“Ava was excellent! She was quick and easy to communicate with and she took great care of our boys while we were exploring Sicamous and the Wineries! Would love to have her again when we return for another vacation! Highly recommend.”

“This is our second time having Anick watch our two cats and I couldn’t recommend her enough! She’s been great with them and I feel relaxed knowing they’re in good hands while we’re away. I love her updates and pictures after each visit, they’re very detailed and you can tell she really cares about the pets. Thank you Anick!”

“We really appreciated her patience with Benji. He was very shy and nervous with someone new, but she took her time, sat on the floor to help him feel comfortable, and never rushed him. Even though he wasn't ready for a walk, she made sure he had a chance to go outside and kept us updated throughout the visit. We'd happily book with her again.”

“Madalynn was excellent. I have a very anxious, jumpy Great Dane that Madalynn met, and she was very calm about his frustration and anxiety. She worked with him using treats and was able to settle him. She never showed any fear at all! I will have her back again!”

“Mikaila was excellent with our diabetic kitty Ringo. I appreciated the cute updates and photos. Our first experience with Rover and I quite nervous but was a great experience. I do not hesitate to recommend.”

About: I am flexible with all my services, including house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have several years’ experience with dog walking and house sitting (including drop-in style), and I am an athlete so I have the physical strength necessary to handle large dogs. I am currently a professional volleyball player so while I’m not overseas I really enjoy leaving space in my schedule to dog sit! I have completed an internship position at a wildlife rehabilitation facility (WildNorth) and have a degree in conservation biology, so I am very passionate about animals! Growing up with multiple pets, I learned early on how to appreciate and handle them. I have also raised and trained a puppy myself, and I’m an amateur training enthusiast. I would love to meet your pet and I hope you consider me for your pet care needs! I’m currently coaching volleyball part time so I’m typically free most of the time. The longest I typically would have to leave your dog alone is for 2.5 hours when I have a couple coaching sessions. I always communicate clearly what the expectations are for care, such as how your dog is on leash, if I need to watch for any escape artists, or any other concerns or quirks your dog may have!
About: I love dogs so much that I earned my diploma in Canine Behavior! Every step of the way, I use my science-based background to help ensure your dog has a positive experience. I’m a very patient person and work especially well with shy or timid dogs that need a gentle presence and a little extra time to learn to trust someone new. I love a morning and midday time slot as it allows me to work part time with my other commitments! I may have weeks with more or less availability so message me and we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us! Because of my background in Canine Behavior, I use positive reinforcement techniques when caring for pets in both my home and clients’ homes. I take a proactive approach to behavior by paying attention to what may be causing stress, excitement, or unwanted behaviors so I can help set pets up for success. I tailor my care to each individual animal. Whether that means offering snuggles and reassurance, using treats and rewards, or encouraging polite behaviors in gentle, consistent ways. For example, if a dog jumps up, I wait until they’re calmly seated before greeting them so I can reinforce calm behavior in the future.

“Sarah-Beth was amazing with our dog, Tuck. We had her take him for walks every two days while our brother was watching him when we were away in Italy to help ease the work load. It helped us enjoy our trip stress free knowing that he was in good hands and getting some extra exercise and attention. Sarah-Beth sent photos every check in so we could see how happy Tuck was when he was with her. She was very confident in dealing with him as he is a bigger dog. With some reactivity issues we had our concerns but with a meet and greet before we left, Sarah-Beth eased our minds with her knowledge and expertise. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs she has the opportunity to work with. I HIGHLY recommend Sarah-Beth to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet.”

Jasmine was great! She helped us out with a last minute booking and even drove quite a distance to our acreage, which we really appreciated. She took great care of our three dogs and two cats, and they were always so happy to see her each day. We recommend Jasmine and would definitely book with her again!

It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
