“Christina was wonderful! I had a change in my top last minute and she was able to come check on my babies. Her response time is awesome, she has great communication and I loved the photo updates. I highly recommend her to take care of your pets!!”

About: Having owned two wonderful dogs in my life and been a special friend & "aunt" of several other dogs and some cats. I am highly experienced and motivated to help you care for your beloved furry family members. I am warm, friendly and calm around animals and I find they are naturally drawn to me. I am trained in reiki and use gental reiki energy to balance and relax your pets in your absence. I do contract work and I am writing a book, so my time is flexible and I am available to spend quality time with your pets. As a sitter who would be in your home, caring for your pets, I would be able to follow your established schedule in order to cause the least distress and or disruption for your pets.
About: I have over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for my own cockapoo, a 30-pound, high-energy dog who taught me more than I expected. Early on, he pulled on the leash and got easily distracted around other dogs, so I worked through leash training and gradually introduced him to dog parks to build his confidence and social skills. I adapted his exercise routine over time, adding frisbee and fetch to match his energy level. Beyond my own dog, I stepped in for a family friend under emergency circumstances, which taught me how to stay calm under pressure, follow an unfamiliar routine carefully, and pick up on what a dog needs quickly. I confirmed the emergency vet location and sent photo updates within the first hour. During the summer I have full daytime availability. During the school year I am available on evenings and weekends. I typically respond to messages within 24 hours. The safety and comfort of every pet in my care is my first priority. In a client's home I follow all provided instructions carefully, double-check leashes, doors, and outdoor areas, confirm the nearest emergency vet, and send a photo update within the first hour so owners feel reassured from the start.
About: I have had pets in my home since I was a child and pets gravitate towards me. I would love to take your dog for a walk and fetch in the park, or take care of them overnight. My dog & I frequently enjoy hours together in the river valley and he would love a companion. If you’re not comfortable with that (though he is a sweetheart), I can walk your pup solo! I’ll always be sure to have water on hand, and if permitted, treats! You can rest assured that your dog (or cat or ferret) will be safe and happy in my care. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I will be happy to give you anymore relevant information! I work evenings and weekend brunches at a restaurant, so I can walk your dog any day of the week! Usually available same day for last minute needs I live in a gated community downtown so your pet would be safe in my home. I also drive a Ford escape so there’s plenty of space for multiple dogs in my vehicle for transportation to walks.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up around dogs and has been caring for cats for the past 7 years. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm currently unemployed so I'm mostly available at any time, but once I'm back at work, I can easily fit into my schedule no problem. Animals don't scare me, we just need to give them some space and respect their boundaries. Being calm around them always helps so they know they're not under threat.
About: I am an educator that has gone to peoples homes to work with children. My favourite part is all of the different pets I get to see which they all love me. I work part time for the county doing customer service and tutor sometimes in the evenings. I can be gone from 6-8 hours on some days or home all day depending on my schedule. I love to spend all of my free time cuddling with pets or going on walks ❤️. I am a very clean individual and so I always like to make sure I leave it just as clean when I leave. Not only that but I always ensure that I give focus to animals, playing with them frequently, going on walks (if cats like it I do walks for them too!), and of course taking care of their needs.
“Andrea is amazing, we love her and more importantly Bee loves her, she’s so polite, clean, caring, patient, and active with our pup! Lots of walks and snuggles. 11/10 awesome”

