“What an amazing treat for our 10 month old Labradoodle. This was the first time we've ever had anyone other than ourselves walk Bento. Tanesha immediately put us at ease and we could see that Bento was immediately drawn to her. It was so nice to come home and see his happy face, knowing that he had enjoyed a great walk when he otherwise would've been alone all day. After such a positive experience, we are hopeful to use her dog walking services again on a routine basis. Huge thank you to Tanesha for such a lovely experience. It's clear that she takes great pride in her work, and we feel very lucky to have found her.”

About: I've had my own pets both cats and dogs since I was in college. I understand what it takes to care for and love on both cats and dogs. I'm comfortable working with both large and small dogs. I have a 50+ pound lab mix and 2 medium sized springer spaniels, in the past we had 2 miniature schnauzers so understand what's needed for big and small pets. I have lots of puppy experience and my 2 springers are geriatric girls needing extra patience and care. I'm happy to take care of rowdy, enthusiastic pets and more laid back furry babies as well. I'm currently going to school on-line to get my master's degree, and have 2 children in school, this gives me plenty of time during the day to care for your family members. I have 2 elderly dogs, 1 zippy younger dog and a cat-- which means I have a plenty of experience caring for animals of all ages. I work hard to make sure your fur babies are comfortable with me and have the patience to work with your pets so they trust me.

About: I've been running my own pet-sitting and dog walking business since college and absolutely adore spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes. Over my years of housesitting, I have stayed with dogs and cats of all ages and have gained a great amount of experience in caring for senior dogs - even those with specific medical needs (pill routines, care for diabetic dogs, dogs with skin conditions, etc.). I am also very familiar with caring for anxious dogs and will always show patience and understanding to meet the needs of pups who lean more towards nervous side. If you are interested in having me as your house sitter, please let me know at least a week in advance so that I can stop by to meet you and your pet and learn their routine. I know changes can be hard for some pets, so I hold great value in adapting to their schedule to ensure that they are comfortable and happy while their humans are away. I do not currently have other commitments outside of pet sitting, so I am available to spend as much time with your critters as they need! I may have to leave on occasion but will always ask your pet's individual time limit so that they are never home alone for too long. As mentioned, I am dedicated to your pet's comfort and will adapt to the daily schedule they have in their own home. This includes feeding and walking schedules, play time, and any other routines they might have.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and fell in love with taking care of them in middle school. Now I consistently take care of senior dogs with medication needs and love the chaos that can come with young puppies! I am always able to give your fur babies my undivided attention. I am a current part time student which gives me plenty of time for your family! Your fur babies always have my undivided attention and their safety is my always number one priority. In addition I have experience crating when needed.

“Very friendly walker. Our puppy joy was immediately at ease with Emma, she was kind and caring for our energetic, goofy girl. Will definitely look for her in the future if we require extra help! Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Cathleen is a great dog walker! She has been very attentive to Ellie and is extremely reliable. Her communication skills are outstanding and we feel fortunate to have found her!”

“Elana started walking our dog, Luna, and she's been absolutely great! From the start, Luna was very comfortable with Elana and has been so excited to see her for their outings. Elana is punctual, reliable, and sends great photos/video's of Luna's adventures. We're so glad to have met Elana and are looking forward to an upcoming house/pet-sit for Luna and cat, Rumi.”

About: I have owned pets for as long as I can remember. Pets bring such joy to a home. I am grateful that I have learned how to take care of animals from a young age. I have adopted dogs, and been adopted by a couple of cats! I have also raised chickens over the past 20 years. My heart has a special place for our senior pets that may need a little extra care and understanding. Currently, I own the fluffiest, most affectionate cat who thinks he is a dog! His best buddy was the dog I was raising to be a guide dog. I have 2 years of dog training with dogs who have gone on to be therapy dogs. Looking forward to meeting you are your pet! Let's schedule a "meet and greet" so see if we are a good fit!. My hours are flexible, so let's see what you need! I am enjoying working from home, now that I have left my busy work commute to Seattle. I am happy to get out to walk, visit furry friends and give them the attention they need. I am available for drop ins and walks. I can administer medications, respect any special needs for your furry ones, and love to walk, run or play with them! Or just keep them company with love and affection.

“My dobie Zara has quickly bonded with Dominikka, who has been prompt and communicative from the start. Knowing Zara is in Dominikka's confident and caring hands, I don't worry at all when my pup is away.”

“Natalie was on time, conscientious, and great with the pups. She put my mind at ease during a particularly stressful time when I could not walk them daily. I would definitely hire her again.”

