large dogs. My family has had 2 golden retrievers. Wonderful dogs. I have always had a cat as a pet. I currently have 1 cat at home. I love animals, a lot of experience caring for them. Walking, grooming and feeding. I have never been afraid of animals. It is natural behaviour for me to be warm and affectionate with animals. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and take very good care of them. Please read for house sitting. I prefer to house sit in the areas of Old Strathcona, Garneau or Central Downtown. I appreciate your attention to this request. Please feel free to send a request if you are outside of these areas. I can make some exceptions :) However, I can only take job within the City of Edmonton because I do not drive. I currently work part time. 1 hour a day on weekdays. I am typically gone between 11am and 1pm. Over summer July and August I only work with Rover. I wake up at 7am and off to bed by midnight. I can get up earlier if needed.
Rideau Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
10/10 ❤️ First time using rover and I may have shed a tear watching my pup walk off with someone else on this beautiful day.. LOL. But, with some physical limitations I had to call in reinforcements (which clearly wasn’t easy for me). When they arrived home my dog was smiling so big, playing, being goofy and clearly just SO happy. I felt instantly better! She will now be walking him a few times a week. He now has a new friend and walking buddy. She has lovely energy ! (I also have a big German shepherd which can be a lot for some) so happy we have her to help out now! 🫶🏻

Noella has been walking Molly most weeks for the last couple of months and she's been awesome. I was looking for a new dogwalker because our previous regular needed to move onto bigger and better things. It's clear to see that Noella really cares about her clients, which gives me peace of mind when I have to leave my pupper at home during the day. Noella is very communicative about unexpected events or concerns. I'm so glad we found Noella :)
