“Sarah was wonderful! The first time the dogs met Sarah, you could tell she was the perfect fit! Even the cat didn't drive her crazy!! It was great coming home after 3 weeks vacation knowing everyone was well taken care of including our home.”

“Nicole, Thank-you, you were great! Our ask of Nicole was to look after our senior dog, who is 18 years. Nicole took steps to meet us and Bentley to ensure it was a good fit and was always communicative throughout our trip. Always on time with her updates, we had complete peace of mind that Bentley and Nicole were getting along. Nicole was great at asking questions when needing direction and support for effective pet caregiving. Thanks Nicole!”

“Highly recommend Jeremy. Jeremy went over and above taking care of my dog Pocky . He will now be my dog sitter anytime I leave. I’m really nervous leaving my dog but Jeremy continued to put my mind at ease.”

About: Your dogs will love the time to play outdoors. They will be treated like any dog would ever be treated with love and care. I love dogs and have spent many years with them and caring for them! I have spent time with many dogs doing training sessions with obedience, can always add some extra learning for them while they are with me for a walk or even staying the night with me. Will have multiple toys for your dog to keep them busy. I’m currently not working and have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! To make them happy and not worry about you not being at home or around I treat every dog like it’s one of my own. If they need any help or extra love abs attention they will get it from me.
“Clearly experienced and relaxed around animals. We couldn’t fit in an introduction before the house sit but Kaela was unfazed and sent us photos of happy relaxed animals soon after arriving. Highly recommended.”

“Colby watched our dog for 9 days. We had never left her with anyone other than family and were pretty nervous. She took excellent care of her and our house was sparkling clean when we got home! 1000% recommend and will book with her again!”

“I've been booking with Robin now for 5 months. She is awesome. Every time I come home, my house is clean. My garbage taking out and my dog is loved and cared for. Thanks Robbin”

“Emily stayed in our home and cared for our two mischievous large dogs, and one elderly diabetic cat. By far, she has been the best pet sitter we have ever had (and we've had some good ones)!! Our three girls are a real handful given their different personalities, feeding schedules, exercise requirements and medication needs but Emily handled it all with calmness and care. We received daily updates with pictures and videos that clearly revealed that the girls felt happy and comfortable with her being there. She also kept us posted when she was leaving and when she would be back. Emily is a gentle, animal-loving, responsible person whom we have already booked for our next trip. She is one of a kind!”

“Terin's communication was great - there was lots of updates and pictures. My dogs can be shy, but they seemed very comfortable with Terin. The house was left 100% neat and tidy, which I also really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Terin!”
“Janessa took great care of my reactive dog and 2 cats while I had an emergency trip! I knew that my apartment was also well cared for! Very proactive, honest, and my pets were happy when I returned home. Thank you!”

I am very respectful of others personal space and will gladly take the time to get to know your pet to give it the best and most compassionate care needed.

About: I’ve been dog sitting with my girlfriend for the last two years. Now I am away for school and taking on the responsibility by myself! I’ve hung out with all kinds of dog breeds and personalities. I work with children and besides that, working with animals is by far the most rewarding work! I’m currently unemployed looking to find part time work. I am doing school remotely and am usually available all times of day with some notice in advance I have a bunch of fur babies, animals are some of my best friends. I am very focused on keeping my clients safe, happy, and healthy.
About: Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve shared my home with beloved cats for most of my adult life. Over the years I’ve also co-habited with small and medium dogs, cared for senior pets, and supported many animals through the last gentle stages of their lives. My professional background is in environmental science (35 years), a path I chose out of love and devotion to animals, wildlife, and the natural world. Outside of work, I spent years volunteering with animals — from supporting elephants and reptiles at the Valley Zoo to caring for over 70 elephants at an orphanage in Sri Lanka. I even trained one elephant, Devi, to paint using positive reinforcement. I’ve also cared for small exotic pets, including ball pythons and a garter snake. Today, I bring all of that experience into calm, compassionate, reliable pet care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’m gentle, observant, patient, and very attuned to the emotional needs of animals — especially seniors or those who are shy, anxious, or needing extra support. Skills & Care Abilities: Administering medications with confidence: pills, injections, liquid meds via syringe, and puffers for dogs and cats Handling senior or special-needs pets with patience and gentleness Cat nail trims Dog bathing and brushing; cat brushing (hairless cat bathing and grooming) Experience with freshwater and saltwater aquariums Comfortable with reptiles and other small animals Master Gardener/Composter certified (City of Edmonton) — happy to care for plants, yards, and gardens as well Calm, confident, experienced around all animal personalities Clear communication and daily updates I’m recently retired, which allows me to offer steady, unhurried, fully present care for the animals I look after. When I’m not volunteering in Asia or Costa Rica, I work quietly from home doing computer-based volunteer work — which means your pet will have company, consistency, and a peaceful environment throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to take dogs out for frequent walks, playtime, and pee breaks, tailored to their age and energy level. I’m equally happy to spend long, calm stretches with small dogs or cats curled up on my lap. I genuinely enjoy the simple companionship of animals, whether that means gentle snuggles, quiet presence, or attentive support for senior pets needing extra patience. My home routine is calm, predictable, and nurturing — ideal for pets who thrive with kindness, attentiveness, and a steady rhythm. Because I specialise in caring for cats and small dogs in their own familiar environment, my focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and reassuring experience for your pet while you’re away. In Your Home (House Sitting & In-Home Care) Your pet’s comfort and routine come first. I follow your instructions closely — feeding times, walks, medications, bedtime rituals, favourite toys, and comfort preferences. I maintain a quiet, predictable environment, and I am attentive to small changes in behaviour, appetite, or energy level. I double-check doors, gates, and windows to prevent escapes I ensure safe handling during comings and goings I keep a tidy, hazard-free space I send regular updates with photos so you always feel connected I provide lots of gentle companionship, cuddles, lap time, and enrichment Cats and small dogs often bond quickly with me due to my calm presence and decades of experience. Drop-In Visits For drop-ins, I offer flexible, attentive care — feeding, litter cleaning, short walks, medication administration, brushing, playtime, or simply quiet company if your pet prefers. I take care to observe how your pet is feeling each visit and adjust my approach accordingly. Overall Approach With lifelong experience with animals — including senior pets, pets needing medication, and shy or anxious animals — I bring patience, reliability, and a gentle, steady energy. My background in environmental science and animal care has taught me to be observant, respectful, and attentive to detail. Your home and your pet are treated with the utmost care, respect, and kindness.
