“We had Samantha watch our two dogs and stay at our place while we were away for a week. We were a little nervous to leave our dogs at first but we are so grateful for Samantha and the amazing care she provided while we were away. One of our pups wasn’t feeling well, and she made sure he was well cared for and stopped at our vets to pick up some medication for him. Knowing our dogs were well cared for gave us great peace of mind. On top of that, we came home to a spotless house. Thank you Samantha for watching our boys!”

“This is the first time I've used Joy as my pet sitter. She was great at sending me daily updates with photos of my fur babies. Letting me know everything was fine. I'm booking her again and highly recommend her services. She's a lovely young lady.”

“Angie was great! This was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter for our 2 doxies. When I reached out, she got back to me right away and explained everything. When she showed up at the house, she had a notebook taking notes everything needed for the weekend. She was very attentive with they boys, updated us on how the weekend was going. I would highly recommend her as a hoise/dog sitter.”

About: I have taken care of animals most of my life and learned how to do basic training with dogs. I have learned and researched basic animal care. I have owned a cat, house-sat for cats, and have owned dogs and house-sat for dogs. I am currently watching Beckman's Dog Training YouTube videos and reading training books and animal husbandry texts. Any day except Sundays or Saturdays, if needed for a longer time period. Please let me know. I will see what I can do. What is it that you require of me? If it is long term, how long? Tell me about what you need and expect from me. Family-friendly and pet-friendly, I will feed pets whatever the owner requests and requires. Please pack an extra three days of food. This is required in case of emergencies and for the specific type of food name is required upon request. If it is longer than expected. If night shifts are needed, I will not be able to do things like feeding or administering medication in the middle of the night. These tasks can be done during the daytime or bedtime. If at night and needs meds at night. That will either be addressed up front, and told to me. I will see how my week is and if I can or not. It will depend, as I am not a night owl and a heavy sleeper. I will do my best. Thats all I can say.
“Megan did a great job house/dog sitting for us for 4 days. She responded promptly to my inquiry about her availability and we had no trouble setting a time for the meet and greet. One of our dogs is quite shy and was quite wary of her but she didn't push him and he did warm up to her. I think he was looking for her this morning. Our over-the-top friendly dog had more than enough cuddles. She left the house cleaner than when we left it and she did poo pick up in the yard even though we did not ask her to. We will be repeat customers.”

“It was my first time using Rover and it was the best decision ever. Saoirse was amazing and my dog and cat warmed up to her really quick! She sent me updates throughout my trip and it really reassured me that everything was going well! I will 100% be hiring her again for my upcoming trips this summer and you should definitely hire her if you're looking for a reliable person to take for your babies while you're away!:)”

“Marilyn was an exceptionally patient and comforting stand in mom for our 16 year old partially deaf, mostly blind little Bichon Shitzu. In our 2 week absence she updated us and sent pictures almost every day which helped ease our anxiety about leaving her. With a nursing background Marilyn was at ease administering the 2 medications our little one needed. Highly recommended!!”

“Zoe took great care of our Jasper and our home. She graciously got his pills into him even when he was a grump and she sent lots of updates and pictures to keep us in the loop while we were away.”

“Nicole, Thank-you, you were great! Our ask of Nicole was to look after our senior dog, who is 18 years. Nicole took steps to meet us and Bentley to ensure it was a good fit and was always communicative throughout our trip. Always on time with her updates, we had complete peace of mind that Bentley and Nicole were getting along. Nicole was great at asking questions when needing direction and support for effective pet caregiving. Thanks Nicole!”

“Naomi's love of animals is very evident in her interaction with our pets. They love her too! Her photo updates were very appreciated. Our home was cared for as well. We look forward to having Naomi dog/house sit in the future.”
“Ashton was wonderful. She took my 3 dogsfor walks, played fetch & sent picture updates even watered my plants and we came home to happy pups and a clean home. We will book again!!!”

About: I have experience with different animals from small dogs to larger breeds > 100lbs I don’t have any pets of my own but I have volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs and giving pets and cuddles to the cats I enjoy walking in the river valley, checking out new neighbourhoods, hiking, and taking advantage of any opportunity to be around animals I am currently working part-time/ casual so my schedule varies but I mostly work evenings and have mornings and weekends off. If there is a stretch of time that will be needed, I can accommodate if sufficient notice is given I would ensure the dog is given a long/short walk depending on needs, letting out to use the bathroom and routine feeding. Lots of play time with balls or toys Cats- I will cuddle or play with your cat(s), feed if needed, clean litter as well
“We feel so lucky to have found Samana!! She did a phenomenal job taking care of our dog while we were gone for the weekend. We got plenty of photo and video updates, and she treated our home so well. We will definitely use her again!!”

