Animals aren’t just a hobby for me; they are my passion. (My own pup always inspects my pant legs to get the full report on which fur-friends I’ve visited!) ​For the cats: It’s tuning into their subtle signals, and letting them explore at their own pace—whether that's investigating a new toy or scent-checking where I've been. ​ ​I don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" pet sitting. Every animal has a distinct personality, and unique comfort zones. My goal is to meet them right where they are and provide genuine mental and physical enrichment while you're away. ​I treat every pet as the center of my universe while they're in my care—because I know you are the center of theirs. I work as a part-time letter carrier, but I have mornings (until 12), almost all evenings, and most weekends available to care for your pet(s). I have been called "too trusting" in my past... but this has luckily never injured me in a serious way. In fact, the worst thing is realizing that my standard of trustworthiness is NOT universal... but that has made me more skeptical of others when it really matters. Caring for your pet is something that requires a lot of trust of me, and I appreciate your skepticism. I wouldn't leave my fur-babies with just anyone, too. Training dogs when I was younger made me much more aware of body language and different personalities. I am always watching for potential stressors or safety issues. I love giving dogs the freedom of an off-leash area, but would have to trust that they will listen to me before being comfortable with any safety risks involved with that.

About: Your furchild will be valued as a family member so you won't have to worry when you are away. When you leave your furchild with us, you are not just boarding them but you will be rest assured that they will be taken good care like every furparents want when they leave them with someone. Having a rescued furchild who did not have any history (he was a stray as per the animal control) wasn't the easiest for us, but with patience, dedication and love - we have seen a lot of improvements. "A dog doesn't care if your are rich or poor. Educated or Illiterate. Clever or Dull. Give him your heart. And he will give his". About: I’m available most days for dog walks and drop-in visits, including weekends and last-minute requests. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and always make sure to follow each pet’s normal routine. I’ll send photo/video updates during every visit, and I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime, walks, and basic daily care. I’m patient, responsible, and I always pay attention to each pet’s routine and behavior. I’ll also send photo or video updates so you know how your pet is doing. My schedule is flexible and I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walking throughout the week. I’m especially convenient for clients around Downtown Edmonton and the University of Alberta area. I can usually work around your pet’s normal feeding or walking schedule, and I’m happy to discuss timing in advance. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and try to keep each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. During visits, I make sure doors are secured, food and water are refreshed, litter boxes are cleaned when needed, and dogs are safely leashed before going outside. About: I have volunteered at the Edmonton humane society for 5 years with cats and small animals. I have experience walking small and medium dogs for friends as well as owning a sheltie for 10 years. I am home full time and my availability is quite open. My kids may be with me and shower love and attention on your fur babies. I have a fenced backyard and many doors in the house to section off an area for supervision. I am willing to travel or transport pets with my own large vehicle. I am home full time with my 3 kids so your pet will get lots of attention from our full house. We love to be outdoors with your pet! We have a fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighbourhood. We have little traffic going by our house. It’s a great area for a stress free walk for your dog!

About: I’ve been around and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from Great Danes to Shih Tzus. I have experience with puppies as young as 6 weeks that need more attention, play time, and potty breaks. But also senior dogs as old as 18 that need more rest and calmer environments. I’m currently working part time but do expect to start my full time summer job soon. Feel free to ask me about my work schedule as my hours and days change weekly. I enjoy very early mornings and evenings. I enjoy morning walks and love being accompanied by others pets. My weekends are usually spent at home and are very slow paced. I like spending time outdoors and occasionally going to the dog park with my friends and their animals. I have a large, fenced off, grass backyard and built in baby gates around my home. My house is mostly carpet which I find more comfortable and safer for the senior dogs that come around.

About: I have a diploma in Animal Sciences, worked at the Humane Society and have had dogs/pets all my life. Currently have 2 senior cats who love other animals and love to play. I am a fun, loving person and I have a lot of free time and I am also available on weekends. If your dog is currently going through some training I would be happy to work on that while I have him/her. There is a yard and grassy areas around my apartment and would have tons of space to play outside. I also live near dog parks. I like bigger breeds such as huskies and German Shepard’s so size of your dog is not an issue.
