About: Ive been working with all sorts of animals all my life, I'm very enthusiastic about any work that involves them. I have years of experience in many different animals, including reptiles. Animals have a natural gravitation towards me and I'm very patient and loving with any and all animals no matter how much attitude they can give. Dogs require a firm yet gentle soul to care for them and I believe that I provide just that. Any time I get to spend with animals is time well spent! My daily life is taking care and managing animals at home; I love waking up with a purpose of aiding and spending time with these cute little creatures I'd care for your animals if your home; mine has multiple cats with different personalities so its best to keep them separate from others. About: Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve shared my home with beloved cats for most of my adult life. Over the years I’ve also co-habited with small and medium dogs, cared for senior pets, and supported many animals through the last gentle stages of their lives. My professional background is in environmental science (35 years), a path I chose out of love and devotion to animals, wildlife, and the natural world. About: I am flexible with all my services, including house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have several years’ experience with dog walking and house sitting (including drop-in style), and I am an athlete so I have the physical strength necessary to handle large dogs. I am currently a professional volleyball player so while I’m not overseas I really enjoy leaving space in my schedule to dog sit! I have completed an internship position at a wildlife rehabilitation facility (WildNorth) and have a degree in conservation biology, so I am very passionate about animals! Growing up with multiple pets, I learned early on how to appreciate and handle them. I have also raised and trained a puppy myself, and I’m an amateur training enthusiast. The longest I typically would have to leave your dog alone is for 2.5 hours when I have a couple coaching sessions. About: From showing dogs professionally, to grooming cats and dogs and owning them all my life; I have the knowledge and experience to handle any pet with the care based on their individual needs. I also offer grooming and training, as well as drop in pet sitting where I check in on your pets while you’re gone. I currently work very part time (Wednesday-Friday and the occasional Saturday) and have more than enough time for my own pets and want to spend all the extra time helping care for yours! Currently I am available Saturday-Tuesday just about any time. Wednesdays I have time in the morning and can do an evening drop in after work around 9pm Thursday and Fridays I am off around 4 and am available in the evening. I have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 fish tanks. I balance all of them along with having 2 children as well. To me, caring for pets means they are family and should be included as such. During a regular week my dogs are given a variation of walking, training and mental stimulation games. The cats can be found lounging with us in our past times or playing amongst themselves.
