“Shea was an excellent cat sitter and really put my mind at ease while we were away. She kept me updated, followed our routine, and gave our cat lots of care and attention. It was such a comfort knowing he was in good hands. I’d happily recommend Shea to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

About: I have loved dogs since I was a wee babe. Whether it was being pulled behind the sleigh by our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, walking our Dachshund as a pre-teen, taking our Rottweiler mix to training class during high school, or helping my ageing mother with her senior rescue, I have always had a loving and respectful relationship with dogs. I am literally the girl whose friends all know I stop to pet all the dogs I meet (with permission first of course). So if I sound like your kind of pet person I’d be delighted to help you in looking after your dog! I work a regular Monday-Friday 9-5 week and have evenings free so I have lots of time after work and weekends to walk and play with your pup! I have two calm dog-friendly cats at home so if you have a cat-friendly dog who likes furry friends then they will all get along. I also walk a neighbour’s dog regularly so if your pup prefers to have friends join for walks then we can do that too.
About: Have had many animals in our past, such as dogs, cats, fish, and even horses. The backyard is large, and backs onto the St. Albert trail system. Excellent for walking your lovely dog. Also my wife has completed her course as a veterinarian assistant. I am a retired gentleman around home most often. Am also able to travel (within St.Albert and area) to your home to tend to your animals. I have a large fenced in backyard which backs onto to the St. Albert trail system and is perfect for walks.. My wife (at one time) was a trained Animal Health Technologist.
“Joy was great ! She was excellent at communicating and we always got many pictures of the pups. Joy was also very flexible when we had to change the plan a bit. Thank you !!!!!”
About: I have had pets my entire life, and I have been trusted to take care of family and friends pets for extended periods of time. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs and I am able to administer medications and bathe animals if needed. I can also feed animals a raw diet if required (with instructions). I like to go on 1-2 walks a day, depending on the dog and my schedule. I am currently a full time university student with a part time job, but I am able to pet sit any day of the week! Currently I’m gone during a few days and evenings. but am more free as summer approaches. During my free time I love going on walks, cuddles, some treats and some fun! I follow instructions of care closely so that both the pet and owners are happy with the experience. I personally keep a tidy space and I clean up after the pet as needed.
“Linda was great with my two cats! They were very comfortable with her and well looked after. I really appreciated Linda's thorough daily updates and photos. Highly recommended!!”

“Paula met my old cat were she was at and made the visits work while not stressing my cat out and still ensuring she got her medication 2X daily. So thankful for Paula!”

About: I’ve cared for pets for most of my life and have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of all ages. My first dog, a German Shepherd/Collie mix, was part of my family from the time I was 3 years old until she passed away at 15, giving me experience caring for a dog throughout every stage of her life. Today, I care for two large mixed breed dogs, one Golden Retriever/Husky mix and a Black Lab mix, ages 8 and 7 as well as having experience with several family cats over the years. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, playtime, bathing, brushing, nail trimming, cleaning up after pets, and providing lots of affection and attention. I’m comfortable caring for larger breeds and understand that every pet has their own personality, energy level, and routine. I believe consistency is important, so I always do my best to follow each owner’s instructions to help their pet feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having somebody nearby to keep them company, I’ll make sure they receive the care, patience, and attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet I care for. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet receives the attention and care they need. I'm happy to work with each owner's routine to help keep their pet comfortable and maintain consistency while they're away. I understand how important it is for pets to stick to familiar schedules, and I'll do my best to follow their usual routine as closely as possible. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I take the time to follow your instructions carefully to help them feel secure and comfortable while you're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with the same respect I would my own. I'll keep food, water, walks, medications (if needed), and playtime on schedule, and I'll make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure before taking pets outside. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet feels cared for until you return home.
About: I have experience with different animals from small dogs to larger breeds > 100lbs I don’t have any pets of my own but I have volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs and giving pets and cuddles to the cats I enjoy walking in the river valley, checking out new neighbourhoods, hiking, and taking advantage of any opportunity to be around animals I am currently working part-time/ casual so my schedule varies but I mostly work evenings and have mornings and weekends off. If there is a stretch of time that will be needed, I can accommodate if sufficient notice is given I would ensure the dog is given a long/short walk depending on needs, letting out to use the bathroom and routine feeding. Lots of play time with balls or toys Cats- I will cuddle or play with your cat(s), feed if needed, clean litter as well
“Sarah has been watching my pup for a few days now and she has been so kind. She repeats my instructions to me in detail so she understands exactly how to care for my pup. We are hoping to be able to keep booking her for the next few months!”

“Alana is a great pet sitter. This was our first time having her drop in to feed our cat. We came home to a happy cat! Alana provides excellent updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. We will definitely have her come back.”

About: Hello, I’m Ren! I’ve had a soft spot for animals since I was little, and I absolutely love taking care of them! I have personally owned 4 large breed dogs, 3 small breed dogs, and 6 cats (at once!). I’ve had experience with senior animals, puppies/kittens, diabetic animals, and animals with epilepsy. I am fully comfortable administering injectable and oral medications! I believe animals are one of life’s greatest treasures, and I’m delighted to meet new furry friends! For over-night house sitting more than 2 days I need; -a bed/couch to sleep on -access to a shower (I will bring my own hygiene supplies) -I can supply my own food 🍜but I will need access to a kettle & microwave. All dishes used will be washed afterwards😸 -wifi passcode I’m currently out of school and have a lot of free time on my hands! What better way to fill the week then spending time with dogs & cats😸 I treat animals with respect, love, and proper care. Any pet I watch will be treated with lots of affection and enthusiasm! I enjoy going for walks greatly and find it more enjoyable when I have a pal to go with.
About: After saying goodbye to our 14 year old lab we have a puppy who loves to play. I'm happy to offer pee breaks or play time! I work part-time from home and a stay-at-home mom so between errands and school drop offs I'm free to play with furry friends & tire mine out in the process!! My pets are part of the family and we treat them as such. Your furry friends would be well taken care with me! Pee breaks or playtime, I'm your gal.
“Joanne was exceptional! We couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful care Joanne provided for our Poppy over the past two weeks! Joanne visited twice daily to feed her, let her outside, and spend some quality time with her, and we could tell our pup was well cared for. Joanne kept us updated regularly, so we always knew our dog was in great hands, and it gave us peace of mind while we were away. Joanne was incredibly reliable and attentive, making sure all our instructions were followed to the letter. We highly recommend Joanne to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter for their pet!” She went above and beyond! Thank you Joanne!”

Shea was amazing with our kitty Romeo. He is a very high energy social boy, and Shea made sure he was in good company while we were away. She did everything I needed and more. I loved her detailed reports on what they had been up too, and the sweet pictures of our boy having fun made it easy to relax while away. Would definitely re-book. Thanks Shea!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
