I currently work a part-time job that takes up 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), but depending on your location I should be able to work around that. I have pretty much open availability for the other four days of the week.

I will provide food and water as necessary for your animals, pee breaks and/or walks for your dog, and litter-scooping for your cat. I will respect your pet's boundaries and let them choose to trust me, rather than forcing them to interact (unless in an emergency which requires haste).

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any behavioural issues, such as dog aggression, human aggression, or food/toy aggression. I do have some experience in those areas, but if it is severe I may not be a good fit for your dog.
A typical day
Does your dog prefer fetch? Tug-of-war? Or just cuddling? Let me know, so I can provide them with the best time possible. For walks, do you prefer that I focus on speed and distance, to exercise your dog physically, or "sniff" walks, to exercise them mentally? For cat owners, does your cat enjoy energetic play, or do they just want quiet company? I can and will happily provide either.

I had my own dog for seven years, and have watched and cared for cats and dogs for friends, family, and coworkers several times over the last few years. I also have hands-on experience with gerbils, hamsters, and betta fish. I learned a lot about dog behaviour while having a dog, and I enjoy researching and studying to learn more about animal behaviour and proper pet care. I have my own private insurance aside from the Rover guarantee. **No pitbulls, staffies, or any other bully breeds.

Melinda is amazing! She took very cute photos of my cat, Georgia, and gave detailed updates for each visit. It was very comforting knowing Georgia was in her care.
Melinda is always on time. Keeps me informed about how the walk went and that is truly appreciated. On the hot days she even brings a portable water dish for the dog.
