About: We bred dogs in our family home growing up. I’m comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds of dogs. I’ve always lived with a dog and dogs are naturally drawn toward me! I’m available during the day, evenings and anytime on the weekends! (Excluding Monday evening, Tuesday mornings and Thursdays mornings). Please reach out so we can organize and look at both of our calendars! Each animal requires a unique style of care. I care for my pets closely around their personality and most importantly I make exercise, mental stimulation and affection a priority. As well as quality nutrition. I prefer to shy away from unhealthy treats as I value the longevity and health of my pet companions!

About: Missing going on walks with my labs on the farm. Would love to give some doggies care and exercise —my cat is NOT about the leash life. I work on the South side 7:00-3:30, Monday to Friday. Available for both early morning and evening walks on weekdays. Available anytime during the weekend. I have experience with many different breeds and temperaments of dogs, as I used to volunteer at the Edmonton Humane Society dog walking the shelter dogs. I do have a fenced yard if off leash time is better suited for your dog. Felix (my cat) can attest he gets all the attention but I also know when he wants personal space. Cats know what they want.

About: IN EDMONTON FROM APRIL 30 to MAY 18 :) can take house sitting, dog walking and drop ins. Moving to Nanaimo end of May and will be house/pet sitting until I get settled in. Only house sitting, dock walking and drop in visits available. I am the go to for many friends and family for pet sitting! I travel a lot which makes having a dog or cat of my own hard, so being able to care for my friends pets allows me to get that animal therapy I need! I’ve had their pets in my home, or I’ve stayed at their place to watch them if their pet feels more comfortable in their own home. I love going for walks, and spending as much time with them as I can :) I’ve had pets my entire life - dogs, ferrets, and Guinea pigs. But as of now we don’t have any pets. My husband and I stayed at an animal rescue in Colombia, and it was truly paradise to be surrounded by so many dogs and cats that just wanted to be loved! We also pet sat our entire year in New Zealand (using kiwi housesitters). While I’m in Edmonton I’m free all day! End of May I will be working casual as a sonographer in Nanaimo. I will have some days off but some days I will be out of the house from 7-4. So your pet would have to be okay being alone some days. But you can message me to see if they are days where I am not working. Lots of walks and play time provided! As long as I have all the instructions needed to care for your pet, your fur baby is in good hands! I treat each pet as if they were my own.

About: Hi! My name is Caitlyn I am 31 years old and I owned a Pug and Pit bull, but since my pugs recent passing I only have Tank my Pit bull. I love animals and want to spend a little extra time with them. I work from home currently, so I am available during the day to hangout with your pups. *Please read below regarding a change to my remote schedule* Please keep in mind after June 1st I will be in the office again, and will be out of the house from 7am to 5:30pm pending traffic and commute. I'm also open to any senior dogs or puppies with much experience in handling both, and of course any breed! I am open to house sitting, dog walking or even just checking in as well. Primarily I do overnight stays at your place! I’m available to stay at your place to watch your pet(s) and can do check ins as well. I can be available during the day as well. Please keep in mind I start a job in the office June 1st. So I will be away for longer strides for my daily commute after that date. Typically 7am to 5:30pm. Before June 1st I will be home all day with the pets. I unfortunately can’t sit any pets at my place! But I always make sure to follow rules you set out for me, and ensure the requests that you’ve made while I’m staying at your place are all met.

About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. I don't have any pets of my own besides the 2 dogs and cat at my moms that stayed with my family when I moved out. I like to engage with the animals, if I'm coming to your house or otherwise to care for your animal I want them to feel seen and loved in the stressful moments while the most important people in their life are away.

About: I currently have a 9 year old beagle that I have had since she was a puppy. That in itself should show how much patience I have for dogs, lol. If you k ow beagles, you know how what I am talking about. I work at a school and am available anytime for before work after school care. Just like children, lol. I am available all summer as well. I have one dog at home who is super spoiled but loves yo play with other dogs. I can do dog sitting in my home. My yard is fenced.

