About: Hi! I’m Luana, a 23-year-old veterinary technician with professional experience in veterinary medicine, doggy daycare, and boarding. I’ve also been dog sitting for family and friends since 2018. I am passionate about animal welfare and treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I would give my own. Monday to Friday: after 6:30 pm (drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting) Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: Very flexible (drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting) I currently offer care in my clients’ homes, as my cat prefers to be the only pet in the household. I believe pets are often most comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they can maintain their normal routines and experience less stress. During visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, medication administration if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. As a veterinary technician, I am experienced in recognizing signs of illness or discomfort and always prioritize the safety, health, and well-being of the pets in my care. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 6. During college I got a dog of my own. After I was done with undergrad, I babysat many of my old teammates dogs and had great feedback. I have all the necessary skills and tools to care for any dog. I could also schedule a play date with my own dog if wanted! I am going to start my job in Boone and a family medicine PA-C in December and looking for work til then! While I wait for my new job to begin in December, I have a very flexible schedule and am available anytime to care for your pets! Prefer a fenced in yard if you have multiple dogs but I have no problem walking them. I have no other preferences at this time.

About: Animals hold a special place in my soul that I can't describe. Each pet brings me joy to take care of. I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. I started college as an Art Education major, but quickly changed to Animal Science. My goal is to work as an animal caretaker at the Omaha Zoo. I'm taking 12 credits at Iowa State, so I am busy but my schedule is flexible. I am pretty available to stop in between classes and in the mornings/evenings. Weekends are often free, but sometimes I go visit my family nearby. I have an apartment so I can't take pets to my place. I am available for check-ins and walks obviously. Throughout high school and these past two years, I've been trusted to care for pets in neighbors and strangers homes, and at a dog boarding and daycare facility in Des Moines.

About: My friends, family and neighbors have come to me when they need someone to look after their pets. I’ve pet sit for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish and reptiles. During the week, I have veterinary school with breaks between classes. I was a vet assistant for 5 years so I gained plenty of experience with a variety of animals. Animal care is one of my passions so walking and sitting in my free time is something I enjoy! I’m am a veterinary student during the week so I’m looking to help walk dogs or pet sit on the weekends and days I get off. I have breaks between classes that I can utilize as well I live in an apartment with lots of trails and parks nearby. I hope to get them outside and walking especially during nice days. I’m more than happy to go to the pet to stay/check on them when you’re away

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. I currently am a full time student at Iowa State University although I have free time throughout the day. My time is very flexible, and very free on the weekends. I check in with my pet regularly. Even though I pet sit part-time, caring for animals is a big part of my life. I plan my week around the pets I care for, ensuring I have plenty of time to give them the love and attention they need. I respect their routine and the household's privacy when caring for pets in their home. I maintain their feeding, medication, and exercise schedules exactly as instructed, giving pets the same love and attention I would give my own. About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have owned a dog since I was 7. Over the years, I’ve also helped local families care for their dogs while they were traveling, and during college I had the opportunity to help a breeder care for puppies as well as their adult dogs. These experiences gave me the opportunity to work with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, and I’m currently a second-year veterinary student. Between my personal experience with pets and my veterinary training, I’m comfortable providing attentive, responsible care and following individual instructions for each pet. I’m currently in veterinary school, so my schedule is busiest during the weekdays, but I have more flexibility on weekends for house sitting and longer stays. I’m also available for drop-in visits and walks during the week when my class schedule allows. I’m very intentional about keeping my Rover calendar updated so families know when I’m available. I enjoy spending my free time outside, walking, and being around animals, so pet care fits naturally into my routine! I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible while their owner is away. I’m happy to follow specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else your pet needs. My experience working in a veterinary clinic has also taught me to pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall well-being. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and their family’s home and make sure everything is secure before I leave.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for just over 10 years. I’ve done house sitting, drop ins, and boarding for neighbors and friends. I have helped to train puppies, and taken care of senior dogs. I’ve also been in charge of bathing dogs, cats, and even horses! Currently I am working part-time, I am free early in the morning as well as after 3:00pm. I can house sit or board on the weekends! I have a big yard to play in! I also have a rambunctious 2 year old puppy who loves making new friends. I can easily crate your dog if needed. They will get lots of play and rest time. (Along with snuggles!)

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am around different types of dogs regularly. I am very passionate about caring for dogs. I work part-time and attend college. I am available pretty much every day during the summer, my summer is fairly open until mid August when I go back to school. My dog gets along with most dogs, it seems he prefers dogs his size and smaller. I am experienced in walking 2-3 dogs at once. I have learned how to deal with dog fights and aggressive/reactive dogs through training. I have plenty of time for walks and Drop in visits. About: I am an experienced caregiver with strong attention to safety, and I grew up caring for my neighbors’ and friends’ dogs. I love walking calm, more relaxed dogs, but I also enjoy caring for energetic, enthusiastic dogs as well. I started walking neighbors’ dogs at a younger age and have always enjoyed being able to provide safe, fun walks while building trust and strong bonds with every dog. My dream dog is a Miniature Dachshund, and I plan to get one once I'm out of school and have the time to care for one full-time. In the meantime, I'd love to use my extra free time to care for your dog and treat them like they're my own! I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to care for your pets. I love going on daily walks and would enjoy having your dog as my companion, and I’m even open to short runs for high-energy dogs that need to get some extra energy out! I’m available for walks and drop-ins most weekdays and can also be available on weekends. During walks and drop-ins, I make sure your dog gets bathroom breaks, exercise, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I focus on keeping your pet comfortable by following their normal routine and respecting your home. I’m also comfortable safely crating dogs when needed. I do especially well with clear instructions and take the time to understand your dog’s specific needs, behaviors, and preferences to provide the safest, most personalized care possible.

I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry (or feathery, scaly, or hoofed!) family members behind. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I have 9 years of experience working in critical care in ER and ICU settings, most recently at the UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the #1 vet school in the country. I’m Fear Free Certified, CPR certified, and comfortable caring for pets of all ages with special needs or medical conditions. I also offer nail trimming drop- ins! Beyond my professional life, I’ve shared my home with all kinds of animals, including chickens, dogs, cats, tortoises, and even farm animals, so I understand how much each pet’s unique personality matters. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication, or just someone patient and gentle, I can help! Their happiness and safety will always be my top priority! I am currently a full time student with classes from 7 am- 5pm weekdays. I prefer check-ins and quality time vs overnight stays at the moment as I have a small older dog of my own. But am open to it for the right client. In the past, clients have allowed me to bring my pup along for overnight stays so please let me know if that is an option. Nonetheless, let me know your pet’s needs and I’ll try my best to help! Of course, caring for every pet is unique. I will work with you and your pet's usual schedule to ensure their needs and yours are being met to perfection! My time as an ER tech taught me the importance of being prepared and cautious, thus I do require parents to fill out my own version of an intake form, which basically outlines your pet's medical history, preferred veterinary ER, medical insurance information, emergency care cost approval, and at least 2 emergency contacts if I am unable to reach you. All of which is to ensure that I am best equip with the tools to get your pet the help they need as soon as possibly if an emergency should arise.
