About: I genuinely get more excited to meet animals than most people. I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up around pets, and if there’s an animal nearby, chances are I’ve already gone over to say hello. My friends are convinced I’ll eventually end up running a small zoo… and honestly, they’re probably not wrong. My experience goes far beyond just dogs and cats. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for everything from fish, reptiles, and hamsters to dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve also fostered and rescued animals over the years, including a litter of abandoned kittens that needed around the clock bottle feeding and care. I’ve taken classes on anxious and reactive dogs, have a soft spot for senior pets, and tailor my care to each animal’s unique needs. They’ll get lots of love, attention, routine, enrichment, and photo updates. Safe to say they may enjoy their vacation with me more than you enjoy yours! I live near Edmonton International Airport and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I’m frequently driving between Leduc, Edmonton, and surrounding areas, making me flexible and reliable for pet care. When appropriate, my partner joins me, giving your pet an extra set of caring hands. As someone pursuing nursing, I've developed strong attention to detail, responsibility, and a caring approach that carries over into pet care. I'm attentive, reliable, comfortable administering medications, and committed to following routines and instructions to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m Pet CPR trained, and have had many pets with different personalities and needs. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and stress free. I provide plenty of supervision, exercise, affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own and creating a safe, loving environment. I currently have a cat, named pumpkin and I have a dog named Mazie who suffers with severe anxiety. Although it’s a challenge, my dog Mazie has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and animal behavior. Through training classes and working with her specific needs, I’ve gained experience supporting pets who need extra care.

About: Hi! My name is Alina. I am a full time student at the University of Alberta. I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher! I love all animals, especially dogs! I have a dog of my own, so I am quite familiar with a walking schedule, feeding, bathing and overall caring for a dog. I have also been walking and pet-sitting neighbours’, friends’ and family’s dogs for quite some time now (in both the summer and the winter months). Additionally, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, strengths, and energy levels! I would love a chance to find a fixed / stable schedule to become a part-time dog walker! My schedule is quite flexible and open and I have my own vehicle, so timing and distance will not be an issue. I look forward to hearing from you! My courses are all currently online so I have lots of availability, especially during weekdays when pups may need a walk or a bathroom break! When arriving to a pup’s home to visit, or to take them for a walk, my goal is to create a safe and fun environment for myself and the dog! Whether that be through lots of walks, treats, or cuddles, the ultimate goal is to create a meaningful bond with the pup!
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I started high school. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets and make sure they are well taken care of! I have a senior dog currently so he needs a lot of attention and daily activity. I do my best to make him feel happy, healthy and cared for :) Usually I do drop-ins but I do in house sitting as long as it is within my preferred area! I make sure pets are comfortable and happy in their space while also playing and taking care of them.
About: Ive been working with all sorts of animals all my life, I'm very enthusiastic about any work that involves them. I have years of experience in many different animals, including reptiles. Animals have a natural gravitation towards me and I'm very patient and loving with any and all animals no matter how much attitude they can give. Dogs require a firm yet gentle soul to care for them and I believe that I provide just that. Any time I get to spend with animals is time well spent! My daily life is taking care and managing animals at home; I love waking up with a purpose of aiding and spending time with these cute little creatures I'd care for your animals if your home; mine has multiple cats with different personalities so its best to keep them separate from others. Any thing I can do to provide them with comfort and happiness is my main goal.

“Madalynn was great for the 2 dog walks she provided. Very positive experience. She was reliable, friendly, and clearly comfortable with dogs (she has her own). Super patient with our hundreds of requests of how to care for our dog, LOL. Communication was easy/fast and I felt confident that my dog was in good hands. My dog seemed happy and well cared for after each walk. I would definitely use her services again and recommend her to others.”

