About: As a child, growing up on a farm, my favourite part of the day was coming home from school and watching our little cat colony run across our yard to greet me. Every one got a good head rub before I walked over to their barn, checked on their fresh water, and filled up their food dish. Only two of the dozen or so cats we kept were "mine," but I treated them all with love...and good good cuddles. As soon as I had my first "grown-up" full-time job, I adopted a little orange kitten - "Naranjito" (Spanish for "my little orange one"; we call him "Jito" for short). That was 17 years ago, and he's still around as "my first baby." When my friend had a family illness and needed to re-home her ragdoll cat, "Sally," I was honoured to rake her into our home. A couple years later, Sally was diagnosed with diabetes. She was the most loving cat - purring from our cuddles as we pricked her ear to test her blood, and then gave her insulin from a needle when needed. Sally became my first-born child's first love and made it easy to teach my children about caring for animals and the joy of their unconditional love.
About: I have been a cat lover since I was young as I started to take care of street cats that ended up in my neighbourhood. That took me to take care of friends cats and before adopting my kitty, I became good friends with the cat of my homestay family here in Canada. About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by a wide range of animals. I currently live with my dog, Hank, and two cats, Nora and Ted. I have had my dog, Hank since he was a puppy. He is now 12 years old. I am well versed in senior care. I had my cat, Charlie for 18 years, giving him medication daily to manage his high-blood pressure. Sadly, I said good-bye to Charlie three years ago. It was one of the hardest things I had to do. I have genuine love and care for senior animals after his passing. I work full time as a teacher. I am usually busy Monday-Friday during the day. However, my partner works from home. With teaching I also have a very flexible schedule when it comes to holidays and weekends! My home has a large yard. There will be plenty of walks and opportunities for play. I take my dog for 3 walks throughout the day, often spending more than two hours outside with him. I make sure my animals are mentally stimulated by providing them with puzzle toys, and engaging with them in play.

We cared for our beloved dog for 11 years through two knee surgeries and several other procedures due to genetic health issues, giving her the best care every step of the way. That experience taught us patience, responsibility, and how to recognize when a dog needs extra attention. We provide a calm, loving home, daily walks, plenty of affection, and will follow your dog's routine exactly as you request. We treat every dog like one of our own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we're best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours during the workday. Every dog gets a morning walk before we leave, an evening walk when we're home, and lots of love and attention afterward. On weekends we're home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions exactly as requested. We treat every dog like a member of our family and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. We also volunteer with an incredible pet rescue in Edmonton dog sitting for fosters while they wait for their forever home and absolutely love everything about it. All dogs we watch will 100% be treated like royalty 💜 We also have a toy box full of new toys where your incredible pet gets to bring home their favorite toy after their stay 🥰

About: I have been house sitting and pet sitting for the last 10 years. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, from bulldogs to rottweilers, to cattle dogs, and shi-tzus. I also have two 7 year-old domestic short-haired kitties named Mr. Finn and Leonard! I also have several years of experience dealing with birds and reptiles, as well as small animals from working at two different pet stores. I cannot wait to meet your furry friend and treat them like my own! I am currently off for the summer before returning to school so I am happy to spend as much time with your pets as I can. Over night stays can also be arranged for an extra charge, depending on availability. I would love to chat with you to figure out what works best for you and your pet. I am hoping to make this into full-time work, so that I can dedicate my life to doing something I love. My experience with different breeds, temperments, and ages/health concerns makes me more than qualified to handle anything your pet has to throw at me! I am comfortable with force-free training, providing medications, and crating animals. Even the grumpiest cat will not deter me. I am happy to meet them at their level, whether that's jumping and kissing or completely leaving them alone!
