I'm a cat foster with a local animal rescue, and have lived with pets almost all my life. I have experience with clicker and target training with both dogs and cats! My first clicker trainee was my cat, Oscar. With the rescue, I gained experience with diabetes treatment. I'm always happy to learn more about animal care.

I have good experience with pet needs such as feeding, crating, nail trimming, bathing, and minor medical attention such as giving medications and diabetes management. I regularly research animal behavior and training methods to help me be a more effective support. I'm flexible about visit times, locations, dog size, and pricing. I have some physical limitations and only use transit. Feel free to send me a message and we can discuss things further. I'm happy to discuss alternatives that would be suitable everyone.

It was a pleasure to have Sam house/cat-sit for my little Hazel-nut. Sam was very responsive, thoughtful, friendly, kind, responsible, reliable and did a wonderful job. She sent fun updates and photos of Hazel which was very much appreciated. She was also patient with Hazel when she bapped and knocked over her tablet because she wanted attention and to be fed waaaayyyy too early. Sam was very considerate and washed her bedding and towels, which wasn’t expected but a very thoughtful thing to do. I would definitely recommend Sam and I would also book her again. Samantha went over and beyond. The care she showed for my Yorkie and the consistent follow-up with photos and text was unexpected and admirable. Knowing my dog was in great hands let me RELAX while I was away. Doggone it…I was IMPRESSED.
Sam is our first choice each and every time due to her attentive, communicative and gentle approach to pet sitting. My partner and I have had Sam watch our two dogs (one from a puppy) and our cat for years and have never been disappointed. She asks lots of questions to ensure that she provides our animals with comprehensive, personalized care to meet each of our pets needs. I never ever doubt that when we leave our fur babies with Sam, they are in the best care available in Edmonton.
Samantha looked after my dog for 2 weeks while I was away on vacation. She took care of her all day long and sent me pictures of dog walks and both of them cuddling on the couch in the evening. She administered vet medication too. My dog is quite anxious but there was no sign of her being stressed when I returned. I would not hesitate to recommend Samantha as a pet caregiver. She is great at following pet owner instructions and truly enjoyed spending quality time with my pet.
Sam took care of my two cats for a week while I was on vacation. I was so happy with her service and hope she'll cat sit for us again! She sought out detailed information ahead of time, asked lots of great questions, communicated consistently and proactively, and is a lovely person! I have full confidence in her caring for my kitties and my home!
Sam is truly dependable, and I can see that she loves our cat as much as we do, so I feel fully assured that things are being taken care of when we're away.

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule, which lends me the freedom to spend more time with your pet. As I currently have a foster cat, I am currently unable to offer boarding, and need to be at my home at least twice a day to administer medications.
