I’m a very patient person and work especially well with shy or timid dogs that need a gentle presence and a little extra time to learn to trust someone new. I love a morning and midday time slot as it allows me to work part time with my other commitments! I may have weeks with more or less availability so message me and we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us! I'm currently unemployed so I'm mostly available at any time, but once I'm back at work, I can easily fit into my schedule no problem. About: Hello my name is Trish, I have had a love for dogs since I was a child my first Experience taking care of pets was my first hamster fluffy and my first dog peewee and from there my love of pets was born and I have had many different kind of animals over the years. I started taking care of neighbors pets when I was about 7 and helped every summer on friends and neighbors farms near by. By the time I was in Jr high I started work program for school at a veterinary clinic and stayed on till after high school. I started working at pet cetra and learned grooming and pet photography. Up until recently I had pets but when they passed I haven't seem to find what I'm looking for so I decided to see about pet sitting. All animals will be given baths if needed and any special needs will be taken care of. I've taken care of quite a few special needs animals and welcome them with open arms. Any special food or treat needs will be discussed with the pet parent and delt with according to there wishes. Fresh water and food will be given at times set by owners and treats at owners decretion. If I'm caring for an over night pet guest they will be welcome to sleep on the bed with me but I do ask that pet owners bring at least one item with there smell on it as well as there bed so they feel safe and comfortable at night time. And one toy of there choice is request as well so they feel comfortable playing with it. I'm currently not working due to a medical condition, and have a lot if free time on my hands I get up fairly early and go for a walk after my coffee, relax a bit and then go for a another walk. Since I have been off work I have been looking to fill my time and this seems like a perfect fit for an animal lover. In my home animal have free roam no couch bed or floor is off limits to them. They would be treated like family and loved as such. They will be spoiled rotten with me as I love all animals. I do request one item with owners scent on it as well as a first time meet to make sure animals feel comfortable being with me. I would never want an animal to feel scared being here.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. My family has had dogs of all sizes throughout my entire life, which has allowed me to learn how to keep them safe, happy, and healthy. My family and friends have trusted me with the care of their pets in the past as well. I also have experience with cats, birds, hamsters, hedgehogs, rabbits, and even pigs. I'm available for boarding from 10 AM to 10 PM everyday except for Friday's (and the occasional Sunday). My availability will change in September when my university classes start up again. Making sure that dogs get to explore and sniff to their hearts content is very important to me, as its been found to make them feel more happy and safe. I also have a water bottle for dogs so they can stay hydrated on active and warm days. Ultimately, it's important to me that I respect your pets need for both attention and personal space.

About: One of my previous jobs was at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am Fear Free certified, which means your dogs will always be treated with kindness and care. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I never encountered a dog I couldn't handle or get through to. I truly believe that there are no bad dogs. I am currently a student part time at NAIT and am looking for some income and movement in-between my online classes. I am available around 6 hours a day for walking, and am very flexible with my schedule and time. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly golden retriever who's good with cats and dogs. I also have 4 cats that are all cat and dog friendly as well. It's a bit of a zoo but everyone is happy and healthy. I always say the animals eat better than we do.
