Hello, Pet Parents! 👋 ​I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—from farm cats in my childhood to training our family puppy for agility competitions in my teens. Animals aren’t just a hobby for me; they are my passion. While in university, I dedicated my time to volunteering at the SPCA, helping rehabilitate and comfort large, fearful dogs. ​Today, my home is filled with love from our two cats—including my 17-year-old senior orange tabby, Naranjito—and our family dog. ​Why Choose Me? ​Through years of personal pet ownership and professional pet sitting (including dogs, cats, and birds), I have developed a comfort level with specialized medical care: ​Senior Care: Understanding the gentle pace and extra patience older pets need. ​Injectable Medications & Testing: Experienced with diabetic care, including blood tests and insulin injections. ​Special Needs & Emergency Calm: Capable of managing complex conditions like canine epilepsy and severe allergies, ensuring your pet is comforted and safe during vulnerable moments. ​​ ​To us, our pets are a wonderful, beloved part of our world. But to them? We are their entire world. ​That simple realization shapes everything I do as a pet sitter. Every interaction, every walk, and every cuddle session comes down to one fundamental question: How is this animal experiencing the world, and how can I make that experience better? ​ ​Animals experience life through a completely different lens—and often, a completely different nose! ​When your dog goes for a walk, it isn't just about physical exercise; it’s their morning newspaper, their social feed, and their grand adventure. When I’m with your pets, I act as their bridge to a bigger, more exciting world: ​For the dogs: It’s giving them the time and patience to sniff out every trail, explore new scents, and satisfy their curiosity. (My own pup always inspects my pant legs to get the full report on which fur-friends I’ve visited!) ​For the cats: It’s tuning into their subtle signals, and letting them explore at their own pace—whether that's investigating a new toy or scent-checking where I've been. ​ ​I don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" pet sitting. Every animal has a distinct personality, and unique comfort zones.
