About: I've taken care of pets ever since I can remember, all the way from dogs to lizards. I have always been passionate about pet care since I was a little girl because I believe animals are the most misunderstood gift that humans have been given. I understand that all animals require that we pay attention to their specific means of communication and needs. I am knowledgeable in gaining the trust of pets, advanced in hygiene maintenance, capable of medicinal administration, proficient in providing pets exercise and abiding by and understanding diet restrictions. I am fully available for pet care for all hours during the day, and am able to do overnight stays with pre arranged appointments. If a long multiple day stay is required I need time to go back to my home for 1 or 2 hours during the day to take care of my own pet. I care for pets in my client's home given that they provide clear instructions for how they want me to care for their pet and they make me aware of the supplies and resources their pet requires. If I am to do an in home appointment, I require a phone call and one in person meeting to get to know you and your pet.

I'm available for boarding from 10 AM to 10 PM everyday except for Friday's (and the occasional Sunday). My availability will change in September when my university classes start up again. Making sure that dogs get to explore and sniff to their hearts content is very important to me, as its been found to make them feel more happy and safe. I also have a water bottle for dogs so they can stay hydrated on active and warm days. Ultimately, it's important to me that I respect your pets need for both attention and personal space.

About: I grew up in a household with dogs and as an adult had an energetic husky, after his passing we got an orange long haired tabby cat who had moved to Calgary with our son. I miss the interaction with pets which is why I would like to help you with care of yours. I have recently retired and so I’m available during the week until 5 pm. Victoria is awesome and agreed to my cat-sitting request on fairly short notice. Meet-and-greet was set-up and I had a chance to introduce her to my cats. Well, my older cat stayed and made friends and the younger ones took a bit longer. I received daily photos and videos while I was away.
