“I simply cannot say enough glowing things about Adina. I have a wee Chihuahua that has never been apart from me and needed 4 days of care for her. Adina and her husband came by my house for a meet and greet before her boarding and immediately put any concerns I had at ease. When I dropped my Lily off Adina had toys for her which she immediately got into, she felt very at ease. Throughout her visit, Adina sent pictures and messages and a Wonderful funny video of them both. Adina is one of the most loving gentle people, I have met and gave my Lily an amazing wee holiday. You would be incredibly fortunate to have Adina care for your pup. I couldn't say Thank you enough!!! Bless you Adina 🫂🐾🙏♥️”

“We couldn’t be happier with Katelyn! She takes such amazing care of matcha and always keeps us updated with messages and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares and Matcha absolutely loves her. Highly recommend!”

“Dylan was great with rocky and most likely the only person I trust to watch him now. He gives all the attention my pup needed and more. Rocky absolutely loves him and I know he cant wait to go back !”

“Brittany, thank you so much for taking such fantastic care of our pups. We were really nervous to leave them with someone we didn't know and you made the experience so much easier! Can't thank you enough!”

About: We know firsthand that dogs are family. We cared for our beloved dog for 11 years through two knee surgeries and several other procedures due to genetic health issues, giving her the best care every step of the way. That experience taught us patience, responsibility, and how to recognize when a dog needs extra attention. We provide a calm, loving home, daily walks, plenty of affection, and will follow your dog's routine exactly as you request. We treat every dog like one of our own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we're best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours during the workday. Every dog gets a morning walk before we leave, an evening walk when we're home, and lots of love and attention afterward. On weekends we're home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions exactly as requested. We treat every dog like a member of our family and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. We also volunteer with an incredible pet rescue in Edmonton dog sitting for fosters while they wait for their forever home and absolutely love everything about it. All dogs we watch will 100% be treated like royalty 💜 We also have a toy box full of new toys where your incredible pet gets to bring home their favorite toy after their stay 🥰
“Was so happy to find her on here , she was a wonderful caring woman who treated our baby like her own . Was provided lots of daily photos and updates . Would recommend her !”

“Always easy to book with and truly cares about providing comfort for our dog and us. Provides updates regularly. Pretty sure Mojo misses all the attention when we take her home.”

“Our dog looked like she was living her beat life staying with Pamela! What a wonderful sitter - she gave our dog daily walks in the river valley and had such a great rapport with her right from our meet and greet through her stay. Thanks and we will book again! Alison”

About: I have been house sitting and pet sitting for the last 10 years. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, from bulldogs to rottweilers, to cattle dogs, and shi-tzus. I also have two 7 year-old domestic short-haired kitties named Mr. Finn and Leonard! I also have several years of experience dealing with birds and reptiles, as well as small animals from working at two different pet stores. I cannot wait to meet your furry friend and treat them like my own! I am currently off for the summer before returning to school so I am happy to spend as much time with your pets as I can. Over night stays can also be arranged for an extra charge, depending on availability. I would love to chat with you to figure out what works best for you and your pet. I am hoping to make this into full-time work, so that I can dedicate my life to doing something I love. My experience with different breeds, temperments, and ages/health concerns makes me more than qualified to handle anything your pet has to throw at me! I am comfortable with force-free training, providing medications, and crating animals. Even the grumpiest cat will not deter me. I am happy to meet them at their level, whether that's jumping and kissing or completely leaving them alone!
“Eunika is such a kind and caring person. She always sends us videos, pictures, and messages, and even when we don't ask, she makes sure to keep us updated. Her thoughtfulness gives us so much peace of mind, knowing that Yumi is in loving hands. We truly appreciate the love, care, and attention she gave to Yumi. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can completely trust with their furry family member. Thank you so much, Eunika, for taking such wonderful care of Yumi. We are incredibly grateful!”

