Responsible and loving pet care
I had my own dog for seven years, and have watched and cared for cats and dogs for friends, family, and coworkers several times over the last few years. I also have hands-on experience with gerbils, hamsters, and betta fish. I learned a lot about dog behaviour while having a dog, and I enjoy researching and studying to learn more about animal behaviour and proper pet care. I have my own private insurance aside from the Rover guarantee. **No pitbulls, staffies, or any other bully breeds.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I will provide food and water as necessary for your animals, pee breaks and/or walks for your dog, and litter-scooping for your cat. I will respect your pet's boundaries and let them choose to trust me, rather than forcing them to interact (unless in an emergency which requires haste).

Melinda is amazing as always. She takes lots of photos and gives very thorough updates. I always feel at ease knowing Georgia will be in her care.

Had a last minute plan and Melissa was able to care for my cats while away. Very thorough, great updates and cats enjoyed her company.
Melinda was awesome! We went away for a week and had Melinda come in a few days to do check ins with our cats. Our older girl is grumpy and usually hides away, she immediately came up to Melinda for pets upon the first meet up. We were in the middle of moving as well, so the house was chaotic but Melinda was so accommodating. Will rebook with her again in the future :).
Very happy with the care given. Will definitely book again and again.

Schedule
Dog walking and pet sitting is my job, so I have very flexible availability! Let me know what time of day you're thinking of, and I can let you know if that exact time works or if we would need to work around a previously-booked engagement.

- Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any behavioural issues, such as dog aggression, human aggression, or food/toy aggression. I do have some experience in those areas, but if it is severe I may not be a good fit for your dog.
