“Lori has taken care of my cat Noodles many times, she always sends me photos and I can tell my cat feels happy and safe. I would highly recommend her services for any of your pet care needs!”

“Cindy is fantastic! She is very detailed in her reviews and goes above and beyond to keep things clean and tidy around our cat’s litter. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: One of my previous jobs was at the Edmonton Humane Society, where I worked with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I am Fear Free certified, which means your dogs will always be treated with kindness and care. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I never encountered a dog I couldn't handle or get through to. I truly believe that there are no bad dogs. I am currently a student part time at NAIT and am looking for some income and movement in-between my online classes. I am available around 6 hours a day for walking, and am very flexible with my schedule and time. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly golden retriever who's good with cats and dogs. I also have 4 cats that are all cat and dog friendly as well. It's a bit of a zoo but everyone is happy and healthy. I always say the animals eat better than we do.
About: I have had many personal experiences with pups over 10 years not in a daycare. But sitting on occasion but it’s my passion to work with them I’m calm and gentle and respect the animals they have feelings too I’m currently not working otherwise but may get another part time job but as of now I have so much time for the pups and always will make the time. I can work variety of shifts including weekends. I’m going to be doing pet sitting in clients home so again staying calm respecting them and being gentle! Letting them out to use washroom maybe even walks
About: IN EDMONTON FROM APRIL 30 to MAY 18 :) can take house sitting, dog walking and drop ins. Moving to Nanaimo end of May and will be house/pet sitting until I get settled in. Only house sitting, dock walking and drop in visits available. I am the go to for many friends and family for pet sitting! I travel a lot which makes having a dog or cat of my own hard, so being able to care for my friends pets allows me to get that animal therapy I need! I’ve had their pets in my home, or I’ve stayed at their place to watch them if their pet feels more comfortable in their own home. I love going for walks, and spending as much time with them as I can :) I’ve had pets my entire life - dogs, ferrets, and Guinea pigs. But as of now we don’t have any pets. My husband and I stayed at an animal rescue in Colombia, and it was truly paradise to be surrounded by so many dogs and cats that just wanted to be loved! We also pet sat our entire year in New Zealand (using kiwi housesitters). While I’m in Edmonton I’m free all day! End of May I will be working casual as a sonographer in Nanaimo. I will have some days off but some days I will be out of the house from 7-4. So your pet would have to be okay being alone some days. But you can message me to see if they are days where I am not working. Lots of walks and play time provided! As long as I have all the instructions needed to care for your pet, your fur baby is in good hands! I treat each pet as if they were my own.
“Anick was wonderful and the best we could have asked for using Rover for the first time. She always left us messages after her visits to let us know how our cats were doing and she clearly is loved by my senior cat because We came home to no vengeful “accidents” like she usually leaves us as a punishment for leaving her. Would 100% ask her to watch our animals again”
“Tammy is a great, caring pet sitter who quickly bonded with my cats and put all my concerns at rest. She genuinely loves all animals. She came when she said she would every single day and made sure my cats were adjusting well to their adjusted routine. I recommend Tammy most highly.”
“Umber is amazingly patient with our reactive nervous girly! She’s patient and calm, and knows the most important ways to deal with reactive dogs like letting them come to you, not making eye contact until they’re ready, etc. By the end of the visit, Hannah was cuddled up on the couch with her. We are so incredibly grateful we found her.”