About: I have had many personal experiences with pups over 10 years not in a daycare. But sitting on occasion but it’s my passion to work with them I’m calm and gentle and respect the animals they have feelings too I’m currently not working otherwise but may get another part time job but as of now I have so much time for the pups and always will make the time. I can work variety of shifts including weekends. I’m going to be doing pet sitting in clients home so again staying calm respecting them and being gentle! Letting them out to use washroom maybe even walks

About: I'm a university student spending my summer doing what I love - caring for animals. Between part-time jobs, pet care has become my favourite way to stay connected to animals and earn a little extra, and I bring real enthusiasm to every visit. I've been around animals my whole life. I had my dog for 9 years, and my childhood cat lived to an incredible 21 years old... so I'm completely comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and routines, from high-energy puppies to senior animals who need a gentler touch. Beyond my own pets, I have hands-on experience with drop-in visits and care for other people's dogs and cats. I have a returning client whose cat and dog I've looked after multiple times while they travel. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I always keep owners in the loop with photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. As an outdoors person who loves walking and running, I'm especially great with active dogs who need real exercise (not just a quick lap around the block). That said, I'm just as happy with a calm check-in, a cuddle session, and a cozy afternoon for pets who prefer it lowkey. I currently work part-time and keep my Rover calendar updated regularly to reflect my availability. I’m generally available Fridays and Saturdays, and I’m also happy to take bookings on additional days off throughout the week as my schedule allows. I understand the importance of reliability and communication, so I make sure to keep my availability updated week-to-week and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. Whether it’s a scheduled walk, drop-in visit, or last-minute check-in, I aim to provide dependable care and flexibility whenever possible. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and attentive care while keeping pets comfortable in their usual routine and environment. During walks, I pay close attention to safety, leash handling, traffic, and each dog’s individual temperament and energy level. I’m also comfortable with active dogs and happy to provide longer walks or runs when needed. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, food if needed, bathroom breaks, attention, and companionship while keeping the home secure and tidy. I value clear communication and provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: Having owned two wonderful dogs in my life and been a special friend & "aunt" of several other dogs and some cats. I am highly experienced and motivated to help you care for your beloved furry family members. I am warm, friendly and calm around animals and I find they are naturally drawn to me. I am trained in reiki and use gental reiki energy to balance and relax your pets in your absence. I do contract work and I am writing a book, so my time is flexible and I am available to spend quality time with your pets. As a sitter who would be in your home, caring for your pets, I would be able to follow your established schedule in order to cause the least distress and or disruption for your pets.

About: One of my previous jobs was at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am Fear Free certified, which means your dogs will always be treated with kindness and care. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I never encountered a dog I couldn't handle or get through to. I truly believe that there are no bad dogs. I am currently a student part time at NAIT and am looking for some income and movement in-between my online classes. I am available around 6 hours a day for walking, and am very flexible with my schedule and time. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly golden retriever who's good with cats and dogs. I also have 4 cats that are all cat and dog friendly as well. It's a bit of a zoo but everyone is happy and healthy. I always say the animals eat better than we do.

About: I grew up on an acreage and have cared for animals my entire life. I began pet sitting for others early on, including for a veterinarian family, caring for dogs, cats, horses, fish, and a variety of other animals. I am currently a student at the U of A where I am studying Animal Health with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. I offer pet sitting, dog-walking, feeding/watering, exercise and daily care tailored to each animal's individual needs. I currently work part-time and volunteer at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital on Friday/Saturdays until 5pm. Whenever I pet/house sit at a clients home, I maintain and clean and organized environment. I prioritize cleaning up after not just the pets but myself included. About: I have had small dogs all my life, and am also a proud Cat mom to 3 beautiful felines. My passion for animals has always been strong, and I have previously worked at Petsmart as a Pet care associate, caring for many small animals. I've babysat for friends/families dogs over several years, and am comfortable bathing&brushing if needed. Your dog will always have clean water on hand,and I believe long walks and fresh air are a NECESSITY, and a wonderful way for bonding. I love to play catch or play chase, whatever hobby your pup loves the most. Their happiness is of utmost importance. Does your dog love snuggles and pets??? I will make certain they get all the love they can handle. For boarding, I live in a townhouse, there is not a fenced yard, but there is a dog run just behind the parking lot for very easy access for potty breaks. I am home 24/7 for supervision and can provide as many walks your pup needs. There are tons of parks nearby and big spaces to run. No walk is boring for me, if they are sniffers, great. If they are barkers, no problem! If they like to cruise, you bet I can keep up. I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have! I'm an open book. I have also completed my Canadian Red Cross certification for all your pets emergency needs - CPR, Choking, wound care Some other information about me. I have been a Pharmacy assistant the past 16 years and have worked in hospitality caring for people and helping their health journeys. I have also worked as a Casual housekeeper at the Grey nuns. I am currently not working and am available at all times to care for your pet! Whether that's extremely early wake ups or late nights, Im your girl!! I am home 24/7 with no children, so my animals are my passion. They have constant supervision and play. Attention is definitely not lacking in this household. If your dog requires crating, I will make sure to do so. I have my Canadian Red Cross certification for all your pets emergency needs including CPR&Choking and wound care.
