About: I started taking care of dogs when I was 11 as that is when my aunt (whom we were living with at the time) got a puppy. My family ended up moving to our own home in 2015. From then, I would go 2-3 days/week to spend time with my aunt’s dog named “Boo”. I would also take care of my best friend’s dogs whenever they would be gone for a long period of time to snuggle, play, and bathe them whenever necessary. Can never forget belly rubs of course! In 2020, my family finally said yes to owning a puppy. That is when I met my best friend Koda. He is a Bichon, and Shihtzu mix. I got him when he was 8 weeks old. I took 3 weeks off of work to make sure he is trained properly, and gets all the snuggles he need especially for a big transition of leaving all his best friends. I am such a dog mom that when I was looking through photos to upload to my profile, I noticed that I don’t take much pictures with the dogs I’ve taken care of before, rather; I only take pictures of them. Hahahaha! I am a student, and work part time. Now that classes are done, I have plenty of time to spend time with my and yours fur baby. Even with a busy schedule, I still make sure to spare time for pet care as it is very important for their overall health. They deserve all the love they need ❤️ I am flexible 7/days a week in the mornings as I work in the evenings mostly. I could also do overnights days in a row, with a month in advance so I can book off of work :) I will provide the best care possible to your best friend(‘s) and care for them like my own as that is how I would like Koda to be treated when left with a pet sitter.

About: I grew up with farm and house pet dogs. I used to breed dogs for many years and my parents were groomers which I helped out with as a teen. I am an active person I enjoy walking and playing outside. My children are aged 5 and 8 all dogs needs to have been around children and enjoy children. I am doing this as a way to love on and care for dogs until I are ready to own our own. I have a large back yard and live in a dog friendly neighborhood with lots of trails. I live close to the Millcreek for fun walks. I like all dogs as long as they love children I am open to all breeds and genders that are house trained. I work full time Monday - Friday in office. We can walks every evening and more at weekends. We love having dogs in our home to show them love and affection. I can cater to the needs of the dog. Follow meal schedules and exercise schedules. I won’t allow dogs upstairs but am fine with them on the couch in the living room if that’s their norm. I will listen to the needs and just love on the dogs and enjoy them. I can offer dog walking service and potty check in to people close by. I am flexible with the service I offer.

About: My name is Caitlin I am 27 years old and I have been in the animal industry since I was 16 years old. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds, cats and caged animals. I do not take care of spiders or snakes. I have worked in various Doggy Daycares and Dog boarding along with pet sitting in my home for various companies in and around Calgary. I have my Pet First Aid and in the middle of getting my Dog Training Certificate. I have taught a 4 year old 60lb Shepherd not to pull - it isn’t easy but it is doable! I volunteered in a vet clinic and have knowledge administering medication orally and through injection I have 1 dog ; Jasper is a Border Collie x Havanese that is 10 years old and a retired service dog. I have trained Jasper to be my husbands service dog for his Type 1 Diabetes, using my own techniques following Karen Pryor methods, I do not agree with Cesar Milan and will not use his techniques. I am very active person that does not stay home any day of the week. I am constantly with my dog and kids which includes going to the river, dog park and various walks in the parks. I am available everyday of the week, my dog(s) are never left alone longer than an hour and most times come with me for a safe car ride! I am excited to chat with you about your pup! I love to talk about dogs ❤️ I’m currently a stay at home mother with my 3 year old son and my 16 month old daughter, I have plenty of time throughout the day to care for all your pets needs as I always in cooperate the pets into my schedule around my children. All animals are family to me, they are my fur babies and will always give above excellent care. They will not be left outside unattended ever and I will spend every minute with them.

About: IN EDMONTON FROM APRIL 30 to MAY 18 :) can take house sitting, dog walking and drop ins. Moving to Nanaimo end of May and will be house/pet sitting until I get settled in. Only house sitting, dock walking and drop in visits available. I am the go to for many friends and family for pet sitting! I travel a lot which makes having a dog or cat of my own hard, so being able to care for my friends pets allows me to get that animal therapy I need! I’ve had their pets in my home, or I’ve stayed at their place to watch them if their pet feels more comfortable in their own home. I love going for walks, and spending as much time with them as I can :) I’ve had pets my entire life - dogs, ferrets, and Guinea pigs. But as of now we don’t have any pets. My husband and I stayed at an animal rescue in Colombia, and it was truly paradise to be surrounded by so many dogs and cats that just wanted to be loved! We also pet sat our entire year in New Zealand (using kiwi housesitters). While I’m in Edmonton I’m free all day! End of May I will be working casual as a sonographer in Nanaimo. I will have some days off but some days I will be out of the house from 7-4. So your pet would have to be okay being alone some days. But you can message me to see if they are days where I am not working. Lots of walks and play time provided! As long as I have all the instructions needed to care for your pet, your fur baby is in good hands! I treat each pet as if they were my own.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child. I currently have two cats who I adore with my entire heart. I have also cared for a dog with epilepsy and a cat with diabetes I’m working full time but I would be happy to come by and watch over your pets before and after my shifts. I can go anywhere the bus system can take me I am willing to follow any needs that the animals whether it be medical, physical or emotional. Caring for them is part of my daily routine, and I would treat your dog with the same level of care and love. 🐾 At home, I have a secure fenced yard with clear signs posted to let visitors know dogs are on the premises. When caring for pets, I stay very alert and always prioritize safety. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions, keep dogs supervised, and ensure they are secure and well cared for at all times. 🐾

I’m currently a full time student at the University of Alberta in the Education program. Therefore I am quite busy! However I am looking to make a little bit of income, I am free nights after 3pm and anytime on the weekend. I have a fenced yard as my cats like to explore outside, I do have one outside cat who explores on his own but comes home whenever he pleases. When opening the door I’m well aware of the area and making sure the cats that aren’t outdoor don’t run out. I ensure my kitty’s water bowl is also filled up and litter boxes are clean.

About: Missing going on walks with my labs on the farm. Would love to give some doggies care and exercise —my cat is NOT about the leash life. I work on the South side 7:00-3:30, Monday to Friday. Available for both early morning and evening walks on weekdays. Available anytime during the weekend. I have experience with many different breeds and temperaments of dogs, as I used to volunteer at the Edmonton Humane Society dog walking the shelter dogs. I do have a fenced yard if off leash time is better suited for your dog. Felix (my cat) can attest he gets all the attention but I also know when he wants personal space. Cats know what they want.

About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. I don't have any pets of my own besides the 2 dogs and cat at my moms that stayed with my family when I moved out. I like to engage with the animals, if I'm coming to your house or otherwise to care for your animal I want them to feel seen and loved in the stressful moments while the most important people in their life are away.
