“Melissa was so good to my baby girl Everest! She took good care of her and Everest loved her company. She was reliabl, friendly and easy to work with. I would use her again!”

About: I have been around pets my entire life. Since I was a baby. For the last number of years I have petsit & dog walked for customers on Rover & facebook, my family, my partner, my in laws, my friends etc! I am currently unemployed. So 90% of the time I will available to you & able to bide by your schedule needs. I am available for dog walking at any time of day / night, weekdays & weekends. I can petsit at your house / do every few hour poty checks & feedings etc! I can do house or petsitting for long periods of times. And always check in as needed ! Currently i am not offering in home petsitting. But at your house whether it's letting your dog outside or going on an actual walk, I am very experienced in all these things!
“We really appreciated her patience with Benji. He was very shy and nervous with someone new, but she took her time, sat on the floor to help him feel comfortable, and never rushed him. Even though he wasn't ready for a walk, she made sure he had a chance to go outside and kept us updated throughout the visit. We'd happily book with her again.”

“Our dog Hudson loved Sam and warmed right up to her during her short visit. Sam arrived on time and is very friendly and personable, we feel so comfortable welcoming her into our home.”

“Jasmine is absolutely amazing. We had a cross Canada family trip planned and our elderly cat got sick right before we were leaving. Had other family not flown across the country for this trip, we would have cancelled. I was so worried about leaving but Jasmine stepped in and was able to not only give the medication but was so good, our cats warmed up to her which has never happened. She kept in touch and sent updates the entire time. We came home to happy, healthy cats and a clean house. She deserves 10 stars. Jasmine is a literal life saver.”

“We had a great experience with Taylor for Thai’s drop-in visits. She was punctual, dependable, and cared about his well-being. Each visit came with updates and photos, which really helped us feel at ease while we were away. We would definitely book with Taylor again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring drop-in sitter.”

About: I want your pup to feel comfortable while you are away from them. I try my best to cater to your dogs needs, give them lots of attention, walks and play time. I do work full-time, M-F, 8:30-4:30, but I’m only a few blocks away from my home so I can easily stop by to let your dog out during the day. Walks would happen early in the morning and after work/evening and lots of exercise on the weekends if that is what your pup needs. I have two cats that grew up with a golden retriever in our home, so they are used to dogs. I have a large fenced yard and am able to take your dog for walks.
About: I will treat your pets with love and care. We can play in the Yard, walk around the neighborhood or snug on the couch. I am no stranger to pooper-scooping duties, mine is always a 2 bagger! I am currently retired and spend the days with my animals and recently moved to Alberta to live with my son. I have gained a grand- kitten, Latte, who I call The Menace. She is so much fun and way to smart! I will care for your pet exactly as you instruct. We can play in yard, walk the neighborhood. I am no stranger to pooper-scooper duties, and will do as needed.
“Olivia took wonderful care of our 3 cats. She was attentive to the instructions we had and we could tell they had been well looked after by how calm and happy they were when we got home. We especially appreciate her availability on short notice and will definitely book with her again!”

About: Its hard enough to leave a pet with a stranger I'm hoping to make that a little bit easier. Besides taking care of personal pets since I was 10yrs old, in recent years I've taking a liking to babysitting friends dogs both at their home or mine. I have a daughter who I consider when looking at my schedule and as long as we have a friendly bunch I would be taking her along. I've taught her to respect animals just as much as I do and pet personal space is considered into that. I have a small fenced yard, but plenty of walking trails around. I don't have any pets of my own besides the 2 dogs and cat at my moms that stayed with my family when I moved out. I like to engage with the animals, if I'm coming to your house or otherwise to care for your animal I want them to feel seen and loved in the stressful moments while the most important people in their life are away.
“Blayne was very professional and friendly. She sent many updates with pictures and videos of my cat Bravo after the visits, and allowed me to have a peaceful trip knowing Bravo was in good hands! Thank you so much Blayne.”

“I wish I could give Samana 10 ☆s! Samana's compassion knows no bounds. She genuinely loves what she does and her animals! This was my 1st occasion away from Phoebe in a year. She was diagnosed with diabetes in April and I thought it would be difficult to find a qualified caregiver. Samana provided daily updates, photos, and notes. I had NO concerns whatsoever. Highly recommend and will absolutely book again.”

About: Hi! My name is Alina. I am a full time student at the University of Alberta. I plan on becoming an elementary school teacher! I love all animals, especially dogs! I have a dog of my own, so I am quite familiar with a walking schedule, feeding, bathing and overall caring for a dog. I have also been walking and pet-sitting neighbours’, friends’ and family’s dogs for quite some time now (in both the summer and the winter months). Additionally, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, strengths, and energy levels! I would love a chance to find a fixed / stable schedule to become a part-time dog walker! My schedule is quite flexible and open and I have my own vehicle, so timing and distance will not be an issue. I look forward to hearing from you! My courses are all currently online so I have lots of availability, especially during weekdays when pups may need a walk or a bathroom break! When arriving to a pup’s home to visit, or to take them for a walk, my goal is to create a safe and fun environment for myself and the dog! Whether that be through lots of walks, treats, or cuddles, the ultimate goal is to create a meaningful bond with the pup!

About: I work full-time (9–5, Monday–Friday), but I’m up around 7 a.m. every day to walk my own pup before work, and he gets another walk as soon as I get home. We usually head out one last time around 8–9 p.m. to make sure there are no overnight accidents. On weekends, I’m always up for park adventures, long hikes, or just spending a cozy day at home. If you’re looking for dog walking rather than boarding, I’m available before and after work every weekday! I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. During my years in Victoria, I built a bit of a reputation for being especially good with senior dogs and pets with extra care needs. I’m experienced giving oral medications, administering insulin injections, and following detailed medication schedules. I also have extensive experience with reactive, anxious, and rescue dogs. Because of that, I often recommend house sitting for dogs who are most comfortable in their own environment, where they can stick to their normal routine and experience less stress. I’ve had cats my entire life and have cared for many with medical and special needs as well, including administering medications and providing extra support for senior cats. I pride myself on picking up on an animal’s personality and preferences quickly. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship, lots of playtime, or simply keeping their routine exactly the same, I’ll tailor my care to what makes them happiest. Your pet’s safety is my highest priority. I’m calm under pressure and have successfully handled emergencies, including helping a dog who was choking until they could breathe again. I also believe you should never have to wonder how your pet is doing, so I send plenty of photo and video updates throughout every stay or visit. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. ❤️ I work full time (9-5, Mon-Fri) but am up to walk my own pup around 7am, and walk him as soon as I get in the door from work. I usually also walk him around 8/9pm to make sure there are no overnight accidents. On the weekends I am free to go for park adventures, long hikes, or just spend a lazy day in! If you are not looking for boarding, but rather someone to walk your dog - I can come before or after work any day! I pride myself in being able to pick up on an animal’s preferences & needs as quickly as possible. I know that every dog has a different story, and requires different things to keep them happy. Whether it be cuddling for hours after work, needing their own space, sleeping in my bed, sleeping in their own, more frequent walks, etc. I will do whatever it is that your pup needs to be happy with me ❤️

I’m so happy to have found a fellow cat woman! You can tell she truly cares about all kitties. She took very good care of my babies while we were away. She left detailed updates on anything that happened and I knew my kitties were in good hands. Your animals will be in wonderful care with Lynne! I am very grateful 😊

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
