About: Hi! I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a kid, and getting to care for them now is more than just a job—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. For me, it’s not just about taking your dog for a walk. Every visit includes belly rubs, playtime, and lots of love. I take the time to get to know your dog’s personality so they feel safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away. Whether they’re full of energy or just want a calm companion, I’ll meet them where they’re at and make sure they’re well cared for (and well loved!). I’m currently taking time off work while recovering from shoulder surgery—but don’t worry! I’ve been fully cleared by my doctor for dog walking, playtime, fetch, and (of course) belly rubs. With that being said, my schedule is very open and flexible right now. Whether you need a mid-day walk, an early morning check-in, or some extra love while you’re out of town, I’m here to help however I can! I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, walks, routines, or favorite toys—and I treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I keep you updated with photos, messages, and anything I notice about your pet’s mood or behavior. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or more on the shy side, I adjust my approach to make sure they feel secure and loved. Their happiness and safety are always my top priorities.

“Excellent service working with my anxious dog!”

“Jennifer was great! Sent tons of photos and even left us flowers! She took our 5 months old puppy out and then spent some time with him in our home before leaving. Max was a very happy boy when we came home from work!”

About: I have 5 acres of wooded land that we made a trail in just for our dogs. The last of who has just passed. Would love to see paw prints in the trail again. I am a stay at home mom. With my youngest now in high school. So besides the occasional appointment and nature walk. I am usually home all week. As far as walking. I love walking all the dog friendly trails. Even if it’s to see other dogs. We are a dog friendly home with gates on our deck so that pups can enjoy the outdoors even more.

About: I've always believed life is better with fur on your clothes and after years of caring for my own pets, I turned that passion into something bigger. Now I get to spend my days doing what I love most: caring for your four-legged family members while you're away. I make sure your pet gets the attention, love, and care they deserve. As a lifelong pet parent myself, I get how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family. That's why I treat every cat and dog like one of my own with patience, playfulness, and lots of love. So whether your dog needs a walking buddy or your cat needs someone to chat with while you're out, I'm here to help with a leash in one hand and a lint roller in the other. I am devoting all of my time to dog walking and pet sitting, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pet. I am happy to come to your home to care for your pet for either dog walking or pet sitting. I will care for your pet as if it were my own!

About: I’m a college student currently studying Veterinary Technology, where I’m gaining hands-on experience in animal care in a clinical setting. I’m also a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School, where I majored in Animal Science. Over four years, I studied animal behavior, husbandry, and species-specific care. Through my education and training, I’ve developed strong skills in safe animal handling, proper care routines for various species, and administering medications, including both oral and injectable treatments. I’m passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care—especially for pets with special or medical needs. I’m currently a community college student, taking a mix of online and in-person classes. I also work as a substitute teacher for a local school district, with flexible, self-selected workdays. Because my weekday schedule can vary, pet sitting availability may shift during the week—but I generally have more flexibility on weekends. I'm happy to work pet care into my schedule whenever possible and will do my best to accommodate your needs. I’m experienced in following customized care plans and detailed instructions to ensure each pet receives consistent, individualized care. I’m confident in managing special routines, medications, or other specific needs as directed. Additionally, I follow clear instructions for home entry and take great care to ensure your home remains safe, secure, and respected throughout the pet care services.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 15, when I became responsible for my first dog. At 20, I started offering dog boarding in my home in Brazil, hosting over 10 dogs with love and dedication. Currently, I live in the United States in a small apartment with my husband, where pets are not allowed. For this reason, I provide pet care exclusively at the client’s home. I discovered Rover as a way to reconnect with the joy of being around dogs and cats, whether for a weekend or an entire month. This experience has been amazing! My husband and I care for the pets together, ensuring they receive twice the love, attention, and playtime. We both work 8 to 9 hours a day during the week, but we make it a priority to exercise and spend quality time with the dogs before and after work. On weekends, we have full availability to care for your furry friend. I do not host at home. We follow all the rules of the clients' homes and the animals' routines. We try our best to exercise the dogs by walking or spending time in the yard.

About: I have cared for animals my whole life, starting with others' pets in college. My dog is my best friend, and I also have two birds. I never miss a chance to greet any animal I see-l'd love to care for your pet! Fun fact: I like animals more then people and I think they are a great judge of character. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am on a laptop so I love to get away from it whenever I can. I am open and willing to listen to your needs and offer suggestions based on my experience. Keeping your pet safe and happy is my number 1 priority.

About: I always had dogs growing up, so I learned the responsibility of taking care of them at a young age. I’m excited to help with your pets when needed! I work from home 3 days a week and I have weekends off, so I have a ton of flexibility when it comes to making time to help. I’m a firm believer in doing things the way parents want them done. However you care for your pets is how I will care for them, to the best of my ability!

Halle C.
“Halle was there for my dog when I couldn’t be. My senior boy, Jasper, was nearing the end of his life while I was away for work, and the guilt of not being there nearly broke me. But Halle stepped in—not just as a sitter, but as a stand-in for the love I wish I could have given in those final days. She went out of her way to give Jasper comfort, peace, and dignity. She laid with him on the floor, spoke to him softly, kept him warm and clean, and never rushed a moment. She sent me updates that brought me to tears—photos of him curled up peacefully, stories about his little tail wags when she sang to him. She made sure he was not alone, that he was respected, and most of all, loved. Halle has the kind of heart you can’t teach. She sees aging pets not as burdens, but as beings who deserve softness and honor. She didn’t just take care of Jasper—she gave him the beautiful goodbye I couldn’t. And for that, I’ll always be grateful.”