About: One of my previous jobs was at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am Fear Free certified, which means your dogs will always be treated with kindness and care. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I never encountered a dog I couldn't handle or get through to. I truly believe that there are no bad dogs. I am currently a student part time at NAIT and am looking for some income and movement in-between my online classes. I am available around 6 hours a day for walking, and am very flexible with my schedule and time. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly golden retriever who's good with cats and dogs. I also have 4 cats that are all cat and dog friendly as well. It's a bit of a zoo but everyone is happy and healthy. I always say the animals eat better than we do.
About: I own a pitbull chocolate lab mix, hes a rescue and is my joy in life. I've taught him manners and made him many friends, he and I are always in the market for new dog friends! I own a dog so walks daily lots of snuggles and bring him to see his friends almost daily. And the park as often as possible. I live in a house with my dog, we hangout outside, go for walks, the park, and we play outback in the yard, and wrestling, sometimes ice cream treats on hot days!
About: Hi, I am Morgan. I have been an animal person my entire life, and I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone new. I also know the trust it takes to have someone in your home. My goal is always to make both you and your dog feel completely safe, comfortable, and supported. My four year old Labradoodle Chunk is my constant companion. He is friendly, social, calm inside the home, and gets along well with other dogs. He does come with me because he is attached to me, but he is easy, respectful, and adjusts well to new environments. The only thing to note is that he is not good with cats. I have a flexible schedule and a lot of time to dedicate to your dog. I drive and have an SUV, so walks, outings, and dog park visits are a normal part of our day. I usually take Chunk out three to five times daily, and I will match whatever routine works best for your pet. I have experience with puppies, seniors, administering medication, following detailed routines, and supporting dogs with different personalities and needs. I know how important consistency is, and I am committed to keeping your dog’s environment calm, familiar, and stress free. Respect for your home is very important to me. I am extremely clean and organized, and I will treat your space with the same care and attention I give my own. You will receive regular updates, photos, and videos so you always feel connected and at ease. I have references and years of experience caring for animals. If you are looking for someone loving, reliable, and attentive, I would love to connect and see if we are a good fit for you and your dog. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because Chunk and I already go on multiple walks every day. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog consistent attention, exercise, and company throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your dog’s routine closely to keep things familiar and stress free. I am extremely clean and respectful in any home I stay in, and I always make sure your dog feels calm, secure, and cared for the entire time you are away.

About: Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve shared my home with beloved cats for most of my adult life. Over the years I’ve also co-habited with small and medium dogs, cared for senior pets, and supported many animals through the last gentle stages of their lives. My professional background is in environmental science (35 years), a path I chose out of love and devotion to animals, wildlife, and the natural world. Outside of work, I spent years volunteering with animals — from supporting elephants and reptiles at the Valley Zoo to caring for over 70 elephants at an orphanage in Sri Lanka. I even trained one elephant, Devi, to paint using positive reinforcement. I’ve also cared for small exotic pets, including ball pythons and a garter snake. Today, I bring all of that experience into calm, compassionate, reliable pet care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’m gentle, observant, patient, and very attuned to the emotional needs of animals — especially seniors or those who are shy, anxious, or needing extra support. Skills & Care Abilities: Administering medications with confidence: pills, injections, liquid meds via syringe, and puffers for dogs and cats Handling senior or special-needs pets with patience and gentleness Cat nail trims Dog bathing and brushing; cat brushing (hairless cat bathing and grooming) Experience with freshwater and saltwater aquariums Comfortable with reptiles and other small animals Master Gardener/Composter certified (City of Edmonton) — happy to care for plants, yards, and gardens as well Calm, confident, experienced around all animal personalities Clear communication and daily updates I’m recently retired, which allows me to offer steady, unhurried, fully present care for the animals I look after. When I’m not volunteering in Asia or Costa Rica, I work quietly from home doing computer-based volunteer work — which means your pet will have company, consistency, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to take dogs out for frequent walks, playtime, and pee breaks, tailored to their age and energy level. I’m equally happy to spend long, calm stretches with small dogs or cats curled up on my lap. I genuinely enjoy the simple companionship of animals, whether that means gentle snuggles, quiet presence, or attentive support for senior pets needing extra patience. My home routine is calm, predictable, and nurturing — ideal for pets who thrive with kindness, attentiveness, and a steady rhythm. Because I specialise in caring for cats and small dogs in their own familiar environment, my focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and reassuring experience for your pet while you’re away. In Your Home (House Sitting & In-Home Care) Your pet’s comfort and routine come first. I follow your instructions closely — feeding times, walks, medications, bedtime rituals, favourite toys, and comfort preferences. I maintain a quiet, predictable environment, and I am attentive to small changes in behaviour, appetite, or energy level. I double-check doors, gates, and windows to prevent escapes I ensure safe handling during comings and goings I keep a tidy, hazard-free space I send regular updates with photos so you always feel connected I provide lots of gentle companionship, cuddles, lap time, and enrichment Cats and small dogs often bond quickly with me due to my calm presence and decades of experience. Drop-In Visits For drop-ins, I offer flexible, attentive care — feeding, litter cleaning, short walks, medication administration, brushing, playtime, or simply quiet company if your pet prefers. I take care to observe how your pet is feeling each visit and adjust my approach accordingly. Overall Approach With lifelong experience with animals — including senior pets, pets needing medication, and shy or anxious animals — I bring patience, reliability, and a gentle, steady energy. My background in environmental science and animal care has taught me to be observant, respectful, and attentive to detail. Your home and your pet are treated with the utmost care, respect, and kindness.

