I've taken care of pets ever since I can remember, all the way from dogs to lizards. I have always been passionate about pet care since I was a little girl because I believe animals are the most misunderstood gift that humans have been given. I understand that all animals require that we pay attention to their specific means of communication and needs. I am knowledgeable in gaining the trust of pets, advanced in hygiene maintenance, capable of medicinal administration, proficient in providing pets exercise and abiding by and understanding diet restrictions.

Rachel left very detailed visit notes and took lots of pictures of my cats for me! She managed medications and took extra time to snuggle and play with them.

I am fully available for pet care for all hours during the day, and am able to do overnight stays with pre arranged appointments. If a long multiple day stay is required I need time to go back to my home for 1 or 2 hours during the day to take care of my own pet.

I care for pets in my client's home given that they provide clear instructions for how they want me to care for their pet and they make me aware of the supplies and resources their pet requires. If I am to do an in home appointment, I require a phone call and one in person meeting to get to know you and your pet.

I love to stimulate pets mentally and physically by providing them their daily exercise as well as taking them for car rides and going to the park. Additionally, I provide mental stimulation by trying to teach pets new tricks and playing with them using toys that require them to engage in problem solving such as finding a treat or trying to hunt their favourite toy.
