“Ben and his wife Deb were such kind people. Ben was very diligent every step of the way. He arranged the meet and greet to ensure that the pet and he were a good fit. This made me feel much at ease as I don’t want to leave my pup with someone irresponsible. The meet and greet was structured very well, chatting with us, having a checklist of questions, and then leaving our dog with him for several minutes to check his behavior without us around. Afterwards, the follow-up messages prior to our pup’s arrival were also sent timely. Finally, when we dropped off our doggo, Ben gave us lots of updates and photos, which were reassuring to know that my pup was safe and having a good time. About: One of my previous jobs was at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am Fear Free certified, which means your dogs will always be treated with kindness and care. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I never encountered a dog I couldn't handle or get through to. I truly believe that there are no bad dogs. I am currently a student part time at NAIT and am looking for some income and movement in-between my online classes. I am available around 6 hours a day for walking, and am very flexible with my schedule and time. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly golden retriever who's good with cats and dogs. I also have 4 cats that are all cat and dog friendly as well. It's a bit of a zoo but everyone is happy and healthy. I always say the animals eat better than we do.

My dog & I frequently enjoy hours together in the river valley and he would love a companion. If you’re not comfortable with that (though he is a sweetheart), I can walk your pup solo! Over my years, I understand that cats are often subject to neglect as many perceives them as independent creatures, however cat-care requires comprehensive knowledge when it come to understanding how they learn and how they feel safe. Cats are more high maintenance than labeled, and I can keep up. I can provide consistent cleaning of litter, as well as 1 deep clean per week of the litter boxes, sensory and mental stimulation via toys and learning/training activities, understand diet restrictions, cat-bathing, and administrate medicine.

About: I’ve always been around pets (despite being allergic, cats especially have always been drawn to me) so I have plenty of experience interacting with and looking after animals of varying temperaments, ages, activity levels, personalities, and needs. I grew up with a bichon shih-tzu named Dewey and I currently have a very sweet black cat named Styx that I adopted in January 2023! About: I have been house sitting and pet sitting for the last 10 years. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, from bulldogs to rottweilers, to cattle dogs, and shi-tzus. I also have two 7 year-old domestic short-haired kitties named Mr. Finn and Leonard! I also have several years of experience dealing with birds and reptiles, as well as small animals from working at two different pet stores. I cannot wait to meet your furry friend and treat them like my own! I am currently working part time so I am happy to spend as much time with your pet as I can! And am more than comfortable staying over! I am hoping to make this into full-time work, so that I can dedicate my life to doing something I love. My experience with different breeds, temperments, and ages/health concerns makes me more than qualified to handle anything your pet has to throw at me! I am comfortable with force-free training, providing medications, and crating animals. Even the grumpiest cat will not deter me. I am happy to meet them at their level, whether that's jumping and kissing or completely leaving them alone!

“Nicole and her family took great care of Pavlov for a couple of days despite his high anxiety and energy. I usually hesitate to leave him for long periods because of his anxiety and it always worries me, but with Nicole’s expertise with rescue dogs, constant communication, and picture/video updates of Pavlov, I had peace of mind. I’m grateful she and her family were able to care for him and accommodate him despite some adjustments. Pavlov is very lovable but is currently challenging to care for, especially with other dogs around. So I really appreciate the time, effort, and extra snacks they gave him to make sure he was happy and felt at home!”
