“Cindy was perfect and did a great job looking after my senior dog, Lacy. The plane was delayed almost 9 hours and she kindly stayed with Lacy until her bedtime. Lacy was sleeping soundly when I arrived at home at six am. If I ever have to leave Lacy overnight I will definitely call on Cindy.”

“Andrea is such a wonderful pet sitter! She took the time to meet our pup beforehand, and was so calm and patient as our anxious and shy pup became comfortable with her. While pet-sitting, she sent us updates with lots of pictures and we could tell that our pup adored her! We would absolutely recommend Andrea!”

“We recently used Robin to care for our 15 year old senior Pomeranian. She was incredible. Not only was she punctual, but she sent daily updates and photos of our girl while we were away. She administered her medication with zero issues as well. Gave her all the belly rubs and treats. After she left and we arrived home we noticed our old girl looking for Robin. Highly recommend and we will be using her again. Thanks Robin!”

“Very happy with the care that Keira took of my two boys while I was away. Returned to happy pets and a clean house! I can rest easy knowing that they are in great hands when I can't be there.”

“Absolutely amazing. I have my Vet med assisting, have worked in a emergency setting for 4 years and also I have worked in dog daycare, so to say the least nothing feels good enough for my pets.... EXCEPT ZOE shes phenomenal and I highly recommend even if your catnor dog need medication. I have 3 kitten babies and 2 dogs at completely different stages and Im wowed by her.”

“Caitlin was great! She sent updates on how our dogs were doing and checked in with any questions. Left our house well cared for, and I felt comfortable leaving my dogs with her.”

“We had booked Catherine in the past for drop-in visits when we had to leave home for a few days, and when we saw how well our grumpy cat did, we were confident that during our longer absence for an out-of-town wedding, Catherine would ensure that both our cats would get the love and care they needed. We were happy to see that through all the updates that we were sent, Catherine not only went above and beyond our expectations in caring for our two girls (one of which is very temperamental and territorial, and perpetually grumpy), but was even accept into our grumpy cat's "family" when she was presented with a gift from a hunt one evening. If you are ever concerned about your cat receiving the same quality of care you give to your most precious pets, you will be happy to know that Catherine will go above and beyond to not only care for your pets, but give them the attention and love they deserve. My wife and I joke that only true cat people can appreciate our old grumpy girl because she is not a typical cat that enjoys company, but we were surprised to see how relaxed she was around Catherine. I highly recommend Catherine, as she not only follows directions for care, but takes time to meet your pet where they are comfortable, and ensure their boundaries are understood and respected. If ever we are able to, we would give preference to use Catherine's services again in the future.”

“Thadora took awesome care of my pup for 11 days! She was very communicative and sent photos every day! Tito loves her so much I don’t even think he misses me. She also left the house even neater than it was when I left. 100 stars!!”

“Carmen was a phenomenal sitter in every possible way. She took care of our cat, Karl, and our home like it was her own. Carmen is kind and communicative and made sure to take extra good care of our cat while we were gone. We especially appreciated the pictures and updates throughout our trip. We would have her back in a heartbeat!”

“Kianna is awesome! She did a great job looking after our fur baby. Communication and daily update photos were great and gave us peace of mind while that our little dude was well cared for while we were away.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets and have had many of my own ever since I was 3! I’ve always loved working with animals and giving them the best life possible. Through my years of hands-on experience, I’ve gained the knowledge and understanding of caring for different animals with a wide range of needs. You can be assured your furry family member will be offered lots of play time, affection and care, just like they are my own! I am currently work Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 8-4:30, but while I’m not at work I am always doing something with my dogs or cats! My favourite time of the day is when I get to take them for a walk, or simply play with toys in the yard. Seeing any animal happy and content is what brings me joy! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own who love other animals! We also have a fenced yard. If your pet doesn’t like to socialize with others, I can ensure they are separated with no issues!
“We had a great experience with Saoirse! She was fantastic with my pups and an overall kind and thoughtful person. Kept me updated the entire time with photos and my dogs were super happy when I got home ? thanks again! We will definitely ask her to come back next time we are out of town.”

“Sara is fantastic. Our dog has some anxiety around strangers and Sara worked with us slowly to get our pup more comfortable over walks and an overnight visit before our weeklong holiday. She was great with our dog and did everything to make her comfortable. When we were on our holiday, our flight got delayed and we needed to get Sara to stay an extra day. She responded right away and made sure that everything was updated in the app and our pets were properly taken care of. We will be using Sara as much as we can in the future.”