I am able to stay with them if needed! I can care for your pets in your home . I would love to feed and take your dog for a walk and play with your cat. I am comfortable with all animals !
“Hannah was very responsive and attentive during the sitting service. Hannah followed a lot of instructions well. Grooming my two medium-hairs daily was very important and I appreciated Hannah's willingness to take the time to do it. Hannah will spend the time needed to properly care for your animals and I would happily hire this sitter again.”

About: My name is Tanya and I'm 24 years old. I grew up with dogs so now that I'm at college without them it feels super lonely. I have experience with small and large dogs as I've raised a dachshund and a german shepherd since they were puppies. I can care for younger as well as senior dogs. please let me know of any special needs or any supplementary/dietary requirements that your dog has. I am currently going to school full time but I have full availability on the weekends as well as Tuesdays. I am also able to drop in and accommodate walks in the evenings all week. I do not prefer having your dogs off-leash outside since i am unsure if they would return to me. and that could raise some safety concerns. However, i am happy to accommodate that upon request, provided that you are confident in your pets recall.
About: I have been around animals my whole life. In elementary school, I would be greeted by our farm cats as soon as I got home. After a quick pet or cuddle with each of them, I would refill their water and food bowls and sit with the bigger cuddlers for as long as I could. In secondary school, I trained our family puppy - from obedience to competing in agility competitions. I loved watching him learn new tricks and never forget the basics, even as a senior dog and with me living away from him. While in university, I kept animals in my life by volunteering at the local SPCA. I loved the bigger dogs, and my heart broke if I ever saw them afraid of other dogs or humans. Helping them through their rehabilitation was an honour. As an adult, I adopted an orange tabby, "Naranjito." Jito, as we call him, is celebrating 17 human years as of 2026. He sleeps a bit more, and needs an extra step to jump sometimes, but he's still strong enough to put his BIGGER 2-year-old spicy sister in her place when she attacks him in play. With only one cat, I craved helping more, and did some pet care for others in my 20s. This involved bird-sitting, and dog-walking. A friend asked me to take in her older cat when she had a family illness. "Sally The Cat" was the embodiment of love. She had diabetes, but would still purr through her blood tests and insulin injections. This made me more comfortable with taking care of more serious health issues. Our current family dog has epilepsy and allergies. His first seizure was a month after his adoption, and was pretty scary - for all of us. I quickly became the person in the family to stay with him through it, and comfort him back to his normal self afterwards. With him, I have become comfortable with giving pills, and asking for veterinary help when needed. I love all animals, but I get to spend my life caring for cats and dogs. I am working part-time, but I have some mornings, a couple evenings, and most weekends available to care for others' pets outside of my home. I have been called "too trusting" in my past... but this has luckily never injured me in a serious way. In fact, the worst thing is realizing that my standard of trustworthiness is NOT universal... but that has made me more skeptical of others when it really matters. Caring for your pet is something that requires a lot of trust of me, and I appreciate your skepticism. I wouldn't leave my fur-babies with just anyone, too. Training dogs when I was younger made me much more aware of body language and different personalities. I am always watching for potential stressors or safety issues. I love giving dogs the freedom of an off-leash area, but would have to trust that they will listen to me before being comfortable with any safety risks involved with that.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Zoe. She did drop-in visits for our four cats over two weeks and truly went above and beyond in every way. Her communication was excellent—she provided detailed notes after each visit along with lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Zoe also took amazing care of our home. She even shoveled when it snowed and brought in packages that arrived while we were gone, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we returned, the house smelled fresh and clean—not like litter at all—which says so much about the level of care she put in. We would absolutely recommend Zoe to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring pet sitter.”

Lyndsay is amazing. Our dogs love her, and she goes above and beyond. Quick to connect and send updates. Her pictures are also top notch! I can't thank Lyndsay enough for everything that came up while she was doing her visits, how she handled it all, and just how fantastic she is.
