“I am avwry happy with Eunji. She's on time and sends lots of videos and photos and updates when she comes over. My dog Nigel loves her and I recommend Eunji to everyone who's looking for a dog sitter.”

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have experience caring for many different types of pets. Along with my two dogs, I’ve spent years pet sitting dogs and cats for family friends and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, sizes, and needs. I’ve also previously owned a bearded dragon and lots of fish, so I’m comfortable learning and following care routines for animals beyond just cats and dogs. I’m responsible, patient, and very attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I genuinely love animals and take pride in making sure they feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work part time and I’m in school but I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays after 2pm. I’m also available anytime on Saturdays but I’m only available on Sunday evenings :) I treat every client’s home and pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I follow all instructions closely, keep pets safe and supervised, and make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. I’m attentive to changes in a pet’s behaviour or health and will communicate with the owner if anything seems unusual. I also respect the home by keeping things clean, being mindful of belongings, and making sure everything is as it was when I arrived.
“Harleen was fantastic! We had a unique situation, visiting our daughter from our of tiwn. We needed someone to care for our pup while we took our daughter out for dinner. Harleen had super communication before and during her stay with Tashi. We highly recommend Harleen and would absolutely contact again when visiting.”

About: I grew up with dogs, we had a family dog ever since I was 12. He is no longer with us but I’d love to be around dogs again. I work from home, so I’d have lots of time to let them out to use the washroom and to feed them. I also like going for walks and runs, I would love a dog to bring with me. I would take extra care of your pets by checking up on them and making sure I feed them at their normal times and playing with them to enrich their environment.
“Ava was excellent! She was quick and easy to communicate with and she took great care of our boys while we were exploring Sicamous and the Wineries! Would love to have her again when we return for another vacation! Highly recommend.”

“Niki took care of my pet for an entire week - 2 drop ins per day. She has been amazing, sent me updates and pictures. Very reliable and nice! Highly recommend. Easy to communicate with.”

“Madalynn was excellent. I have a very anxious, jumpy Great Dane that Madalynn met, and she was very calm about his frustration and anxiety. She worked with him using treats and was able to settle him. She never showed any fear at all! I will have her back again!”

About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. I don't have any pets of my own besides the 2 dogs and cat at my moms that stayed with my family when I moved out. I like to engage with the animals, if I'm coming to your house or otherwise to care for your animal I want them to feel seen and loved in the stressful moments while the most important people in their life are away.
About: I've owned pets for over 20 years. I have recent experience with puppy training and senior care. I've had my own cats and now a small dog. I'll treat your animals like my own and want them to be as happy as can be. I recently lost my cat of 18 years which broke my heart. I can't have another cat at the moment but I'd love to take care of yours! I love my little dog very much and I'd love to give your pet the care that it needs during the times you can't. I'm currently in graduate school a couple evenings per week and on Saturday mornings. My schedule is pretty flexible and I'm excited to meet your lovely pets! I have a flexible schedule, reliable vehicle, and am a trustworthy person. I have a small dog at home with a fenced in yard and she loves meeting new friends!
About: I grew up on an acreage and have cared for animals my entire life. I began pet sitting for others early on, including for a veterinarian family, caring for dogs, cats, horses, fish, and a variety of other animals. I am currently a student at the U of A where I am studying Animal Health with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. I offer pet sitting, dog-walking, feeding/watering, exercise and daily care tailored to each animal's individual needs. I currently work part-time and attend University classes at the UofA for Animal Health. However this still allows me lots of free time to direct towards pet sitting and with communication I am very open to discussing scheduling. Whenever I pet/house sit at a clients home, I maintain and clean and organized environment. I prioritize cleaning up after not just the pets but myself included. I always follow rules and instructions for certain things as well in order to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
About: I’ve had dogs in my house since I was very little. I’ve had puppies all the way up to our current senior dogs, one who is losing his vision and hearing. I enjoy walking and will treat your dog as my own. I work from home part time on a very limited/flexible schedule and have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry companion. I look forward to scheduling with you on a regular basis to fit your needs. Our dogs are given the best treatment. We train tricks and routines and remove bad behaviours only through positive reinforcement. One of our current dogs is a rescue dog and we have supported her in this manner.
“I have used Anick more than once for my two cats, both elderly. I have found them to be content and in good spirits after being away - even after a week of absence. Anick took good care of their food, litter and attention needs - my cats need a lot of attention. I found they showed all the signs of getting good quality attention while I was gone.”

“Mikaila was excellent with our diabetic kitty Ringo. I appreciated the cute updates and photos. Our first experience with Rover and I quite nervous but was a great experience. I do not hesitate to recommend.”

“We couldn't be happier with Tracy's work, she definitely knows how to take care of our doggies, they just loved her, we will for sure use her services again in the future, her updates and pictures gave us the peace of mind so that we could enjoy our trip knowing our pets were being taken care of professionally”

“Sophie very clearly has a love of animals, shown through her willingness to help us with our kitties who weren't quite getting along when she came for visits during the long weekend. She kept us updated throughout our time away, and made a point to make some recommendations for things for us to try to get them feeling comfortable around each other again. Sophie further made sure to reach out and arrange a meet-and-greet, working us in to her busy schedule despite our short notice. Thanks again!”

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
