“Leeann was a great caregiver who arrived right on time for two visits per day with my cat. She showed genuine warmth, and followed all of his feeding and care routines precisely. She also administered his daily oral medication and sent me a daily update and picture. Thank you!”

About: I've always had cats or dogs of some kind, and have regularly cared for friends and families pets! I love all animals furry or scaly! I'm in-between jobs at the moment so I have unlimited boughts of time to hangout with your furry friend! Nothing is truly blocking my schedule! Since I have no ther commitments at the moment I'll be sure to take great care of your furry friend! I'm down for long walks, and am comfortable cleaning up any mishaps that happen!
About: I enjoy helping dogs stay comfortable and relaxed in their usual routine. I offer dependable walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, and companionship with a calm, patient approach. I'm always happy to take dogs on long walks or play some fetch to help them run off some energy:) My schedule is flexible and I work from home frequently on week days so that makes it easy for me to pop over to people's places and check on their pets, feed them, drop in to administer medications or take them on a walk or play session. My home is better suited to cat clients who need somewhere else to stay while mom and dad are away:) I have large windows, a supervised balcony space, a lot of cat toys (including interactive toys) and puzzles, supplies like spare cat beds and scratching trees. And of course, they are always welcome on the furniture for cuddles when they're here:)
“Jonathan did great with my cats. They are not very friendly with strangers but he took all the hissing and swats aimed at him in stride. By the end of the booking they seemed to have warmed up a bit and when I came home they were relaxed and calm. Jonathan also injured his knee right before the booking but still did not cancel, even though my apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator. I really appreciated that 🙂. He was extremely flexible with dropping off/ picking up keys and the initial meet and greet. The rover cards were detailed and I loved all the numerous creative pictures I received of the cats. I would definitely book with him again!”

About: Hi everyone!! Please use my promo code to get money off your first rover experience! CADES50914 https://www.rover.com/sit/cades50914 I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, caring for family and friends' dogs and cats with a genuine love for spending time with them. Pets have always been part of my life, and I truly enjoy being active with them, whether it's going for walks or even runs with my furry friends. I am currently a full-time student at the University of Toronto, but my afternoons and weekends are free to play, walk, and check in on your pups and cats. I am very flexible with times and can accommodate most needs. When checking in on your pets, I ensure they're comfortable and well-cared for in their familiar environment. I stick to their routines, providing food, water, and any necessary medications. I also take time for play, cuddles, and walks to keep them happy and active. I aim to create a calm, loving atmosphere so they feel secure while you're away.
“Was very easy to book with and when there was an issue with the booking they were quick to help me fix it. Great report and update on my pup. Followed instructions. Will book again in the future!”

“Ava was excellent! She was quick and easy to communicate with and she took great care of our boys while we were exploring Sicamous and the Wineries! Would love to have her again when we return for another vacation! Highly recommend.”

“Judy was wonderful with our kitty and we felt so much more relaxed and able to enjoy our holiday with her stopping in and taking care of him. Her updates made us feel like we were not so far away. Thank you, Judy!!”

“From the moment my dog met Andrea, she was enamored. Pepper is normally suspicious and barks at people who come to the door, but I think Andrea has such a calm quiet gentle demeanor, that Pepper felt comfortable with her right away! The cats, too, came right over and were mesmerized. Andrea carefully listened to and took note of all instructions, was easy to communicate with throughout, and I had absolutely no worries leaving my pets and home in her care. She got some great photos of my pets during visits, too, so I could see how content they were. Andrea also noticed and responded to my senior dog's needs in terms of energy levels--walking her when she was energetic and staying chill when she needed that. I highly recommend Andrea!”

“She took care of my two cats for 4.5 days. I really appreciated how thoroughly she went over my instructions and provided detailed updates on how each day went. While she was unfortunately late most days - and significantly late on the last day for their scheduled feeding time - she stayed well past her scheduled time to ensure my cats received complete care. We even extended her booking by 30 minutes so she could comfortably give the my cats the care they needed and be compensated for her time. She truly prioritized my cats’ well-being. Her dedication to my cats ultimately made up for the tardiness.”

“Karen and Dan were wonderful! They sent lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay and made us feel very comfortable trusting our puppy with them. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Madison was really great! We needed someone for a quick drop in and feeding our dogs Luna and Millie in the middle of the day while we were at work. Madison was very kind and sent us updates and pictures of our girls while there, played with them and let them out in the yard for a potty break, giving us piece of mind that our furry babies has someone to give them some love during the day! I would highly recommend her. :)”

“I do not have enough positive things to say about our experience with Cynthia. Although new to the rover scene, her love of animals and attention to detail is so obvious. My guys immediately took to her upon first meeting - and I knew we had made the right choice! She truly went over and above to ensure that both our home and our precious kitties were safe and happy while away. I would not hesitate to recommend her in any capacity for your pet sitting needs 12 out of 10. Thank you, Cynthia!!!!!”

“Sarah-Beth was reliable with a good intuition towards the needs of my cat that I totally trust. She was also able to squeeze in a few last minute requests for bookings which I really appreciate. I would book Sara-Beth again and strongly recommend her to any one who needs a funny, reliable, and animal loving sitter!”

“V was fantastic! She was reliable with excellent closed loop communication and I knew that our pup was well taken care of when she was around. She sent lots of pictures during the visit. She’s excellent. Would highly recommend!”

Cade was a great cat sitter! He arrived on-time for each check-in to administer Uno's oral medication, provide him with fresh food, water and clean his litter. I appreciate the extra little things, and I know Uno appreciated the pets and brushing. Thank you.

Ava is our to-go pet sitter for our cat Tito! She is just such a sweet and attentive human! She sends tons of photos while pet sitting and in all of them it seems like our cat truly feels comfortable and trusts her, it's even funny to see how he doesn't seem to miss us and is just enjoying his time with her. She is also very polite and professional in all the interactions. I truly recommend her to everyone.

We’ve had Miranda and Aaron as cat sitters a few times now, and they are always great—thoughtful and reliable, with cute updates and pics. They pay attention to the small details and personal preferences of our cats, and go above and beyond to take good care of them. We’ll definitely contact them again the next time we need a cat sitter. Thanks Miranda and Aaron!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
