About: I have pet sit for a wide variety of friends and family with all different kind of animals. Dogs most frequently to cats and even birds. I work full time Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm. I work hybrid model so I am at home full time Thursday and Fridays into the weekend. I do my best to tailor my routine to your pets needs. I know how Important it is to keep a pets routine the same.

About: I would love for an opportunity to meet with and learn from you and your furbabies on how to care for them! For the past 2 years, I have gone to a close friend’s condo to sometimes care for their medium-sized dog for a day. I generally aim to let their dog go outside every 2-4 hours, depending on their cues that I’m familiar with. On one or two of those breaks during the day, I like to walk them around their neighbourhood for around 15-30 mins. The only other pet experiences that I have is with a cat and a fish. I lived for four months with a cousin and helped with caring for her cat during that time. I had a betta fish that I fed and had a regular water change schedule for his fishbowl for two years. As such, I’m eager to build up more knowledge and experience with all kinds of dogs and cats so that someday I can foster or adopt a fur baby of my own. I will ensure to continue researching and studying caretaking for any pet if I am hired. I am a student taking online classes. My primary mode of commute is public transportation but occasionally and if needed, I will be able to find a direct way of travel. As such, I am flexible with schedules and can work things out if needed. For caretaking in the client’s home, I will ensure to follow instructions thoroughly. I will also ensure to put in extra effort to research caretaking for any characteristics/conditions that you describe your pet as having.

I’ve had my own dog for 9 years, and my childhood cat lived to 21, so I’m very comfortable with pets of all ages, personalities, and routines. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and attentive care while keeping pets comfortable in their usual routine and environment. During walks, I pay close attention to safety, leash handling, traffic, and each dog’s individual temperament and energy level. I’m also comfortable with active dogs and happy to provide longer walks or runs when needed. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, food if needed, bathroom breaks, attention, and companionship while keeping the home secure and tidy. I value clear communication and provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

“Catherine is amazing! As a first-time fur mama, I was very anxious about leaving our sweet Carl for 10 days. Once our meet and greet was done, I had a wonderful feeling about the care Catherine would provide for our cat over spring break. Not only did Catherine exceed all our expectations, we had daily photos and videos updating us on what Carl was up to, messages letting us know what he had eaten and how much soft food/kibble he had, information on his outdoor supervised adventures, and how well he slept. Catherine also left our home very clean and tidy. Our neighbours also commented on how attentive and caring Catherine was on Carl’s daily outside/walk times. We will definitely be having Catherine back to care for our sweet cat!”

About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. I don't have any pets of my own besides the 2 dogs and cat at my moms that stayed with my family when I moved out. I like to engage with the animals, if I'm coming to your house or otherwise to care for your animal I want them to feel seen and loved in the stressful moments while the most important people in their life are away.
