“5 stars – Highly Recommend! I had a fantastic experience with Stacey. She and her daughter took excellent care of Bella, while I was away. They followed all instructions carefully, gave regular updates with photos, and treated my pup like family. I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-exercised dog. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Bella was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with Stacey again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Katrina and Ryan were phenomenal with our dog Jasper. They provided frequent updates of their adventures, and made every moment enjoyable and fun for him. Communication was efficient and effective. They went above and beyond to ensure a safe and fun experience for our dog. We were comfortable and confident leaving Jasper with Katrina and Ryan and we will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy!!”

“Jill was amazing with my pomsky Raffi! He didn’t want to leave and gave me very dirty looks the whole drive home. She was very attentive and sent all types of great pictures/updates! I would highly recommend her and will use her again!”

“Thank you Ana :) we really appreciate you watching, taking care of, walking, and making sure luna feels comfortable. I got frequent photos and videos throughout and was able to book and confirm within minutes. ❤️”

“Benjamin was great! He took time at a meet and greet to really get to know her. He even asked us to leave for 20 minutes and then come back, so she knew we'd come and get her, as a 'practice'. Thank you for taking amazing care of our sweety, we will definitely use your services again :)”

“This was the first time I ever left my pup with someone else. I'm glad I found the Rover app and Colton made my leaving easy. From the very beginning he was a great communicator, responded quickly to my request which was important as it was a last minute travel plan. He took great care of Yoda and I cannot thank him enough.”

“Terrific experience with Ana and her family looking after our St. Bernard, Abbie for a week. She had a great time and came home happy and healthy! Ana sent photos and video to keep us up-to-date, but I wasn’t worried. I could tell from our first meeting that Ana and her family were very kind and a great fit for us. We knew Abbie was safe and loved. I will be booking Abbie for a stay in the future!”

“Leaving Wally with Paula and her family put my mind at ease. It’s nice to be able to go away and not have to worry . It was nice to leave Wally with such a loving family . Thanks Paula and family ❤️”

“I know Scotter had a blast staying with Gordon and Nina, he had other pups to play with which he loves. We were kept updated with pictures and videos. It's so nice to have piece of mind knowing your pup is happy and safe. Next time we need a sitter we hope they are still available!”

“Sarah was excellent to deal with, she took great care of our dog and provided daily updates. She was great to use and we will definitely leave our dog with her again, highly recommend her!!”

“We are extremely happy with the service. We left our two small dogs for a trip for the first time. One of our dogs has anxiety as well and they handled it very well. We constantly got updates with walk progression, pictures and videos. The dogs are healthy and happy. It was like they were on their own mini vacation while we were away. Will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Lynette was amazing with our dog Sputten! We appreciate her flexibility in taking Sputten from another sitter mid trip to make our vacation possible. We loved the daily photo updates. We were able to enjoy our trip because we knew he was being loved and well taken care of. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Lynette again in the future and would highly recommend her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Maple Ridge
Rhonda has helped out with my dog Luna on several occasions! Day time day care services to a week long boarding service. And every time Rhonda has been excellent and each time Luna has come home happy and healthy. Her other dogs in the house are friendly and have had no issues getting along with my dog. Rhonda has also helped out in other ways such as walking my dog and by dropping my dog off at other locations to help out in transfer of care. It's such a relief to know my dog is in good hands while I'm away on a trip or working a longer shift at work. I would definitely recommend her to anyone else needing these above services. Thanks for everything Rhonda!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