About: Dog Boarding: your dog will be well cared for in a loving, fun, vibrant apartment! I work from home full-time, so they will get plenty of attention. He/she will have the company of my sweet 11 year old Maltipoo, Kirby (12lbs). Kirby and I take 3 walks a day: one first thing in the morning, in the afternoon and right before bed. We can adapt to your dog’s walking schedule and needs. I only accept house-trained pets (pee-pad trained is ok too!). Dogs can sleep in bed with me and are allowed on furniture. They will get lots of love and cuddles! Drop-ins: I can only do drop in visits to homes with free parking. If you work long hours or have to go out of town for the day, I’m always happy to pop in and give your pets some much needed social time! I can take them out for walks, play with them, feed them, change their water and any other light tasks they may need! I also love cats 🐈 House Sitting: everyone’s needs are different so send me a message so I can better discuss yours! I do have experience house sitting and caring for pets while their parents are away. I can care for your plants and do light housework if needed. I work from home so I would require a high-speed internet connection. Please let me know in your booking request if I am able to bring my dog. ****Please note that I have an un-neutered male dog and cannot board any female dogs that have not been spayed. I also do not accept intact males.**** Working from home means I am able to give them lots of attention. Weekends are usually spent at home if I have a dog with me. I may step out for a couple of hours to run errands unless your fur baby has separation anxiety. My dog Kirby is well socialized and used to being around other dogs and cats. You will receive regular updates and pictures while your pet is with me. I work full time from home so your pets will always have me around. I will usually take my little guy out for a walk before I start work, at lunch, after work, and again before bed. Dogs are free to roam or be on furniture at my place. I crate my dog if I go out but am happy to adapt to my client’s needs. I give lots of attention and cuddles, and provide as much or as little stimulation as they need.
About: I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available to you and your pet on short notice. Not only is my schedule accommodating, so is my home and my pet education. Over the past 14ys, I have been closely involved with many different animal orientated facilities. My personal pup was certified with The Chimo Project which is now called CAAWLS. This organization recruits and certifies wellness animals for Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) services. Involvement with this company was both rewarding for my pup and myself. I also volunteer my time with Dogs With Wings (DWW). A non-profit organization that does amazing things. DWW is changing lives for the better by training dogs to be guide dogs, service dogs, autism dogs and more. Rest assured, your pet will be well loved and in good care during their stay with me.
About: I have fostered dogs of all ages from various humane societies along with my family since I was a young teen, and have been a dog lover my whole life! I own 2 dogs of my own currently, and they are the loves of my life. I am currently off school for the summer and have full availability to watch and care for pets. I have people to care my own dogs whenever needed, so I am always looking for new doggies to interact with! I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent care style for an animal and am open ears to however you choose to raise yours, and will completely adhere to those guidelines. I only walk on completed pathways and sidewalks that are safe for animals, and keep a sharp eye on our surroundings.
About: Hi! My name is Sam 🙋♀️I've had cats, days old bottle fed rescue kittens and multiple kittens litters, gerbils, and even a chinchilla growing up. Now I have a 9 year old 80lb American Bully, Odin, and almost 7 year old cat, Mittens. I also am currently doing daily potty breaks for two puppies, one being a senior dog for a couple who live in my parents neighborhood. My dog Odin is very high anxiety with many allergies and a skin condition. So I can understand the stress of making sure you are leaving your family members in the right care. I am highly compassionate and live by taking care and supporting people, animals and things that can be seen as vunerable or easily taken advantage of. I took a step back from my full-time job to be able to help my mom with some complicated medical issues she is dealing with. After working with these two puppies during the day and my love for my animals, I thought this may be the perfect opportunity to turn a hobby (animal loving) into a more full time job. Me, as a person, am very responsible, respectful, easy going, quiet, and empathetic. I have many hobbies like gardening, skiing, painting, camping, baking and golfing. My family of 2 step boys and Fiancé are all active and enjoy being outside. I am a certified nail technician aswell but mostly only do family and friends. I am currently helping my mom with general home care taking and errands. The hours a very flexible so I am able to work about your schedule! I love to go on walks so if allowed I could take them out for an evening walk or car ride. Play games in the backyard. Watch a movie together and cuddle up. Give them their favorite approved treats and tell them how much of a good boy they are haha
About: I have alot of love and affection to give to animals. I love to look after pets because it allows me to care for and love the pets while their owners are away. I have a large fenced yard where the animals can play and get their exercise in a secure area. I love to walk so walking dogs gives me the opportunity to get some exercise as well as make them happy. We had a beautiful husky of our own, but my oldest daughter took her when she moved out because her boyfriend had a dog, and I miss having animals in the house. I have fostered rescue dogs for 2 years now, and I have many references available from people that I have cared for their fur babies (both cats and dogs). I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am available for daily drop in visits, weekly visits or longer stays. I also provide daily dog walking. I have no pets of my own in the house I have a big backyard where the pups can run around, and also close to dog parks and lots of walking trails. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beaumont choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
