About: I’ve been taking care of pets my whole life - my own growing up on the family farm, as well as for family, friends and neighbors. I’m currently working full-time during the week but have a flexible schedule that allows for regular drop in visits. Boarding services available on weekends and weekdays after 3 pm. I have a very friendly, large dog and we enjoy taking multiple walks every day and playing in the yard (not fenced in). I can easily adapt to your pet’s needs and schedule as well.

About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I would love to care for your fur family member! I have grown up around dogs and have been the primary caretaker for our family pets. Not only have I cared for our family dogs (labs & golden retrievers), but I have also dog-sat and walked dogs for other family members and friends since I was 10 years old. I have experience with other animals as well. I am currently taking a summer college course (M-Th mornings) and have late morining though early evening availability. I have some weekend availability as well. I believe compassion, respect, and structure are the keys to keeping your pet safe. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am around different types of dogs regularly. I am very passionate about caring for dogs. I work part-time and attend college. I am available pretty much every day during the summer, my summer is fairly open until mid August when I go back to school. I have one dog at my apartment, but when I am home, there are three more dogs. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for dogs, and I love to entertain them and take them for walks.

About: I have owned a dog since I was 7, along with helped local families by watching their dogs while on vacation. Along with during college, helping a breeder with her pups and personal dogs ranging from 1 day old to 12 years old. I am currently working an internship 3 days a week. I am completely free on my days off with just trips to the gym and local coffee shops. I am willing to spends time playing with dogs and going for walks on my days off due to having an open schedule. I am comfortable coming to other houses to make sure their dogs stay less stressed and feel for comfortable in their surroundings. I take them for walks in the neighborhood on leashes.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently have four of my own back home, including a German Shepherd, two French Mastiffs, an English Bulldog. I also have a Lab puppy with me in Ames. I have years of dog walking and pet sitting experience and am especially comfortable with large breeds and puppies. Having raised multiple puppies at once, I'm experienced with puppy routines, potty breaks, basic training reinforcement, and lots of playtime. As a student-athlete on the Iowa State swim team, I'm responsible, active, and dependable, and I'll be spending the summer in Ames training and available to provide attentive, loving care for your pets. I spend my summers training with the Iowa State swim team, with most practices taking place early in the morning. This allows me to be available for dog walks and drop-in visits during late mornings after 10 AM, afternoons (besides 3:30-5:00 PM Monday and Wednesday), evenings, and much of the weekend. My training schedule is consistent week to week, so I can provide dependable care and communicate my availability well in advance. As an athlete, I enjoy being active and making sure dogs get the exercise, attention, and care they need. Whether your dog prefers a long walk, a quick potty break, or extra playtime, I'm happy to accommodate their needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I follow each owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and any special needs. During walks, I use secure leashes and remain attentive to my surroundings to keep dogs safe and comfortable. Having cared for large breeds, puppies, and multiple dogs at once, I am confident handling a variety of personalities and energy levels. I treat every pet and home with the same respect and care that I would expect for my own.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.

About: I have over 2000 hours caring for shelter cats. I am the guardian of five cats. I'm comfortable around shy cats, kittens, old cats, all cats! I can administer simple medication if needed. I'm extremely patient and will take the time to let your cat get comfortable with me, or back away if your cat is stressed. I would love to play with your cat! I love cuddles! I love chillin' from a distance if that's what your cat needs. I'm a responsible adult and will follow the directions you leave for me. Your trip away from home will be worry-free in my care. I can also provide excellent care for small animals. Growing up I had a summer job caring for rabbits and a rabbit of my own who lived to be 12 years old! I also had a pet guinea pig named Oreo. I have flexible job hours and can work around your schedule. I have a car and am not afraid to drive in inclement weather conditions. With my own cats, I feed them twice per day and give them hours of cuddle time. My experience at animal shelters has given me a lot of experience approaching cats with different personality types.

About: I have taken care of animals, in and outside of vet clinics, since I was 14 years old. I’ve cared for a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, chickens, and sheep. I’ve had many housesitting experiences outside of Rover and I’ve handled many responsibilities like monitoring and administering medications. My main goal is to keep the owner’s pets stress free and allow owners to leave their pets knowing they are being cared for. I am an Iowa state student. I have many days where I’m free or breaks in my schedule to allow me to check on animals or take them on walks. In the clients home I follow whatever works best for the owner and their pet. If that means crating when being left alone that is what I do. If that means taking them on walks at a certain time or not allowing them in certain rooms or on furniture I make sure to always follow the rules set by the owner.

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. I began playing a role in walking, and feeding/filling water for my dogs since I was 12. I have also watched my friend’s dogs before by stopping in a few times a day to feed them and give them love! I’m currently working a part-time job, most of the time I work night shifts. I am available in the mornings and afternoons Mon-Thurs for pet care and am able to be flexible on Fri-Sun. At home we use an electric fence for our animals but for others I accompany them outside on a leash. My two puppies who are 1 years old enjoy company but are very energetic and can be kenneled if needed. My cat does not do well with other cats without meeting/getting used to them over a period of time.

About: I have been taking care of dogs of all sizes and cats for 5 years now. I have worked with dogs that have many triggers and also have experience with puppies. I am currently a student at Iowa State. I don’t have too many classes so my schedule is pretty open! I will have plenty of time to play with and hangout with your pups! I am not able to watch pets outside of your home as I live in an apartment that does not allow pets but if you need me to stay with your pets, I will respect all of your rules for your pets and your house.
