About: I grew up in a household with dogs and as an adult had an energetic husky, after his passing we got an orange long haired tabby cat who had moved to Calgary with our son. I miss the interaction with pets which is why I would like to help you with care of yours. I have recently retired and so I’m available during the week until 5 pm. I’m flexible of course should your needs go outside my regular schedule. Since we have no pets in the house, I would love to open our house to your beautiful pet or I can come to you.

About: I've taken care of pets ever since I can remember, all the way from dogs to lizards. I have always been passionate about pet care since I was a little girl because I believe animals are the most misunderstood gift that humans have been given. I understand that all animals require that we pay attention to their specific means of communication and needs. I am fully available for pet care for all hours during the day, and am able to do overnight stays with pre arranged appointments. If a long multiple day stay is required I need time to go back to my home for 1 or 2 hours during the day to take care of my own pet. I care for pets in my client's home given that they provide clear instructions for how they want me to care for their pet and they make me aware of the supplies and resources their pet requires. If I am to do an in home appointment, I require a phone call and one in person meeting to get to know you and your pet.

About: Hi! I’m Bell! I’ve had dogs my entire life and am experienced in taking care of both large dogs and senior dogs! I am also comfortable around reactive dogs and understand their particular needs. Dogs are creatures of habit, so I do my best to keep up with their usual routines in your stead making the stressful separation from their family as least disruptive to their life as possible! I have entirely open availability and am able to do same day scheduling. I am flexible and can adapt to the routines and schedules you and your pets prefer. My main goal is to ensure that your pet feels just as comfortable in their home as they always do. Before you leave I will ask you for their regular routine, habits, walk routes, peculiarities, etc, to make sure that the experience brings as little stress as possible to your pet. I am also aware that some pets are more cuddly than others and will always do my best to respect their boundaries and allow them space to decompress. Typically, if they have a bed or other sleeping/relaxing area, I respect that that is their space and won’t approach them there unless absolutely necessary.
About: I’ve taken care of pups since I had my own at age 10 and have dog sitted and walked for friends as well. I love giving puppy snuggles, pets, belly rubs, ear scratches, and words of affirmation. I’m currently working part-time on a flexible remote schedule, so I’ve got tons of time to walk & love your pup(s)! I’m also available every day except Sundays! When pups are in the yard, they’ll never be left alone. Inside the house, we will always be together or in close proximity so I can monitor behaviour and playtime if there are other pets!

Victoria is awesome and agreed to my cat-sitting request on fairly short notice. Meet-and-greet was set-up and I had a chance to introduce her to my cats. Well, my older cat stayed and made friends and the younger ones took a bit longer. I received daily photos and videos while I was away. Ho Chi and, finally, Phnom made their appearances and enjoyed their time with Victoria. All the cats were happy! I would definitely book with Victoria again! Thank you!
Madison took great care of our cat while we were away for two weeks. She was reliable, sent lots of photos and updates, and gave us peace of mind during our trip. Our cat was happy and well cared for when we returned home. We would happily book with her again and highly recommend her.
Haley did her best with our standoffish cat Mekkie. Even with the very special treats, he did not soften in his attitude. His loss. We appreciated Haley for assuring us that Mekkie was alright, and he was being fed; and for alerting us that our house alarm was signalling a failure.
Kevin checked in on my two cats during a weekend that I was out of town. He was calm and attentive to instructions and provided much-needed attention for my very social cats, as well as crucial insulin administration for my diabetic cat. I'll be in touch with him for future catsitting.
Kayla was great and very responsive! Lupita was very happy when we returned from our trip. Kayla had helpful suggestions while she was there and always made us feel at ease during her visits. Would totally recommend her to take care of your pet. And we would absolutely rely on her the next time.
Jonathan did great with my cats. They are not very friendly with strangers but he took all the hissing and swats aimed at him in stride. By the end of the booking they seemed to have warmed up a bit and when I came home they were relaxed and calm. Jonathan also injured his knee right before the booking but still did not cancel, even though my apartment is on the fourth floor with no elevator. I really appreciated that 🙂. He was extremely flexible with dropping off/ picking up keys and the initial meet and greet. The rover cards were detailed and I loved all the numerous creative pictures I received of the cats. I would definitely book with him again!
Qi took care of our rabbit and cat for over 2 weeks. He did a great job following instructions and our pets became good friends with him. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pets and your home, but Qi made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. This was our first time using a pet sitter, and it won't be the last time that we use Qi!
