Responsible and loving pet care
I had my own dog for seven years, and have watched and cared for cats and dogs for friends, family, and coworkers several times over the last few years. I also have hands-on experience with gerbils, hamsters, and betta fish. I learned a lot about dog behaviour while having a dog, and I enjoy researching and studying to learn more about animal behaviour and proper pet care. I have my own private insurance aside from the Rover guarantee. **No pitbulls, staffies, or any other bully breeds.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I will provide food and water as necessary for your animals, pee breaks and/or walks for your dog, and litter-scooping for your cat. I will respect your pet's boundaries and let them choose to trust me, rather than forcing them to interact (unless in an emergency which requires haste).

Melinda is amazing! She took very cute photos of my cat, Georgia, and gave detailed updates for each visit. It was very comforting knowing Georgia was in her care.
Melinda is always on time. Keeps me informed about how the walk went and that is truly appreciated. On the hot days she even brings a portable water dish for the dog.

Melinda was great with her drop in Visits with our two cats while we were away. The feedback and photos were very informative and we felt our cats were well cared for in our absence.
Melinda was fantastic with both my cats. Milo got all the playtime and attention he loves, and she was wonderfully patient with Russell until he warmed up. I came home to two happy, relaxed boys. The photo updates were thoughtful and reassuring and it was obvious Melinda took the time to get to know each cat's personality. Highly recommend, especially if you have a mix of confident and cautious cats. Will definitely book again. Thanks for looking after Milo and Russell, Melinda! ❤️

Schedule
I currently work a part-time job that takes up 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), but depending on your location I should be able to work around that. I have pretty much open availability for the other four days of the week.
Prices include all fees.