“AMAZING, is all I can say! Katherine took care of my two kitties while I was away for almost two weeks. Katherine quickly relieved me of any doubts that I had about leaving my cats while on vacation. Katherine took such great care of them ensuring they had plenty of play time, food, water and sent me updates, photos and details every single day on their wellbeing. When I came home my cats were extremely happy, and their coats looked better than when I left from all the brushing that Katherine did. I absolutely recommend Katherine for your pet if you’re looking for a great house and pet sitter!! Did I mention my house was cleaner when I got back too? 5 star rating all the way, I’d give 10 if I could!! Thanks Katherine!!”

“Maria was great with our 2 year old dog and four degus (rodents)! Our dog loved her, Maria sent plenty of cute pictures and kept us well updated throughout the housesit. Will definitely be booking her again!”

“Catherine was great. Our 2 dogs and cat loved her. She was very communicative and sent tons of pictures, which our daughter loved. Definitely will book her again.”

“Imagine leaving your house over Christmas in -30c when it snows almost everyday along with two St. Bernard’s who have never been without you! Jeremy and his wife did an outstanding job of taking care of our home and our dogs for a week over the Christmas holidays. They routinely sent us updates with photos and when I arrived home, the dogs were so content and not stressed at all, and our home was just as we left it. We will definitely hire them again and happy to provide a reference.”

“Michelle is not only warm and friendly, she had an instant connection with our really anxious dog. She ensured he had lots of things to do, took him out everywhere and sent us regular updates and pics. Recommend Michelle 100%.”

“Amy stayed at our home with our two dogs while we were away. She was responsive and adaptable to our young dog and our senior fellow. She even provided a video of our pups playing. With Amy’s help we enjoyed our time away and our pups were well cared for. Thanks, Amy!”

Absolutely amazing. I have my Vet med assisting, have worked in a emergency setting for 4 years and also I have worked in dog daycare, so to say the least nothing feels good enough for my pets.... EXCEPT ZOE shes phenomenal and I highly recommend even if your catnor dog need medication. I have 3 kitten babies and 2 dogs at completely different stages and Im wowed by her.

Megan did an outstanding job taking care of our 2 dogs and home while we were away! Daily walks for the dogs, lots of cuddles & excellent communication including photos of the shennanigans 2 dogs bring. We couldn't be happier with this young ladies services and will not hesitate to invite her back for our next time away.

This was the first time I left Oso with someone who is nor family and I was so reassured and put at ease with Valentina. She kept mostly to hus usual schedule and spent time with him! He seemed happy when I got back! She also was super helpful with and issue with the house that saved me having to cancel my trip! I know my Oso woukd def ha g out with her again!

We are sooooooo happy Erica was petsitting for us! We felt so safe knowing she was taking care of our pets. She did an absolutely fantastic job, sending updates and photos and always responding quickly to any questions. Our cat had a vet visit just prior to us going on vacation and Erica was great giving her the meds while we were away also. This is the first time we've used a pet sitter and we're so happy we found Erica. Much better for our animals staying in their own home, and the quality of care Erica provides is exceptional! Our dog was looking for her when we came home! Our flight was delayed on the last part of our journey home, and Erica kept in constant contact to make sure our pets would still be looked after if we weren't able to get back the same day. We highly recommend Erica, and would absolutely book her pet sitting services again! Thank you, Erica for looking after our pets as though they were your own. We're so grateful for the care and attention you gave our pets. They miss you already!

What a gem!! Sydney did an outstanding job taking care of our pets, her love of animals is apparent from the onset. She was very helpful with ensuring they had lots of exercise and kept to their routine. Sydney is very reliable, trustworthy, and was excellent with communication and photos!! We feel so fortunate to have finally connected with Sydney, knowing that our future travel will be worry-free.

Alyssa has a calm, kind way with dogs and seems to know intuitively what they need. Sadie is a very anxious little dog who suffers from separation anxiety and it was the first time we left her with a sitter. Sadie got along very well because Alyssa knew how to engage her, and even took her for a second walk when she saw that Sadie was getting agitated. Lovely person and highly recommended.

Julia is an absolutely amazing dog sitter! We had some major health issues pop up right before leaving and Julia took everything in stride, including around the clock medication administration and doing her best to follow all care instructions. I won’t be booking any other dog sitters before checking with Julia first.
