“Our girl, Daya (part retriever and part collie) had a great time with Melissa and family while Daya's human family were away on vacation. Daya's second family (Melissa and family) kept her active and engaged with off-leash outings and lots of interaction with animals and humans. Melissa has two girl doggies who are half of Daya's age and that was great for keeping Daya active and on her toes. These two girl doggies are extremely fun loving and playful. There was a lot of great human interaction too from Melissa and her human family. We know this because of all of the written updates Melissa provided us that were augmented by pictures and videos. We also know Daya felt comfortable and at home based on where and how she slept, and the absence of in-house accidents (which she can do when stressed or anxious). It was very apparent that Daya felt at home, comfortable, and was very well taken care of, again based on the updates and photos/videos, but also on how happy, fit, and good natured she was when we picked her up. Carrie was absolutely amazing taking care of our 4 almost 5 year old dog. We had a meet and greet as this was our first time leaving our dog anywhere and found Carrie to be very friendly and could tell right away how she loved animals and that our dog would be in good hands. While we weren’t too worried about the care she would give after meeting her and how her home is very inviting to the pets, she sent us regular photos to reassure us that things were going well and therefore had no worries while on vacation. We would 100% recommend Carrie to take care of your pet and will definitely be in contact the next time we need to leave our dog. Thank you Carrie!
Damara and Tye were awesome! They sent lots of pictures and updates of Winston and he seemed to love having some friends there to play with especially their one dog, Vada, who Winston became instant best friends with! They were very accommodating of all Winston's needs as well.
