Many months ago, I was at a friend's house up in the mountains when her dog returned with a large goose quill stuck in their husky's lower jaw. The husky sat and whimpered. Immediately, I jumped into action. First just trying to wiggle it out with my fingers. Unfortunately, it was really buried in his gums. I had to resort to using a pair of pliers to get a good enough grip on it and gentle pulled it out of his jaw. When we were done with this impromptu rescue, that dog became my best friend, every time I went to their house. I am great with dogs of any size, Giant 100+ pound Great Danes to the littlest Chihuahua under 10 pounds. All dogs are welcome those with BIG PERSONALITIES or those who need to take their time getting to know each other.
