“Maddy O is fantastic. She came to look after our two boys (an orange cat and a tuxedo cat) while my wife and I went honeymooning. Homegirl is so friendly to talk to and extremely competent. When she walked into our home for the first time to see where things were and what she had to do, my wife felt so relieved because she kept asking all the right questions. I can not stress how reassuring it is when you're going to have someone look after a family member and the person coming in is asking all these intricate questions about their care. Another example of her competence: MaddyO technically had 2 jobs for us. 1) She was coming in to see that our boys recieved some company and their litter/food situation was alright. 2) We have a temporary housemate situation where our housemate's cats do not get along with our boys. There is a whole system of keeping the cats apart and also ensuring that our housemate didn't accidentally prevent our boys from having access to their litter box for long periods of time. MaddyO handled everything like a champ. She bought stability into the lives of our boys like the ideal government we all dream about. She managed situations super well and when I saw the pictures she kept sending of the boys, I was so happy at how comfortable they felt. Talking about animals being comfortable: both of my cats are generally affectionate but one of my boys is pretty vary of strangers. He is very cautious and hisses a bunch and gets very defensive. From what I gathered, MaddyO managed to form a peaceful situation with him where he got his own space but also felt comfortable enough to come explore and be close to her. I hate to bring in the Govt Analogy in again, but Maddy O negotiated peace with him better than most presidents do. Maddy O is a fantastic pet sitter — I will always work with her. However do I think Maddy O should also run for Premier of this Province? Maybe. Maybe she should. Hire this girl already. Seriously, you won't regret it.”
About: I've grown up around cats, and my dad used to raise and breed Persians, but I was a full time cat-mom from 2009 until my babies passed away in 2020 and 2024. My cats definitely ran the show in my house. They got fed before I did, and also dictated when I slept and studied.

We cared for our beloved dog for 11 years through two knee surgeries and several other procedures due to genetic health issues, giving her the best care every step of the way. That experience taught us patience, responsibility, and how to recognize when a dog needs extra attention. We provide a calm, loving home, daily walks, plenty of affection, and will follow your dog's routine exactly as you request. We treat every dog like one of our own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we're best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours during the workday. Every dog gets a morning walk before we leave, an evening walk when we're home, and lots of love and attention afterward. On weekends we're home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions exactly as requested. We treat every dog like a member of our family and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. We also volunteer with an incredible pet rescue in Edmonton dog sitting for fosters while they wait for their forever home and absolutely love everything about it. All dogs we watch will 100% be treated like royalty 💜 We also have a toy box full of new toys where your incredible pet gets to bring home their favorite toy after their stay 🥰

Experienced with giving oral medications and insulin injections. Previous work as a pet and home sitter. I am a student nearing completion of my degree. I will have ample time to give attention and care to your pets throughout the day. I am available for pet sitting or boarding any day of the week. I have a fenced in yard and a nice park and ravine nearby my house where I could take dogs for walks. I do not currently have any pets of my own so yours will be the centre of my attention. In your own home I am happy to water plants and will leave your home very clean and will seek specific instructions on the care of your pet.