About: I like many other people have had pets from a young age. I have always loved animals & I'm looking forward to meeting some of yours too. I have multiple hours Monday to Friday that i will be able to use to pop in to check on your pets or take them for a walk depending on what service you require on the day I have reliable transportation so that you never have to worry about me being there on time. I am also a very active walker with my own dogs which i am sure your dogs will love just as much as mine
About: I have been around animals my whole life. In elementary school, I would be greeted by our farm cats as soon as I got home. After a quick pet or cuddle with each of them, I would refill their water and food bowls and sit with the bigger cuddlers for as long as I could. In secondary school, I trained our family puppy - from obedience to competing in agility competitions. I loved watching him learn new tricks and never forget the basics, even as a senior dog and with me living away from him. While in university, I kept animals in my life by volunteering at the local SPCA. I loved the bigger dogs, and my heart broke if I ever saw them afraid of other dogs or humans. Helping them through their rehabilitation was an honour. As an adult, I adopted an orange tabby, "Naranjito." Jito, as we call him, is celebrating 17 human years as of 2026. He sleeps a bit more, and needs an extra step to jump sometimes, but he's still strong enough to put his BIGGER 2-year-old spicy sister in her place when she attacks him in play. With only one cat, I craved helping more, and did some pet care for others in my 20s. This involved bird-sitting, and dog-walking. A friend asked me to take in her older cat when she had a family illness. "Sally The Cat" was the embodiment of love. She had diabetes, but would still purr through her blood tests and insulin injections. This made me more comfortable with taking care of more serious health issues. Our current family dog has epilepsy and allergies. His first seizure was a month after his adoption, and was pretty scary - for all of us. I quickly became the person in the family to stay with him through it, and comfort him back to his normal self afterwards. With him, I have become comfortable with giving pills, and asking for veterinary help when needed. I love all animals, but I get to spend my life caring for cats and dogs. I am working part-time, but I have some mornings, a couple evenings, and most weekends available to care for others' pets outside of my home. I have been called "too trusting" in my past... but this has luckily never injured me in a serious way. In fact, the worst thing is realizing that my standard of trustworthiness is NOT universal... but that has made me more skeptical of others when it really matters. Caring for your pet is something that requires a lot of trust of me, and I appreciate your skepticism. I wouldn't leave my fur-babies with just anyone, too. Training dogs when I was younger made me much more aware of body language and different personalities. I am always watching for potential stressors or safety issues. I love giving dogs the freedom of an off-leash area, but would have to trust that they will listen to me before being comfortable with any safety risks involved with that.
“Alyssa is great, she is super reliable. She genuinely cares for my cat and I feel better knowing she is giving her love when I can’t be there! Also she handles giving meds to my cat with no issue!”

“Heather was amazing! We were gone for two weeks over the holidays and she took amazing care of Pickle! We had some mishaps with our automatic feeder and she really went above and beyond to make us feel reassured!”

“Hannah was very responsive and attentive during the sitting service. Hannah followed a lot of instructions well. Grooming my two medium-hairs daily was very important and I appreciated Hannah's willingness to take the time to do it. Hannah will spend the time needed to properly care for your animals and I would happily hire this sitter again.”

About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. I don't have any pets of my own besides the 2 dogs and cat at my moms that stayed with my family when I moved out. I like to engage with the animals, if I'm coming to your house or otherwise to care for your animal I want them to feel seen and loved in the stressful moments while the most important people in their life are away.
About: I have been taking care of various types of animals the majority of my life. I am experienced with senior cats and dogs with specialized diets and administering medications. As well as looking after higher need animals. I am happy to take your pups out for walks and have house visits with your fur babies! I have a fairly open schedule during the day and overnight as needed I am looking forward to filling my schedule spending time with your fur babies! Your pet’s safety and your home’s security are my top priorities. I will stick strictly to your established routines to minimize stress and provide walk updates with photos after every visit.

“We booked with Tracy for daily drop-in visits and had a fantastic experience! She was great with our 3 dogs and comfortable catering to some of their medical issues. We will absolutely be rebooking with her!”
“We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Zoe. She did drop-in visits for our four cats over two weeks and truly went above and beyond in every way. Her communication was excellent—she provided detailed notes after each visit along with lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Zoe also took amazing care of our home. She even shoveled when it snowed and brought in packages that arrived while we were gone, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we returned, the house smelled fresh and clean—not like litter at all—which says so much about the level of care she put in. We would absolutely recommend Zoe to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring pet sitter.”

About: I was a dog groomer for 10 years so I’ve worked closely with all kinds of dog and cat temperaments. I’ve also worked as a wildlife technician with Wildnorth for 6 years so I’m familiar with giving medications to animals as well. I’m currently unemployed so I’m free all day, everyday to walk or pet sit your animals. I have a cat of my own who is good with other dogs (but not cats) so I’d be happy to watch your dog at my place, but your cat at your house. I can offer my home or for dogs and your home for cats. I live in a basement suite so to go outside for a pee I go on daily walks.