“Karyn was a great sitter! She kept us in the loop the entire time our dog was there, with texts, pictures and videos. Frankie had a lot of playtime with Karyn’s dog along with other dogs she was sitting during Frankie’s stay. We knew she was being well taken care of and having a blast! Will definitely be having Karyn sit again in the future :)”

“I can’t recommend Heather highly enough! She took exceptional care of our dog while we were away. My dog was happy and healthy when I returned, and it was clear he had received plenty of love and attention. Heather's reliable, trustworthy, and truly has a way with animals. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who will treat your pets like their own, look no further.”
“Ana was amazing! We left Rocket for a couple of days and she sent me updates about him, she is very nice and I will highly recommend her and use her services again”

“I am so thankful that I found Jeremy and his wife, Tina, on Rover. I was looking for someone to take care of my little Kiwi for a couple of days. He is 6 years old and had never been boarded before so it was new to him. Jeremy and Tina took such great care of him and kept me posted throughout the time I was away. They were patient and loving with him and even though he was nervous and cautious at first, in no time he got comfortable and I could tell he enjoyed being with them. I would highly recommend Jeremy and Tina to anyone looking for a caring and attentive couple to care for your fur baby. They will definitely be my go to whenever next I need someone to watch Kiwi for me. Thanks again Jeremy and Tina…you were awesome! 😊”

“Michelle and her family were absolutely fantastic with Archer. I was able to relax knowing that he was being well cared for and that his safety and well being isn’t overlooked.”

“Wonderful Dog sitters, they sent so many pictures and updated my family on how our dogs day was daily! I won’t hesitate to make them my first choice when I need a sitter again!”

“Second time having Brenda to take care of my dog. She is a very attentive dog care taker and I never have to worry about my dog under her supervision. She gave my dog a lot of behaviour training that I couldn’t do well enough with my dog. Thanks to Brenda, my dog really enjoyed his stay for two nights. Would definitely come back for Brenda’s help next time.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Edmonton
Sherrie and her family were amazing with our pups. We could sense how comfortable our pups were with them and it was evident how well cared for and loved our pups were, while in their care. During pickup, after their initial excitement of seeing us, our younger pup tried to follow Sherrie back into her home as she went in to get their bag. This is a glowing endorsement for us as he normally sticks to is like glue! Sherrie also provided daily text and/or photo updates which put our minds at ease. This was our first Rover booking and we were unsure of what to expect, but seeing our pups looking so relaxed and happy confirmed that we had found a perfect home/pet sitting family for our pups. We have already booked our second stay with Sherrie and we hope that we she will always be available when we need to book a stay on Rover.

I would recommend Jenna-Lee without hesitation! We left our dog with Jenna-Lee and her lovely family for almost a month, and he was very much loved and well taken care of. It can be stressful to leave your pet with anyone new, but rest assured, your stress is not needed here! We received pictures and messages everyday, and Jenna-Lee was very diligent at following our feeding instructions. We feel so lucky to have found her. Not sure our dog wanted to come home 😊.

Zoey provided care for about 12 days during our summer holiday this year. She was very responsive to our questions when we were deciding which dog sitter to use, and she was also very communicative while our pup was in her care. She sent us pictures and videos of our dog having fun with her pets every other day and responded within hours or faster to any questions we had when I checked in. We will definitely be using her again. Highly recommended.

Our dog looked like she was living her beat life staying with Pamela! What a wonderful sitter - she gave our dog daily walks in the river valley and had such a great rapport with her right from our meet and greet through her stay. Thanks and we will book again! Alison

I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about Lexia. From the very beginning, she has treated our pup like her own-with so much love, patience, and genuine care. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that when we’re away, our baby isn’t just being looked after, but truly cared for and loved. We feel so lucky to have found someone so kind, reliable, and dedicated. I wouldn’t trust anyone else the way I trust Lexia. Thank you for always taking such amazing care of our fur baby ❤️

Jessica took absolutely wonderful care of our 15 year old bichon-shih tzu, who is mostly blind and deaf and requires medication twice a day. We had never left her in the care of a stranger before but would 100% leave her with Jessica again!!! She sent us daily updates and pictures and let us meet her beforehand to make sure our dog was ok there. I would definitely recommend!

JP and Paloma are amazing! They took in my cat for a week just a few days after she had a biopsy on her leg. They were able to administer medication, clean the incision area and just took really good care of her all together. Their communication was really great and I appreciated the daily check ins. They really put my mind at ease while I was away at a tough time. I definitely recommend them!!

Aleena was wonderful with Olive. She kept me updated and when Olive refused to eat Aleena went out of the way to try different methods to get her to eat. lol. Her cats were sweethearts and tolerant of my cat too. I am very happy with my experience and look forward to book Aleena for future boarding too.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
