📅 Dog walking and animal care are my main source of income. I do house-sitting, but only for regular clients. I do this because it is usually easier on the dog having someone they are familiar with looking after them. 📅

🦺 Safety 🦺 ✅ I have my pet first aid certificate from Walks ‘n’ Wags (a paid first aid course developed with the assistance of a national team of Veterinarians and other Pet health professionals). ✅ I carry a pet first aid kit at all times. ✅ For multi-dog walks, I always walk with another person (usually my sister). I have seen too many solo dog walkers struggle to keep control of their groups when faced with a distraction or interference. Having another person present allows for a safer walk. 🤝 Trust 🤝 - I always provide photos and notes in my rover card so you can feel at ease knowing your furry friend is safe and happy. - I always ask to do a meet & greet prior to accepting care so that the owner and myself can determine if I’m a good fit for their pet. - I never, ever use physical or negative punishment with an animal who is under my care. I am not a trainer or behaviouralist, but I try to educate myself on canine body language and the use of positive reinforcement. 🌲 Environment 🌲 -My preferred space for dog walking is in nature. I usually take dogs to parks (off-leash)

Does your dog have reliable recall? If not, you MUST be willing to work with me to develop your dog's recall. Let me know if your dog displays any behaviour that could potentially put itself, other dogs or people in danger. For example, does your dog have a habit of eating garbage? Do they get along with other dogs? are they particularly aggressive towards men?

My main goal is to tire your dog out. I do this through exercise and mental stimulation. I try to run and play as much as possible with a dog, with breaks in between for sniffs and potty breaks.

I understand that pets are like family, so building trust with an owner and their pet is very important to me. I am always open to chatting about your pet’s needs in order to provide the best care possible. I have been dog walking for over two years with dogs from varying sizes and temperaments (Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees). As of now, I have started doing multi-dog walks with my sister. I am great fit for your dog if; - You have a high energy dog who needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. - You're looking for a walker who can take your dog to off-leash nature parks. - You want a walker who engages, plays and exercises with your dog.
