About: I have experience with different animals from small dogs to larger breeds > 100lbs I don’t have any pets of my own but I have volunteered at animal shelters walking dogs and giving pets and cuddles to the cats I enjoy walking in the river valley, checking out new neighbourhoods, hiking, and taking advantage of any opportunity to be around animals I am currently working part-time/ casual so my schedule varies but I mostly work evenings and have mornings and weekends off. If there is a stretch of time that will be needed, I can accommodate if sufficient notice is given I would ensure the dog is given a long/short walk depending on needs, letting out to use the bathroom and routine feeding. About: I’ve always lived with a dog, and have experience with every size pup. I have watched friends pups for years as well. We have 2 kids in the house who are more than excited to help out! I work full time away from home, but my spouse works from home, so someone is always around to be with your dog. We are home on weekends, and evenings. I have a fully fenced in yard. If I’m sitting other pets at the time (with approval from both pet owners), we can separate them to give breaks if required, as we have levels in our house to split them apart. Your dog will be walked 1-2 or more times a day, in the morning and evening minimum. If your dog does well off leash, playing fetch in the green field is also an option. We also like to explore Edmonton in the wetlands and enjoy longer walks on weekends.

“Nicole and her family took great care of Pavlov for a couple of days despite his high anxiety and energy. I usually hesitate to leave him for long periods because of his anxiety and it always worries me, but with Nicole’s expertise with rescue dogs, constant communication, and picture/video updates of Pavlov, I had peace of mind. I’m grateful she and her family were able to care for him and accommodate him despite some adjustments. Pavlov is very lovable but is currently challenging to care for, especially with other dogs around. So I really appreciate the time, effort, and extra snacks they gave him to make sure he was happy and felt at home!”
