About: As a child, growing up on a farm, my favourite part of the day was coming home from school and watching our little cat colony run across our yard to greet me. Every one got a good head rub before I walked over to their barn, checked on their fresh water, and filled up their food dish. Only two of the dozen or so cats we kept were "mine," but I treated them all with love...and good good cuddles. As soon as I had my first "grown-up" full-time job, I adopted a little orange kitten - "Naranjito" (Spanish for "my little orange one"; we call him "Jito" for short). That was 17 years ago, and he's still around as "my first baby." When my friend had a family illness and needed to re-home her ragdoll cat, "Sally," I was honoured to rake her into our home. A couple years later, Sally was diagnosed with diabetes. She was the most loving cat - purring from our cuddles as we pricked her ear to test her blood, and then gave her insulin from a needle when needed. Sally became my first-born child's first love and made it easy to teach my children about caring for animals and the joy of their unconditional love.

About: Throughout 18 years of my life i’ve grown up with 4 Maltese dogs who i love dearly and now are back home, so I have experience training and taking care of them I love dogs due to their unique nature and loving personality and I would love to be able to take care of them in my free time. About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by a wide range of animals. I currently live with my dog, Hank, and two cats, Nora and Ted. I have had my dog, Hank since he was a puppy. He is now 12 years old. I am well versed in senior care. I had my cat, Charlie for 18 years, giving him medication daily to manage his high-blood pressure. Sadly, I said good-bye to Charlie three years ago. “We just tried rover for the first time as we were going out of town last minute and Jenna was able to take monkey in for the weekend last minute for us so we were grateful ! She updated us with photos and videos where he had a big yard to run around and sniff in and make friends with her dog as well . We definitely felt our fur baby was in good hands and had a worry free trip thanks to her . When we came back he was very relaxed and happy as he had lots of time to run out his energy as he’s a very hyper dog . “Sherrie and her family were amazing with our pups. We could sense how comfortable our pups were with them and it was evident how well cared for and loved our pups were, while in their care. During pickup, after their initial excitement of seeing us, our younger pup tried to follow Sherrie back into her home as she went in to get their bag. This is a glowing endorsement for us as he normally sticks to is like glue! Sherrie also provided daily text and/or photo updates which put our minds at ease. This was our first Rover booking and we were unsure of what to expect, but seeing our pups looking so relaxed and happy confirmed that we had found a perfect home/pet sitting family for our pups. We provide a calm, loving home, daily walks, plenty of affection, and will follow your dog's routine exactly as you request. We treat every dog like one of our own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we're best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours during the workday. Every dog gets a morning walk before we leave, an evening walk when we're home, and lots of love and attention afterward. On weekends we're home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions exactly as requested. We treat every dog like a member of our family and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. We also volunteer with an incredible pet rescue in Edmonton dog sitting for fosters while they wait for their forever home and absolutely love everything about it. About: I have been house sitting and pet sitting for the last 10 years. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, from bulldogs to rottweilers, to cattle dogs, and shi-tzus. I also have two 7 year-old domestic short-haired kitties named Mr. Finn and Leonard! I also have several years of experience dealing with birds and reptiles, as well as small animals from working at two different pet stores. I cannot wait to meet your furry friend and treat them like my own! I am currently off for the summer before returning to school so I am happy to spend as much time with your pets as I can. Over night stays can also be arranged for an extra charge, depending on availability. I would love to chat with you to figure out what works best for you and your pet. I am hoping to make this into full-time work, so that I can dedicate my life to doing something I love. My experience with different breeds, temperments, and ages/health concerns makes me more than qualified to handle anything your pet has to throw at me! I am comfortable with force-free training, providing medications, and crating animals. Even the grumpiest cat will not deter me. I am happy to meet them at their level, whether that's jumping and kissing or completely leaving them alone!

“Nicole and her family watched Hank for 3 days while my wife and I were out of town. Hank can be dog reactive so previously we had had to settle for a kennel because it was hard to find a sitter who did not already have a dog of their own. Upon hearing that, Nicole was kind enough to block off the weekend for Hank alone. I cannot tell you how much it meant to know he was spending the weekend in a warm home with a substitute family. From the pictures and videos Nicole sent, he was happy, comfortable, well fed and well loved. Nicole and her husband have a son who was also great with Hank and in addition to feeding him, I heard Hank slept on his bed the first night. We would have Hank stay with Nicole and her family again in a heartbeat, and would encourage anyone else to do the same. 5 stars.”
