From the moment Zoey met him, it was obvious that he is a genuine dog lover with a calm, experienced and mature approach to caring for dogs. Zoey immediately seemed comfortable, secure and relaxed around him, which gave us a lot of confidence leaving her in his care. Darin also kept us wonderfully updated and sent us plenty of pictures, so we always felt connected and could see that Zoey was having a great time. Being a Labrador Retriever, Zoey absolutely loves the water, swimming, running around and fetching her ball — and it is hard to imagine a better place for her than Darin’s Lake House. She had so much space and freedom to enjoy herself, which is especially important to us because she is very used to off-leash time and having a large area to explore. It was absolutely worth driving a little farther to bring her to Darin. When we picked her up, she looked happy, relaxed and completely content — in fact, I had a hard time convincing her to get into the car and come home with us! :) We truly appreciate the care Darin gave Zoey and would recommend him 100% to anyone looking for a responsible, experienced and trustworthy dog sitter. I would especially recommend him for dogs that enjoy plenty of outdoor space, off-leash freedom and individual attention.”

Our 5 month old pups were well taken care of by Lisa and Darcy and family. Lisa kept us updated on their progress as well as our older dog who is very hard to place as he has anxiety issues we were always updated on how he was settling. Very nice people who looked after them like they were their own dogs. Highly recommend Lisa and Darcy.
Melissa has been great and accommodating, even came to help us out by picking our dog up from us when we on our to the booking and got stranded on the highway when the RV blew a tire. Melissa and her son are both great with dogs and communicate well if there are any issues. She takes the dogs to the off leash park regularly for lots of exercise and to tire them out.
Damara and Tye were awesome! They sent lots of pictures and updates of Winston and he seemed to love having some friends there to play with especially their one dog, Vada, who Winston became instant best friends with! They were very accommodating of all Winston's needs as well.
