“Lori has taken care of my cat Noodles many times, she always sends me photos and I can tell my cat feels happy and safe. I would highly recommend her services for any of your pet care needs!”

“Sonia and her husband did a wonderful job taking care of my little cat Rudy this weekend. Rudy is shy around strangers but I received photos showing she was interacting with them both! I came home to a happy cat. I am relieved to have Sonia booked for two weeks this summer, I will be comfortable leaving Rudy while I am away! I highly recommend booking Sonia!”

About: I have been house sitting and pet sitting for the last 10 years. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, from bulldogs to rottweilers, to cattle dogs, and shi-tzus. I also have two 7 year-old domestic short-haired kitties named Mr. Finn and Leonard! I also have several years of experience dealing with birds and reptiles, as well as small animals from working at two different pet stores. I cannot wait to meet your furry friend and treat them like my own! I am currently working part-time but am happy to spend as much time with your pet as I can! And am more than comfortable staying over! I am hoping to make this into full-time work, so that I can dedicate my life to doing something I love. My experience with different breeds, temperments, and ages/health concerns makes me more than qualified to handle anything your pet has to throw at me! I am comfortable with force-free training, providing medications, and crating animals. Even the grumpiest cat will not deter me. I am happy to meet them at their level, whether that's jumping and kissing or completely leaving them alone!
About: I’ve got aims to become a dog trainer. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for several pets, mainly dogs and rabbits. Being familiar with prey species, I’ve got a soft spot for the timid and fearful dog in your life. I’m working to become a dog trainer, and I’d be more than happy to support your training goals when I’m with your pet. I’m available until 11am and after 4pm weekdays. Weekends are generally open, especially with advanced notice. As I work to become a trainer, making time for you and your pet is a priority for me. Your pet is unique and you know them best, so I’ll aim to learn what your needs and expectations are well in advance of providing care. With your pet, I am attentive to any needs they communicate and respond accordingly.
“From the moment my dog met Andrea, she was enamored. Pepper is normally suspicious and barks at people who come to the door, but I think Andrea has such a calm quiet gentle demeanor, that Pepper felt comfortable with her right away! The cats, too, came right over and were mesmerized. Andrea carefully listened to and took note of all instructions, was easy to communicate with throughout, and I had absolutely no worries leaving my pets and home in her care. She got some great photos of my pets during visits, too, so I could see how content they were. Andrea also noticed and responded to my senior dog's needs in terms of energy levels--walking her when she was energetic and staying chill when she needed that. I highly recommend Andrea!”

About: I have been a cat mom my entire life and truly adore everything about them. Cats aren't just pets to me; they are family. For years, I’ve been the go-to person for all my friends and family, looking after their cats whenever they go on vacation. I love providing a stress-free experience for kitties in their own homes. Now, I’ve decided to open up my heart and time to help other cat parents too. Whether it’s energetic playtime or just quiet companionship, I’ll treat your cat with the same love and devotion I give my own. I have a very flexible and open schedule, which means your cat’s routine won't have to change at all. I can visit at any time of the day that works best for your pet—whether they prefer an early breakfast, a mid-day play session, or a late-evening cuddle. Because I’m not rushed, I can spend quality time making sure your kitty is happy, healthy, and well-fed. Your pet’s comfort is my full-time priority! Since I have a flexible schedule and a professional eye for photography, you can expect plenty of high-quality photo updates from our visits As a lifelong cat owner, I am hyper-aware of feline safety. During every visit, I perform a 'safety sweep' to ensure no windows were left ajar and no dangerous items are within reach. I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring doors are securely locked and your privacy is fully protected. You can expect detailed daily updates and high-quality photos after every visit, so you never have to wonder how your fur baby is doing. My goal is to give you total peace of mind, knowing that your kitty is safe, happy, and in the hands of someone who truly cares for them like their own.
“Thanks so much Urbah for helping on short notice and being flexible. My cats and dog were clearly all quite comfortable with you and I appreciate your helpful knowledge on cat behavior.”

About: Hello, Pet Parents! 👋 I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—from farm cats in my childhood to training our family puppy for agility competitions in my teens. Animals aren’t just a hobby for me; they are my passion. While in university, I dedicated my time to volunteering at the SPCA, helping rehabilitate and comfort large, fearful dogs. Today, my home is filled with love from our two cats—including my 17-year-old senior orange tabby, Naranjito—and our family dog. Why Choose Me? Through years of personal pet ownership and professional pet sitting (including dogs, cats, and birds), I have developed a comfort level with specialized medical care: Senior Care: Understanding the gentle pace and extra patience older pets need. Injectable Medications & Testing: Experienced with diabetic care, including blood tests and insulin injections. Special Needs & Emergency Calm: Capable of managing complex conditions like canine epilepsy and severe allergies, ensuring your pet is comforted and safe during vulnerable moments. Whether your furry family member needs an energetic walk, a cozy cuddle, or attentive medical monitoring, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet yours! I work as a part-time letter carrier, but I have mornings (until 12), almost all evenings, and most weekends available to care for your pet(s). I have been called "too trusting" in my past... but this has luckily never injured me in a serious way. In fact, the worst thing is realizing that my standard of trustworthiness is NOT universal... but that has made me more skeptical of others when it really matters. Caring for your pet is something that requires a lot of trust of me, and I appreciate your skepticism. I wouldn't leave my fur-babies with just anyone, too. Training dogs when I was younger made me much more aware of body language and different personalities. I am always watching for potential stressors or safety issues. I love giving dogs the freedom of an off-leash area, but would have to trust that they will listen to me before being comfortable with any safety risks involved with that.
“We had to book a sitter for our two cats on very short notice, and it usually fills me with anxiety because one of our cats is very territorial and does not like strangers. Catherine went above and beyond, recognized our grumpy cat's behavior, and was able to give her the space she needed while providing care for both cats. We received multiple updates with every drop-in, and my wife and I would watch some short and very sweet videos that were sent along with pictures during each visit. We were surprised to see how our grumpy old cat began tolerating Catherine's presence, but also began slowly warming up to her in her own way. I highly recommend Catherine for any pet-sitting needs. She truly loves animals, no matter if they are cats or dogs, and will treat them the way they wanted to be treated, even if it means giving them a little space at first.”

Julia is lovely. We booked her services while we were away for a couple days and she took incredible care of Winnie. Julia is responsible, organized, and compassionate. Her experience with reactive dogs is an asset. We would happily ask her to dog sit again in the future!

Urbah continues to impress and amaze me! She is completely dependable and dedicated. My pups just love her- and when I come home after work, and she has visited them, they are happy and fulfilled. I don’t know what I would do without her. She meets the training needs of my 4 year old and completely meets the needs of my 14.5 year old puppy. Finding someone who adds to your life and your pups is rare indeed. So happy she is a part of our life!!!

Umber is amazingly patient with our reactive nervous girly! She’s patient and calm, and knows the most important ways to deal with reactive dogs like letting them come to you, not making eye contact until they’re ready, etc. By the end of the visit, Hannah was cuddled up on the couch with her. We are so incredibly grateful we found her.

Heather was fantastic!!! For each visit we received photos and updates when needed. The relief of knowing our pups were under the conscientious care of Heather’s just let us relax more for our vacation ⭐️ i Would 💯 recommend Heather and will be keeping in touch for future pet-sitting in the future! We cannot thank her enough!! Our puppies Margot and Winnie also thank her 🐶💘

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
