As I have mentioned, I do not offer 24/7 care as I work full time, so during my stay I can/will kennel if able. But not before a bathroom break and a walk! If you have a yard there will be no outside with out any supervision, unless told otherwise. When it comes to walking for safety, I do keep extra poop bags, treats and an extra leash if needed! Also for walking, if your dog has certain FOCUS queues, do not hesitate to mention, as they help when crossing paths with others!

About: I’d love to care for your pup with walks, visits, or overnight hang-outs! I work from home most of the time (setting my own schedule for days in the office) and will be able to spend tons of time with your pup with very few and flexible exceptions. We have our own pup, a young golden retriever who is very social and confident and silly. He plays and gets along really well with other dogs! Dogs who are well behaved, relaxed, and mellow are my favourite, but I love pups who have more energy as long as they listen really well and are gentle and kind :) We can go for walks in our quiet and safe neighbourhood and in the huge field outside our front door, and we can hangout together in our paved and closed off backyard! We are pretty mellow people and love having a pup around to walk and adventure with and to snuggle and chill with. I do not take dogs who do not walk well on a leash (unrelenting pulling is a no-go, but they also don’t have to be perfect or beside me the whole time - they can certainly sniff and explore and enjoy themselves), who are loud (consistent barking or whining), who have destructive separation anxiety, or who are aggressive with or have issues with other dogs or people (reactivity). If you’re in need of a sitter for a longer duration, it’s best if your dog would be comfortable in an office environment where other dogs may be present. It’s easier to accommodate longer stays if I can bring them with me to work, though I am able to work from home any time and certainly over shorter stays. Safety is my top priority followed closely by having fun! When outside I’ll keep your dog on a leash unless we are hanging out together in our closed off backyard.

About: I have worked at the Edmonton Humane society where I learned how to care and clean after dogs and cats. I have taken a introduction dog behavior course that has helped me become aware on how to do basic training but most importantly read their body language. I'm currently working part time right now so I have plenty of time to focus on your pets. My schedule is not a set schedule so I do need to know ahead of time. I will make sure to follow your rules exactly, I will always keep your dog on a leash when we go on a walk. And I will never give them any treat or food you do not approve of.

About: I have been caring for creatures big and small my whole life, wild or domestic. I recently decided to go back to school to become a nurse and this summer break has made a perfect opportunity to reopen my home for dogs and other animals. Earlier in the year we lost our beloved ol dog, Maya. It has been truly wonderful to have dog energy back in our home again. I have an amazing family that also loves animals and helps out (especially with cuddles). I am able to provide lots of love, attention and exercise, in a clean and safe environment. We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we're best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours during the workday. Every dog gets a morning walk before we leave, an evening walk when we're home, and lots of love and attention afterward. On weekends we're home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions exactly as requested. We treat every dog like a member of our family and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands.
