Cat Enthusiast Ready to Play!
Aside from taking care of my own XL ginger cat Carlos, I have been taking care of friends, families and neighbours cats since the early age of 10. They have ranged in all ages, personalities and needs. I am quite familiar with the ever-evolving needs of each individual cat and am willing to adapt my care however it's needed. I have experience with administering oral medication, aggressive cats, shy cats, elderly cats. I am overly passionate and obsessed with cleanliness, especially with kitty's things, so rest assured that bowls, boxes, and fountains will be cleaned daily.

During your cat's drop-in visit, I will first and foremost feed them as I know how demanding they can be for meal time. I will check their box and give it a scoop, and clean up any litter in the surrounding area. I am happy to give your floors a sweep or vacuum if needed, I know how messy litter can get. Then once your kitty has filled their belly, I will sit down with them for some play or cuddle time, or whatever they choose. Before I go, I will make sure their food area and bowls are properly cleaned from that visit!

Melissa was a wonderful cat sitter who understands cats well. I felt very confident leaving my kitties in her care and they seemed in good shape and good spirits upon my return.

Melissa did a great job looking after our cats while we were away. They aren't used to being on their own all day and I was a bit worried about how they'd do, but they were fine and the little updates and photos she sent were very comforting.
Melissa was the absolute best sitter! She was kind, caring and went above and beyond with her drop-in visits. She made being away from my little (big) girl as comfortable as possible and I will definitely be using her again if ever needed in the future. Thanks again Melissa!
I had such a great experience with Melissa! She came by before my trip to meet my cats and me, and right away she gave off such positive, warm vibes that made me feel completely comfortable leaving my babies in her care. Throughout my vacation, she made sure their water bowls were always full and food bowls cleaned, which gave me peace of mind. She also sent lots of photos and a thoughtful summary after each visit. I really appreciated how honest and detailed her notes were. I have three cats with very different personalities, and Melissa’s updates reflected that perfectly, which reassured me that they were getting the love and attention they each needed. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!
