About: I have owned a dog since I was 7, along with helped local families by watching their dogs while on vacation. Along with during college, helping a breeder with her pups and personal dogs ranging from 1 day old to 12 years old. I am currently working an internship 3 days a week. I am completely free on my days off with just trips to the gym and local coffee shops. I am willing to spends time playing with dogs and going for walks on my days off due to having an open schedule. I am comfortable coming to other houses to make sure their dogs stay less stressed and feel for comfortable in their surroundings. I take them for walks in the neighborhood on leashes.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors dogs since I was 12. I love big dogs and small. I’m very active and love walking and running around with my pets. I’m a college student home for the summer taking remote summer classes so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available a majority of the week. I am surrounded by a large open grass yard and plenty of space in my home for inside or outdoor play. I also have a dog bed that I wash between every visit.

About: Hi! My name is Allison, and I would love to care for your fur family member! I have grown up around dogs and have been the primary caretaker for our family pets. Not only have I cared for our family dogs (labs & golden retrievers), but I have also dog-sat and walked dogs for other family members and friends since I was 10 years old. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am around different types of dogs regularly. I am very passionate about caring for dogs. I work part-time and attend college. I am available pretty much every day during the summer, my summer is fairly open until mid August when I go back to school. I have one dog at my apartment, but when I am home, there are three more dogs. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for dogs, and I love to entertain them and take them for walks.

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. I began playing a role in walking, and feeding/filling water for my dogs since I was 12. I have also watched my friend’s dogs before by stopping in a few times a day to feed them and give them love! I’m currently working a part-time job, most of the time I work night shifts. I am available in the mornings and afternoons Mon-Thurs for pet care and am able to be flexible on Fri-Sun. At home we use an electric fence for our animals but for others I accompany them outside on a leash. My two puppies who are 1 years old enjoy company but are very energetic and can be kenneled if needed. My cat does not do well with other cats without meeting/getting used to them over a period of time.

About: I know how energetic dogs are, and I am as well so we’re a perfect match! I can keep them entertained while they are also making my day so much brighter! I am a full time student with a part time job. My availability differs each week but don’t be afraid to ask! I love to go on long walks and I can entertain any dog for hours. I have 2 dogs at home, but here at college I do not have any pets. My apartment does allow pets so it would be no problem to have them over:) I also have the option of a fenced in yard if your little pup prefers to run around freely.

About: I'm an experienced animal caregiver of many species. I have owned dogs for about 10 years and have lots of experience administering medications and providing specialized treatments. I have worked previously with mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, etc and currently own chickens and dogs. I'm comfortable providing a nail trimming service and bathing if requested. I love meeting new furry (or scaled or feathered) friends and hope to hear from you soon! I work full time in Ames but would be happy to care for your pets around my work schedule. About: For as long as I can remember, my family has always had at least one dog in the house. From Siberian Huskies to Boston Terriers, as my little babies have grown up, I have had both the pleasure and responsibility of potty training, exercising, cuddling, and even divided up medication as needed. Other than just having pets of my own, I have also worked at a local veterinary hospital for about a year now, and have truthfully learned a lot about veterinary medicine, and how I can professionally help these wonderful animals. It is this passion that has presently lead me to pursue a degree in Animal Science, and work towards training dogs professionally after college! Currently, I am working at an equine facility from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the morning, and from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the evening. With that, I also work on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM to 7:10 PM. The weekdays in which I work are not set in stone; feel free to reach out with any questions! As not to make my own dogs uncomfortable, I do not offer any boarding services at this time. Once a client has given me the necessary details regarding their pet, I will do my very best to respect and follow what they’d like me to do. I am comfortable giving oral, or otherwise general/external, medications. When on walks, I take into account each pet’s needs, and will under no circumstances put them under any unnecessary stress.

About: Hello! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life even though I’ve never had any of my own. This includes looking after and taking care of family members’ pups while growing up. Other than family, I’ve watched the same dog on multiple occasions, including two separate 3-week stays where I was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, and keeping him company. One of those stays was in my own space, so I’m comfortable managing a dog’s needs independently and keeping up with their routine. I don’t currently have pets of my own, but I’m very attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and in-home sitting, and I’ll send updates and cute photos of your pup so you feel at ease while you’re away. I work from 12–8 M-F, so I’m available in the mornings and later in the evening for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I can also do overnight house sitting depending on the situation. On weekends I have more flexibility and can spend more time with pets or do multiple visits throughout the day. I’m pretty consistent with my schedule, so it’s easy for me to plan around a pet’s routine and make sure they’re taken care of. I know every dog is a little different, so I try to stick as close as possible to whatever routine they’re used to. Whether that’s specific feeding times, walk schedules, or just how they like to hang out, I’ll follow what you leave for me. I’m pretty mindful in general, so I’m always making sure doors are locked, they’re not getting into anything they shouldn’t, and they’re safe and comfortable the whole time. I’ll keep you updated while you’re gone so you don’t have to worry, and I’ll treat your home and your pet with respect. My goal is for you to come back to a happy pet and everything exactly how you left it.

About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!

About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I grew up taking care of mostly dogs, but I have experience with other animals like cats, goats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love meeting new animals and helping care for them. I am currently a student at Iowa state but am available all day Tuesdays and Thursdays and weekends. I’m available in the afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I cannot provide boarding because of the pets I have at home, but I can visit pets or stay overnight with them at their homes. I’ve stayed in ankeny overnight a few times but prefer to stay in Ames due to my classes being in the morning.

About: I have over 2000 hours caring for shelter cats. I am the guardian of five cats. I'm comfortable around shy cats, kittens, old cats, all cats! I can administer simple medication if needed. I'm extremely patient and will take the time to let your cat get comfortable with me, or back away if your cat is stressed. I would love to play with your cat! I love cuddles! I love chillin' from a distance if that's what your cat needs. I'm a responsible adult and will follow the directions you leave for me. Your trip away from home will be worry-free in my care. I can also provide excellent care for small animals. Growing up I had a summer job caring for rabbits and a rabbit of my own who lived to be 12 years old! I also had a pet guinea pig named Oreo. I have flexible job hours and can work around your schedule. I have a car and am not afraid to drive in inclement weather conditions. With my own cats, I feed them twice per day and give them hours of cuddle time. My experience at animal shelters has given me a lot of experience approaching cats with different personality types.
