About: Literally, dogs will randomly come up to me, bark, smile and walk away. My wife jokingly calls me the "dog whisperer". BecauseI I love dogs, and ALL of them love me back. I have experience working at a doggie daycare, volunteering at the Edmonton and Calgary Humane Societies and I have assisted in a small boutique dog grooming shop. I have experience with house sitting, walking, feeding, cleaning and caring for puppies, old dogs, sick dogs, and in some cases, dogs who don't have a lot of time left on their clocks. Many months ago, I was at a friend's house up in the mountains when her dog returned with a large goose quill stuck in their husky's lower jaw. The husky sat and whimpered. Immediately, I jumped into action. First just trying to wiggle it out with my fingers. Unfortunately, it was really buried in his gums. I had to resort to using a pair of pliers to get a good enough grip on it and gentle pulled it out of his jaw. When we were done with this impromptu rescue, that dog became my best friend, every time I went to their house. I am great with dogs of any size, Giant 100+ pound Great Danes to the littlest Chihuahua under 10 pounds. All dogs are welcome those with BIG PERSONALITIES or those who need to take their time getting to know each other.