About: I have 4 years of dog daycare and boarding in a commercial setting with an additional 4 years of house/farm sitting for clients with both dogs and cats. I have experience and love dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes as well as experience with cats of all temperaments. I am also comfortable and have experience feeding and handling any other critters you have such as fish or reptiles. At the moment I am giving all of my attention to pet care and house sitting so my schedule is completely open for the spring/summer season. Upon accepting a house sitting, drop-in, or walk request I will schedule a meet & greet where I can meet you and your pets and go over any additional information. This includes safety issues within your home or on the walk route, crating options, allergies, or any other little quirks your pets may have. Pets are part of the family and keeping them safe and happy is my #1 priority.
About: Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve shared my home with beloved cats for most of my adult life. Over the years I’ve also co-habited with small and medium dogs, cared for senior pets, and supported many animals through the last gentle stages of their lives. My professional background is in environmental science (35 years), a path I chose out of love and devotion to animals, wildlife, and the natural world. Outside of work, I spent years volunteering with animals — from supporting elephants and reptiles at the Valley Zoo to caring for over 70 elephants at an orphanage in Sri Lanka. I even trained one elephant, Devi, to paint using positive reinforcement. I’ve also cared for small exotic pets, including ball pythons and a garter snake. Today, I bring all of that experience into calm, compassionate, reliable pet care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’m gentle, observant, patient, and very attuned to the emotional needs of animals — especially seniors or those who are shy, anxious, or needing extra support. Skills & Care Abilities: Administering medications with confidence: pills, injections, liquid meds via syringe, and puffers for dogs and cats Handling senior or special-needs pets with patience and gentleness Cat nail trims Dog bathing and brushing; cat brushing (hairless cat bathing and grooming) Experience with freshwater and saltwater aquariums Comfortable with reptiles and other small animals Master Gardener/Composter certified (City of Edmonton) — happy to care for plants, yards, and gardens as well Calm, confident, experienced around all animal personalities Clear communication and daily updates I’m recently retired, which allows me to offer steady, unhurried, fully present care for the animals I look after. When I’m not volunteering in Asia or Costa Rica, I work quietly from home doing computer-based volunteer work — which means your pet will have company, consistency, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to take dogs out for frequent walks, playtime, and pee breaks, tailored to their age and energy level. I’m equally happy to spend long, calm stretches with small dogs or cats curled up on my lap. I genuinely enjoy the simple companionship of animals, whether that means gentle snuggles, quiet presence, or attentive support for senior pets needing extra patience. My home routine is calm, predictable, and nurturing — ideal for pets who thrive with kindness, attentiveness, and a steady rhythm. Because I specialise in caring for cats and small dogs in their own familiar environment, my focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and reassuring experience for your pet while you’re away. In Your Home (House Sitting & In-Home Care) Your pet’s comfort and routine come first. I follow your instructions closely — feeding times, walks, medications, bedtime rituals, favourite toys, and comfort preferences. I maintain a quiet, predictable environment, and I am attentive to small changes in behaviour, appetite, or energy level. I double-check doors, gates, and windows to prevent escapes I ensure safe handling during comings and goings I keep a tidy, hazard-free space I send regular updates with photos so you always feel connected I provide lots of gentle companionship, cuddles, lap time, and enrichment Cats and small dogs often bond quickly with me due to my calm presence and decades of experience. Drop-In Visits For drop-ins, I offer flexible, attentive care — feeding, litter cleaning, short walks, medication administration, brushing, playtime, or simply quiet company if your pet prefers. I take care to observe how your pet is feeling each visit and adjust my approach accordingly. Overall Approach With lifelong experience with animals — including senior pets, pets needing medication, and shy or anxious animals — I bring patience, reliability, and a gentle, steady energy. My background in environmental science and animal care has taught me to be observant, respectful, and attentive to detail. Your home and your pet are treated with the utmost care, respect, and kindness.
“Katia was great with Remi. As he is getting older he doesn’t do so well when our family takes a trip but Remi was so happy as seen on the videos and photos sent daily. Katia provided everything required to make sure Remi was happy at home and our family didn’t have to stress while away. Definitely will be rebooking in the future.”

“Stephen took excellent care of our pets and our home. He stayed at our home for just over 3 weeks while we were out of the country and we had complete piece of mind with him taking care of our 3 cats and our dog. Stephen was very responsive and clear with communication. He also ensured that he visited a couple of times before house sitting so that our anxious dog would be more comfortable with him. I completely recommend Stephen for your pet needs!”

“Adrianna came to my house and stayed 2 nights over Christmas! My dogs absolutely adored her and from the many update photos she sent me, they were at complete ease! Being this is my first time away from them I also had ease with the constant updates and easy communication! Would definitely recommend Adrianna for your pet sitting needs!!”

Sherwood Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aidan was prompt at replying to our initial request and scheduling a meet up. She was personal and attentive to all instructions. She was in frequent communication throughout her time looking after Zuma and handled all duties like a pro. Can’t wait to have her watch our dog again and would recommend to others!

Ashton was phenomenal!! She stayed with our very anxious dog in our home for 10 days while we were out of the country. I was nervous about leaving him, but as soon as I met her, all of my worries faded away. Right away it was clear how much she loves dogs and was willing to do anything and everything to make our dog feel safe and comfortable. Ashton is very kind, caring, patient, responsible and was incredible with communication and updates both with our home and how our dog was doing. She even went above and beyond shoveling snow, doing an errand for me and getting our dog pup cups to try and win him over. When we came home from vacation, our place was spotless and our dog excited to see us. I felt completely relaxed in another country while Ashton was taking care of our home and our dog. I will definitely be hiring her again in the future and highly recommend her!

We’d never thought to use a pet sitting service before, but after meeting Cara twice before she came to house sit/pet sit we felt very comfortable having her come into our home to take care of our most precious babies. Cara sent us pictures daily which was always the highlight of our day. She took our golden retriever for walks at the off leash park which is one of his favourite things to do. I could tell my ragdoll kitten was brushed daily which was also important to me to keep her fur mat free. When we got home our house was absolutely immaculate, Cara went above any of our expectations and we are so grateful for the care she gave our pets and our home. When we go away again I really hope that Cara will be available to watch Tucker and Ginny because she has set the bar very high.

Jaden watched my dog and my sister in law’s dog at my house on two separate days while we were away from home for wedding events. We were so impressed with her attention to detail and thorough care of the dogs. She is very responsive by message and her passion for animals really shows in her great attitude in her update messages. She was very reliable and punctual! Both dogs loved their time with her. We can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for dog sitting services! Thank you Jaden!
