I had visited a few kennels when I was looking at boarding my dog and it was not exactly the kind of environment I was looking for, it was very institutional like, despite understanding why it needed to be that way. I wanted my dog to thrive while outside our home and have new experiences that would not be typical in her everyday and she got that and more. Colton is very committed to the dogs in his care. His dog Emma is lovely and has learned to share her dad which is not always easy. My dog Charlie had the pleasure of playing with multiple dogs during her stay which I did not expect but was happy she was exposed to multiple dogs at a time. I loved she was in a home away from home. I loved that an area in the house was dedicated exclusively to the dogs, sofas, soft toys, chew toys and plenty of water, and supervision and engagement by Colton. His daily video updates were welcomed and appreciated and I shared them with each member of my immediate family so they could see our beloved Charlie was thriving. We were very happy to pick her up. We missed her a lot. She came home happy, healthy and maybe a little tired from the experience 😉 I would highly recommend Colton if you are looking for an honest, straightforward, down to earth person who actually cares about what he is doing. It’s really critical to me and so important to the pet that I know all the rules of the house and sometimes written words or notes on key items will help. Recordings from pet parents are an awesome tool that I strongly encourage. Recordings of instructions for me or if I find an anxious pet that is calmed by your voice it serves two important purposes,,,,we can dive into this after our meet and greet. Many homes now have security systems with cameras and I am totally comfortable with that,,,I work in Entertainment, with high profile Artists,,,Cameras and recordings are just a regular part of my day. I am flexible, easy to talk to, I am happy to keep records or send photos and can accommodate almost all scenarios, I love communicating, carry a mobile device with answering service for times if I’m backstage and can’t physically answer the phone I can always read and reply to messages. My schedule would always be discussed as well as any location or venue information in advance so that you can plan and decide if it works for you.

I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them, dogs parks are lots of fun as well! My daily schedule includes a day job that I attend Monday-Friday, so I am best able to care for pets that are comfortable being alone for up to 8 hours. When I arrived to their house he was excited to see me, but when we went to go to the car, he ran back into their home. So he must have had a great time!
