“Niki took care of my pet for an entire week - 2 drop ins per day. She has been amazing, sent me updates and pictures. Very reliable and nice! Highly recommend. Easy to communicate with.”

“Jasmine was diligent, going through Scooter's care instructions for the visit, following along with his medication instructions for his gum infection. Checked in, polite, made Scooter comfortable.”

“AMAZING!! 2/3 of my cats are very shy and Ana was able to bring them out of their shell and play with them and get some cuddles! Her short visits helped me feel so much better about leaving my kitties for the week while I was in another province. My cats looked sooo happy in all the photos while they were eating and also getting that playtime in! So so so happy with her service. Will definitely rebook in the future if she will have me!!”

About: I’m a dog lover and my dog is a lover of all other dogs. I work full time and live a really active lifestyle outside of that. My dog is a dachshund who is 1 year old and super loving. He is great with all dogs from bouviers to chihuahuas. Endless snuggles, a good running companion and puppy park adventures will fill your pups schedule. I don’t have any professional pet sitting experience, just an animal lover that shares the interest in leaving their best friend in good hands! I have a criminal record check and hold a job that requires high integrity and professional obligation. I have finally found a way to monetize my true talent of puppy snuggling... dreams really do come true.
“From the moment my dog met Andrea, she was enamored. Pepper is normally suspicious and barks at people who come to the door, but I think Andrea has such a calm quiet gentle demeanor, that Pepper felt comfortable with her right away! The cats, too, came right over and were mesmerized. Andrea carefully listened to and took note of all instructions, was easy to communicate with throughout, and I had absolutely no worries leaving my pets and home in her care. She got some great photos of my pets during visits, too, so I could see how content they were. Andrea also noticed and responded to my senior dog's needs in terms of energy levels--walking her when she was energetic and staying chill when she needed that. I highly recommend Andrea!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up around dogs and has been caring for cats for the past 7 years. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm currently unemployed so I'm mostly available at any time, but once I'm back at work, I can easily fit into my schedule no problem. Animals don't scare me, we just need to give them some space and respect their boundaries. Being calm around them always helps so they know they're not under threat.
“Lori has taken care of my cat Noodles many times, she always sends me photos and I can tell my cat feels happy and safe. I would highly recommend her services for any of your pet care needs!”

About: For me, a wagging tail isn’t just a greeting—it’s a language I’ve been speaking since I rescued my first pet when I was 10. Since then, my life has been defined by the wagging tails and soft purrs of the animals I’ve helped heal and protect. I don’t just see pet sitting as a job; I see it as a commitment to making sure your best friend feels safe, seen, and deeply loved while you're away. Growing up with rescues taught me how to speak their silent language—whether it’s giving a shy dog the space they need to trust me or recognizing the specific needs of a senior pet who just wants a gentle stroll. Because I’m based right in the heart of the city, your pup and I will enjoy soulful walks through the Mill Creek Ravine, peaceful mornings in Windsor, or lively adventures along Whyte Ave and the River Valley. Whether your dog needs a high-energy hike or a patient companion for a slow walk, I promise to treat them with the same devotion I’ve given to every rescue animal that has crossed my path for the last 16 years. I am available to take care of your pet at all times during the weekends and in the evenings of the workdays. I am pretty flexible to navigate the time and date that works for you, your pet, and me! My 16 years of rescue experience have made me a "safety-first" sitter who treats your home like a sanctuary. Whether navigating the River Valley or your living room, I am an expert at "door-dash" prevention and always enter/exit with extreme caution. For walkers, I am Edmonton weather-savvy, prioritizing paw protection from salt and extreme cold to keep your pups safe. For sitters, I perform daily "safety sweeps" for hazards like toxic plants or loose strings. From building trust with shy cats through "slow blinks" to ensuring dogs are securely harnessed, I provide a professional, low-stress environment. You can expect total transparency with detailed Rover Cards and photos after every visit, with local emergency vet info always on hand for absolute peace of mind.

“Mikaila was excellent with our diabetic kitty Ringo. I appreciated the cute updates and photos. Our first experience with Rover and I quite nervous but was a great experience. I do not hesitate to recommend.”

About: One of my previous jobs was at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am Fear Free certified, which means your dogs will always be treated with kindness and care. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I never encountered a dog I couldn't handle or get through to. I truly believe that there are no bad dogs. I am currently a student part time at NAIT and am looking for some income and movement in-between my online classes. I am available around 6 hours a day for walking, and am very flexible with my schedule and time. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly golden retriever who's good with cats and dogs. I also have 4 cats that are all cat and dog friendly as well. It's a bit of a zoo but everyone is happy and healthy. I always say the animals eat better than we do.
About: I have been around animals my whole life. In elementary school, I would be greeted by our farm cats as soon as I got home. After a quick pet or cuddle with each of them, I would refill their water and food bowls and sit with the bigger cuddlers for as long as I could. In secondary school, I trained our family puppy - from obedience to competing in agility competitions. I loved watching him learn new tricks and never forget the basics, even as a senior dog and with me living away from him. While in university, I kept animals in my life by volunteering at the local SPCA. I loved the bigger dogs, and my heart broke if I ever saw them afraid of other dogs or humans. Helping them through their rehabilitation was an honour. As an adult, I adopted an orange tabby, "Naranjito." Jito, as we call him, is celebrating 17 human years as of 2026. He sleeps a bit more, and needs an extra step to jump sometimes, but he's still strong enough to put his BIGGER 2-year-old spicy sister in her place when she attacks him in play. With only one cat, I craved helping more, and did some pet care for others in my 20s. This involved bird-sitting, and dog-walking. A friend asked me to take in her older cat when she had a family illness. "Sally The Cat" was the embodiment of love. She had diabetes, but would still purr through her blood tests and insulin injections. This made me more comfortable with taking care of more serious health issues. Our current family dog has epilepsy and allergies. His first seizure was a month after his adoption, and was pretty scary - for all of us. I quickly became the person in the family to stay with him through it, and comfort him back to his normal self afterwards. With him, I have become comfortable with giving pills, and asking for veterinary help when needed. I love all animals, but I get to spend my life caring for cats and dogs. I am working part-time, but I have some mornings, a couple evenings, and most weekends available to care for others' pets outside of my home. I have been called "too trusting" in my past... but this has luckily never injured me in a serious way. In fact, the worst thing is realizing that my standard of trustworthiness is NOT universal... but that has made me more skeptical of others when it really matters. Caring for your pet is something that requires a lot of trust of me, and I appreciate your skepticism. I wouldn't leave my fur-babies with just anyone, too. Training dogs when I was younger made me much more aware of body language and different personalities. I am always watching for potential stressors or safety issues. I love giving dogs the freedom of an off-leash area, but would have to trust that they will listen to me before being comfortable with any safety risks involved with that.
