About: As a child, growing up on a farm, my favourite part of the day was coming home from school and watching our little cat colony run across our yard to greet me. Every one got a good head rub before I walked over to their barn, checked on their fresh water, and filled up their food dish. Only two of the dozen or so cats we kept were "mine," but I treated them all with love...and good good cuddles. As soon as I had my first "grown-up" full-time job, I adopted a little orange kitten - "Naranjito" (Spanish for "my little orange one"; we call him "Jito" for short). That was 17 years ago, and he's still around as "my first baby." When my friend had a family illness and needed to re-home her ragdoll cat, "Sally," I was honoured to rake her into our home. A couple years later, Sally was diagnosed with diabetes. She was the most loving cat - purring from our cuddles as we pricked her ear to test her blood, and then gave her insulin from a needle when needed. Sally became my first-born child's first love and made it easy to teach my children about caring for animals and the joy of their unconditional love.

About: I have a friendly golden retriever, he gets along with dogs of any breed. At any given point of time I house not more than one dog , so that I can give them utmost attention and my love. Including my pet , works to 2 of them in total . Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine. I follow consistent schedules for feeding, walks, exercise, and any special care needs. About: I have over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for my own cockapoo, a 30-pound, high-energy dog who taught me more than I expected. Early on, he pulled on the leash and got easily distracted around other dogs, so I worked through leash training and gradually introduced him to dog parks to build his confidence and social skills. I adapted his exercise routine over time, adding frisbee and fetch to match his energy level. Beyond my own dog, I stepped in for a family friend under emergency circumstances, which taught me how to stay calm under pressure, follow an unfamiliar routine carefully, and pick up on what a dog needs quickly. I confirmed the emergency vet location and sent photo updates within the first hour. During the summer I have full daytime availability. During the school year I am available on evenings and weekends. I typically respond to messages within 24 hours. The safety and comfort of every pet in my care is my first priority. In a client's home I follow all provided instructions carefully, double-check leashes, doors, and outdoor areas, confirm the nearest emergency vet, and send a photo update within the first hour so owners feel reassured from the start.