About: Pets make a house a home and are a member of the family. I’ve had dogs all my life and will consider your pet(s) a member of my family while in my care. Pets in my care are my priority. For sitting in my home or your home, I may charge more than others because I’m prepared to address unexpected care. I try to keep my rates competitive, but it’s challenging to pick one rate for all pets. Please reach out if you’re interested. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on need. I’m currently starting my own business, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I’m on the island full time throughout the week. In your home, I’ll follow your norms and schedule. I’ll ensure your pet is in a safe and clean environment. I’ll adhere to your established rules for furniture privileges, treats, feeding time, post walk cleaning, etc. If I’m staying overnight at your place, I’ll wash my linens and remake the bed (unless you’re returning before noon and then linens may still be in the wash). If I’m watching your pet in my home, I appreciate potty trained and polite pets. Baby pets or incontinent pets will get a smaller area to roam for damage control. Our Coton de Tulear is very friendly and loves to play; she also gets the memo when others aren’t as spritely. If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs, let me know in advance so we can discuss a possible solution.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a young girl. I’m an active person looking to add another high energy dog to my beach walks and backyard romps with my Irish Setter. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages and don’t mind giving baths, distributing medication or work on training. I’m currently a stay at home mom, every morning I take my dog to swim and run on the beach, or play catch in the backyard. My schedule is fairly flexible while my children are in school and of course they also adore animals and love to play and cuddle dogs of all shapes and sizes. My Irish Setter Deja, is submissive but high energy and would love a playmate to help tire her out. I have quiet spaces in my house to rest with two available dog crates or baskets with beds. Outside we have a doggie splash pad and over a half an acre of open, grassy area to run and play. Our yard is equipped with an in ground electric fence and we have an extra collar that other dogs have adjusted to very quickly. We exercise rain or shine and paws are rinsed after being out in the yard and entire body shampooed and rinsed if we take a trip to the beach. I’m prepared to offer overnight and extended stays, our car has a safety dog gate for safe transportation. Please reach out to me if you have any questions and feel free to stop by and take a look at the property!

About: I have pet sat many times in the past. This has been anywhere from a couple hours up to two weeks. I also am very much an animal person and I've have had dogs, and other animals since I was born! I absolutely love all animals. I will play with, walk, feed, and take care of any other pet need. I am unable to take care of pets at my own place currently, but I am very willing to come over and spend some time with some pets. I am free weekends, and I am available in the evenings for dog care. I do work during the day however, but I would love to figure out times that work for you! I always make sure to keep a close eye on the animals and give them lots of cuddles, pets, and walks. I always listen to whatever the owners rules are for the pets.

About: I will often take the extra step with animals to make sure that the anxiety or sadness they may feel is settled when their owner is away. I also have experience with senior animals, and kittens/puppies! I am completely free most of the time! I’m a student at the University of Oregon, because of this I have a flexible schedule in the summer time. I am staying on Island until October when I return to school. I would love to meet some special critters before I leave the rock! I care for pets the way the owners see fit. I will follow instructions, and ensure that the time the critters are with me will not be different from their daily routine.

About: Hi, I love all pets! I provide the utmost care for your pet in my home or yours. I know how difficult it can be to make plans to leave your fur babies as I have one of my own. When I travel, my plans always involve finding a great person/place to leave my dog. I usually can't relax on a trip unless I know for certain my pets are well taken care off, in other words, taken care of, like I would take care of them. My dog is a rescue that I adopted from a shelter and she has very specific needs, like only going potty on a leash because she is blind. Despite the extra stuff I have to do for her, I wouldn't trade her for the world! She is fantastic with other dogs, cats, and birds, as she has been around all and gets on well with all of the above. I am excited that there is now a service like this where I can leave my dog with a trusted person and offer the same in return. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! -Cyndy I work from home so I’m home all day with my own doggo. We love to have other dogs around. My dog is laid back and not overly social with other dogs so it’s nice to have other dogs around. I have a fenced back yard. My dog is also crate trained. Our neighborhood has sidewalks and we take frequent walks, although she prefers to be carried in her dog backpack.

About: I have been a dog owner my whole life. Nothing compares to the joy a fur baby brings into your life. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages. My 8 year old daughter, Z, will be joining me in hopes of building and learning new aspects of dog care (and her goals of adding another pup to our family) I work from home and have the ability to walk and play throughout the day with your pet. I have my own golden retriever who is always up for fun as well! I am comfortable in a variety of environments to care for your dog and will be happy to go on long walks around the neighborhoods.
