About: In the last 8 years, I’ve cared for all kinds of cats; some snuggly, some mischievous, some that only needed their litter boxes cleaned, and others that required medication and extra care. About: As a child, growing up on a farm, my favourite part of the day was coming home from school and watching our little cat colony run across our yard to greet me. Every one got a good head rub before I walked over to their barn, checked on their fresh water, and filled up their food dish. Only two of the dozen or so cats we kept were "mine," but I treated them all with love...and good good cuddles. As soon as I had my first "grown-up" full-time job, I adopted a little orange kitten - "Naranjito" (Spanish for "my little orange one"; we call him "Jito" for short). That was 17 years ago, and he's still around as "my first baby." When my friend had a family illness and needed to re-home her ragdoll cat, "Sally," I was honoured to rake her into our home. A couple years later, Sally was diagnosed with diabetes. She was the most loving cat - purring from our cuddles as we pricked her ear to test her blood, and then gave her insulin from a needle when needed. Sally became my first-born child's first love and made it easy to teach my children about caring for animals and the joy of their unconditional love.

About: I’d love to care for your pup with walks, visits, or overnight hang-outs! I work from home most of the time (setting my own schedule for days in the office) and will be able to spend tons of time with your pup with very few and flexible exceptions. We have our own pup, a young golden retriever who is very social and confident and silly. He plays and gets along really well with other dogs! Dogs who are well behaved, relaxed, and mellow are my favourite, but I love pups who have more energy as long as they listen really well and are gentle and kind :) We can go for walks in our quiet and safe neighbourhood and in the huge field outside our front door, and we can hangout together in our paved and closed off backyard! We are pretty mellow people and love having a pup around to walk and adventure with and to snuggle and chill with. I do not take dogs who do not walk well on a leash (unrelenting pulling is a no-go, but they also don’t have to be perfect or beside me the whole time - they can certainly sniff and explore and enjoy themselves), who are loud (consistent barking or whining), who have destructive separation anxiety, or who are aggressive with or have issues with other dogs or people (reactivity). If you’re in need of a sitter for a longer duration, it’s best if your dog would be comfortable in an office environment where other dogs may be present. It’s easier to accommodate longer stays if I can bring them with me to work, though I am able to work from home any time and certainly over shorter stays. Safety is my top priority followed closely by having fun! When outside I’ll keep your dog on a leash unless we are hanging out together in our closed off backyard.

I have two of my own dogs, one large and one small. I am very attentive to each dogs separate needs and am conveniently located next to the off leash. I am available most days and just out a little bit throughout the day off and on while I’m not working.I am home most weekends as well. Depending on the service required and the dogs needs and requirements. I’m my home we spend our days out for walks or at the park. My dogs usually accompany me if I have errands to run
About: I have been taking care of various types of animals the majority of my life. I am experienced with senior cats and dogs with specialized diets and administering medications. As well as looking after higher need animals. I am happy to take your pups out for walks and have house visits with your fur babies! I have a fairly open schedule during the day and overnight as needed I am looking forward to filling my schedule spending time with your fur babies! Your pet’s safety and your home’s security are my top priorities. I will stick strictly to your established routines to minimize stress and provide walk updates with photos after every visit.
About: I’ve had dog since I was 5 Judy a german Shepard winifred an American Stanford terrier Edger a Pom pug genius and since his passing at 14 from cancer a 7 month old chihuahua pug who adores playing sith my sisters alpha shitzu who keeps up delisted being physically disabled I currently work part-time from home and set my work hours. My dogs have never been entirely alone. I can schedule and arrange my other obligations to match what is needed. I strive to maintain training continuity and avoid disrupting their current routine as much as possible, regardless of the setting. I believe staying in their familiar environment inherently minimizes the disruption they feel while your away, but I promise to provide the same level of dedication and care. And if more outdoor time is the goal im always happy to accommodate long dog park requests

“Vanessa took amazing care of my dog. Matter of fact, I think Pam wants to go back! I got photos and updates and at no point was I worried about my dog. In my rush to pack up for the week I miscalculated how much dog food to send and Vanessa didnt hesitate to fix my mistake and go get her some more. Great family home and my dog got to be exposed to a younger kid who knows how to approach new dogs and read body language. We treat every dog like one of our own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. We both work full-time Monday to Friday, so we're best suited for dogs that are comfortable being home alone for up to 8 hours during the workday. Every dog gets a morning walk before we leave, an evening walk when we're home, and lots of love and attention afterward. On weekends we're home most of the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, playtime, and cuddles. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. We'll follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise needs, and any special instructions exactly as requested. We treat every dog like a member of our family and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. We also volunteer with an incredible pet rescue in Edmonton dog sitting for fosters while they wait for their forever home and absolutely love everything about it.
