About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. About: Brooke has had cats since childhood. Brett adopted our cat Butters years ago and she has been thriving in her senior years. We also have an adult cat and a mini Aussie. We are very aware of the needs of herding and high energy dogs. We occasionally foster through a rescue and have experience with very young kittens, recovery times and medication. We both currently do shift work. This gives us 4 days off a week and more flexibility for weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays when our rotations shifts. About: IN EDMONTON FROM APRIL 30 to MAY 18 :) can take house sitting, dog walking and drop ins. Moving to Nanaimo end of May and will be house/pet sitting until I get settled in. Only house sitting, dock walking and drop in visits available. I am the go to for many friends and family for pet sitting! I travel a lot which makes having a dog or cat of my own hard, so being able to care for my friends pets allows me to get that animal therapy I need! I’ve had their pets in my home, or I’ve stayed at their place to watch them if their pet feels more comfortable in their own home. I love going for walks, and spending as much time with them as I can :) I’ve had pets my entire life - dogs, ferrets, and Guinea pigs. But as of now we don’t have any pets. My husband and I stayed at an animal rescue in Colombia, and it was truly paradise to be surrounded by so many dogs and cats that just wanted to be loved! We also pet sat our entire year in New Zealand (using kiwi housesitters). While I’m in Edmonton I’m free all day! End of May I will be working casual as a sonographer in Nanaimo. I will have some days off but some days I will be out of the house from 7-4. So your pet would have to be okay being alone some days. But you can message me to see if they are days where I am not working. Lots of walks and play time provided! About: I am an avid animal lover and have experience with fur babies of all shapes and sizes, from cats and dogs to horses. I know a great deal about how to care for your fur babies from brushing coats and teeth to what kinds of snacks should be avoided. I am able to look after multiple animals and can cater to those who may need a little more attention than others. Don't worry if your fur baby is high energy! I grew up with a boarder collie mix and can run with the best of them! I also work very well with puppies - I've taken courses on obedience and puppy training for my own dogs in the past. I'm looking forward to meeting your little (or big) furry loved one! I'm currently working part-time so I have a ton of time to spend with pets! Most of my day is spent working on projects from home and snuggling with my cat. We have a large, fenced-in yard that is perfectly safe for pups to roam through as well as a house with lots of space. Someone is always home so there will never be a moment when your fur baby is left unsupervised.
About: Hi 👋🏻 We’re Lauren, Julian and Ruairidh. We’re a Scottish/British family who have recently moved to Canada from the UK. When we moved we had to leave behind our senior, unwell hound called Jimmy who we miss loads 😢. We provided dog sitting services on Rover in the UK so we thought we could do it here too to get our doggy fix. We miss having paws around the place, but we’re not ready to commit to a dog of our own just yet 🐾 I’m a nurse (of humans!) which I’ve been doing in the UK for the last 17 years so I’m very used to being responsible for and caring for others. I’ll be primarily responsible for your dog, but my husband and toddler will want to get involved too! Ruairidh knows where we keep the dog toys and treats!! For our jobs (and recently for immigration purposes) we’ve had full criminal record checks, we’ve also done online doggy first aid courses so you know your dog is in safe hands with us 😊 We’re looking forward to meeting your doggy! 🐶🤎 Previously had loads of 5⭐️ reviews and we were star sitters on our Rover UK account. My current circumstances allow me to be extremely flexible regarding bookings, I’m happy to consider last minute bookings and can offer pick up/drop off if required (distance depending). I’ve got lots of time to play with your dog, head to dog parks or explore walking trails. I have a fenced yard and I’m a stones throw away from an off lead dog park. About: I’ve had a dog before and am aware of how to care for it, walks and outside bathroom use, I am able to go for walks. I’m currently a full time student at the University of Alberta in the Education program. Therefore I am quite busy! However I am looking to make a little bit of income, I am free nights after 3pm and anytime on the weekend. I have a fenced yard as my cats like to explore outside, I do have one outside cat who explores on his own but comes home whenever he pleases. When opening the door I’m well aware of the area and making sure the cats that aren’t outdoor don’t run out. I ensure my kitty’s water bowl is also filled up and litter boxes are clean.
About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own pets with sizes ranging from house cats to a 110lbs Bernese Mountain Dog! On a daily basis I make sure our senior dog gets his medication, is walked twice daily, and gets at least one toy play session. In addition to keeping him calm when the dementia is bad and helping him move around when his hip is acting up. I'd be happy to give the same care and attention to your beloved pets! Services I Provided: Taking your dogs for walks/runs, visits to the dog park, throwing the ball for them. I also do home visits to makes sure they get bathroom breaks, food, water, and take their medication. I am generally available Monday-Saturday nearly anytime between 8am and 5pm for up to 2 hours at a time. I'm self-employed out of my office in Sherwood Park on a flexible schedule allowing me to do visits anywhere within Sherwood Park or the east side of Edmonton as needed. I currently have a senior dog who needs a little extra care. I understand the importance of making sure we follow your pets needs and limits. I'll work with you to create a personalized safe plan to make sure they get the activity they need while being well taken care of.
