About: I’ve grown up around all different kinds of animals, I’ve volunteer at shelters and also worked at a dog kennel. I have two dogs of my own aswell! I currently working part time, and I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets, and give them lots of love and exercise. I will follow your instructions about your pets care/ needs and make sure I do everything that will make sure they feel comfortable and safe.

About: I have trained a beautiful pup to talk using button training. She now knows 35 words and “I love you” is her favourite! I also love photography, so you can expect plenty of photos and videos of your loved one. I love taking cats, dogs, and myself for beautiful River Valley walks as well! I currently work remotely, for myself, and part time, so I will have lots of time to spend with your loved one! You can expect lots of walks and play time in our spacious, fenced backyard. I have a fenced spacious backyard, and currently no pets, so your furbaby will be my sole priority. We have lots of parks and walking trails near our home with plenty green space and trees to sniff and explore!

About: Hi, we are Ayr & Lori, a responsible, trustworthy couple, married since 1999! We do not have our own kids or pets but we have had many years experience caring for other peoples pets (mostly dogs as we have cat allergies). We love to travel, read, garden, fly fish, camp and meet new people and pets. We have been many places, have stayed in many different types of accommodations and have cared for many types and numbers of dogs. We are capable of yard maintenance, errands, and general upkeep of properties. We are used to maintaining a home as we do own 2 properties in our city that we maage as rentla properties. So, we fully understand what a home owner is looking for for upkeep in terms of cleaning, yard maintenance, pet help, taking in mail, and respect for the property itself and neighbors in the area. We both work from home, running online businesses and so we are also available all day for the care and attention your pets deserve. We are very low key, quiet people. We are honest, reliable, and loyal. We make fast friends and look forward to meeting you and helping you with your house and pet sitting needs. Sincerely! When we are in the city we are available any time to help you out! We travel quite a lot and only need some advance notice to be available. We are full time travellers in our RV and so we would prefer to care and love your pets in your/their own home. Additionally, we find that your pets are also far more comfortable with all their familar walking routes, yard and environment.

About: I am new to rover but I always grew up with family dogs and when they passed away I decided I wanted to begin fostering. I fell in love with the process and have been fostering pups on and off for 2 years. I have lots of experience with introducing new dogs into my home and with training older puppies and adult dogs. I also absolutely love taking dogs for walks and runs as well! I miss having dogs around the house and would love to help you care for your pet:) I am home all day during the week because my classes are online. I do work on the weekends but have other household members that can help care for pets we are boarding. I have a big fenced backyard for your pup to hangout in. I also live in a very safe neighbourhood with great green areas for walks. We live in a house and can accommodate the needs of your dog very well!

About: I’ve been around and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from Great Danes to Shih Tzus. I have experience with puppies as young as 6 weeks that need more attention, play time, and potty breaks. But also senior dogs as old as 18 that need more rest and calmer environments. I’m currently working part time but do expect to start my full time summer job soon. Feel free to ask me about my work schedule as my hours and days change weekly. I enjoy very early mornings and evenings. I enjoy morning walks and love being accompanied by others pets. My weekends are usually spent at home and are very slow paced. I like spending time outdoors and occasionally going to the dog park with my friends and their animals. I have a large, fenced off, grass backyard and built in baby gates around my home. My house is mostly carpet which I find more comfortable and safer for the senior dogs that come around.

Caring for your pet is something that requires a lot of trust of me, and I appreciate your skepticism. I wouldn't leave my fur-babies with just anyone, too. Training dogs when I was younger made me much more aware of body language and different personalities. I am always watching for potential stressors or safety issues. I love giving dogs the freedom of an off-leash area, but would have to trust that they will listen to me before being comfortable with any safety risks involved with that.

About: Pets have been a huge part of the family since before I was born. As the oldest cousin, I've been the designated pet/babysitter since I was 10! Most recently, I've been raising a rescue named Pretzel. She's a high energy, two month old puppy! I've been training her to ring a bell when she needs to go outside, and she has picked it up so quick! As an actor, I work part time and attend rehearsals. I can always accomodate specific walk/meal times, and I'm free to spend nights anywhere needed in the city. I always carry treats with me to make sure your little one feels safe. I make it a priority to walk and play with your pets so they always feel great! I'm also reliable when it comes to pets with special needs or who need to take medications.

About: I'm a university student who loves caring for animals. Between part-time jobs, pet care has become my favourite way to stay connected to animals and earn a little extra, and I bring real enthusiasm to every visit. I've been around animals my whole life. I had my dog for 9 years, and my childhood cat lived to an incredible 21 years old... so I'm completely comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and routines, from high-energy puppies to senior animals who need a gentler touch. Beyond my own pets, I have hands-on experience with drop-in visits and care for other people's dogs and cats. I have a returning client whose cat and dog I've looked after multiple times while they travel. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I always keep owners in the loop with photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. As an outdoors person who loves walking and running, I'm especially great with active dogs who need real exercise (not just a quick lap around the block). That said, I'm just as happy with a calm check-in, a cuddle session, and a cozy afternoon for pets who prefer it lowkey. I currently work part-time and keep my Rover calendar updated regularly to reflect my availability. I’m generally available Fridays and Saturdays, and I’m also happy to take bookings on additional days off throughout the week as my schedule allows. I understand the importance of reliability and communication, so I make sure to keep my availability updated week-to-week and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. Whether it’s a scheduled walk, drop-in visit, or last-minute check-in, I aim to provide dependable care and flexibility whenever possible. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and attentive care while keeping pets comfortable in their usual routine and environment. During walks, I pay close attention to safety, leash handling, traffic, and each dog’s individual temperament and energy level. I’m also comfortable with active dogs and happy to provide longer walks or runs when needed. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, food if needed, bathroom breaks, attention, and companionship while keeping the home secure and tidy. I value clear communication and provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: An animal lover through and through, I grew up around animals from a very young age; owning my own dogs as well as spending every summer of my youth at my godmothers’ farm rounding up cows, turkeys, chickens and yes, farm dogs and cats too. Professionally I’ve been employed as a groomer and a doggy daycare attendant so im well versed in handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. With me as your second in care, I can promise your domesticated babies will be well loved and taken care of! After putting my safety before the needs of a corporation that employed me for four years, I’ve found myself with plenty of free time on my hands. If you need someone to keep your pets company, you should reach out! I’ve always made a point to get out and move my body everyday which helps me be prepared to take your pups along for the journey! Overnight house sitting will always come with lots of attention and outdoor time on my part. Dog needs a more relaxing time? Absolutely not a problem. I harbour a natural balance between active and lazy, having no issue with chillin and watching some tv. You can count on me to pay attention and take action if any type of emergency were to arise. Integrity is as important to me as your pets’ safety is to you!
