Mikaila was excellent with our diabetic kitty Ringo. I appreciated the cute updates and photos. Our first experience with Rover and I quite nervous but was a great experience. I do not hesitate to recommend.

Schedule

I work full-time from 8–4, which allows me to provide reliable and consistent pet care outside of those hours. I’m available for morning visits and walks before work, as well as evening check-ins after work. This structure helps me maintain a predictable schedule for both you and your pet, ensuring they get the care and attention they need.

Before caring for any pet, I like to gather as much information as possible to ensure I’m providing the best and safest care. Every pet is unique, and understanding their needs helps me create a positive experience for both of us. Some important things I like to know include: • Feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions or allergies • Energy levels and exercise needs (e.g., high-energy vs. more relaxed pets) • Behavioural traits (such as anxiety, reactivity, or triggers to avoid) • Comfort levels with new people, other animals, or certain environments • Any medical needs, medications, or special care instructions • Preferred routines, commands, or training cues you use at home I also love learning about what your pet enjoys most—favourite toys, walking routes, or cuddle preferences—so I can make our time together as enjoyable and familiar as possible. Clear communication is really important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
