About: I know how energetic dogs are, and I am as well so we’re a perfect match! I can keep them entertained while they are also making my day so much brighter! I am a full time student with a part time job. My availability differs each week but don’t be afraid to ask! I love to go on long walks and I can entertain any dog for hours. I have 2 dogs at home, but here at college I do not have any pets. My apartment does allow pets so it would be no problem to have them over:) I also have the option of a fenced in yard if your little pup prefers to run around freely.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I am accustomed to the good, bad, and everything in between when it comes to owning a pet. Some of my dogs in the past have had medical issues of varying sorts, so I am no stranger to strict/detailed feeding. I am also used to walking dogs daily regardless of rain, snow, or sunshine. I'm currently a graduate student so my schedule is a bit random. I am most available in the early mornings or evenings. I'm always in need of a study break though and would be as flexible as possible. My living situation doesn't allow for me to keep your pet with me. About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. I began playing a role in walking, and feeding/filling water for my dogs since I was 12. I have also watched my friend’s dogs before by stopping in a few times a day to feed them and give them love! I’m currently working a part-time job, most of the time I work night shifts. I am available in the mornings and afternoons Mon-Thurs for pet care and am able to be flexible on Fri-Sun. At home we use an electric fence for our animals but for others I accompany them outside on a leash. My two puppies who are 1 years old enjoy company but are very energetic and can be kenneled if needed. My cat does not do well with other cats without meeting/getting used to them over a period of time.

About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I grew up taking care of mostly dogs, but I have experience with other animals like cats, goats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love meeting new animals and helping care for them. I am currently a student at Iowa state but am available all day Tuesdays and Thursdays and weekends. I’m available in the afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I cannot provide boarding because of the pets I have at home, but I can visit pets or stay overnight with them at their homes. I’ve stayed in ankeny overnight a few times but prefer to stay in Ames due to my classes being in the morning.

About: Hello! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life even though I’ve never had any of my own. This includes looking after and taking care of family members’ pups while growing up. Other than family, I’ve watched the same dog on multiple occasions, including two separate 3-week stays where I was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, and keeping him company. One of those stays was in my own space, so I’m comfortable managing a dog’s needs independently and keeping up with their routine. I don’t currently have pets of my own, but I’m very attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and in-home sitting, and I’ll send updates and cute photos of your pup so you feel at ease while you’re away. I work from 12–8 M-F, so I’m available in the mornings and later in the evening for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I can also do overnight house sitting depending on the situation. On weekends I have more flexibility and can spend more time with pets or do multiple visits throughout the day. I’m pretty consistent with my schedule, so it’s easy for me to plan around a pet’s routine and make sure they’re taken care of. I know every dog is a little different, so I try to stick as close as possible to whatever routine they’re used to. Whether that’s specific feeding times, walk schedules, or just how they like to hang out, I’ll follow what you leave for me. I’m pretty mindful in general, so I’m always making sure doors are locked, they’re not getting into anything they shouldn’t, and they’re safe and comfortable the whole time. I’ll keep you updated while you’re gone so you don’t have to worry, and I’ll treat your home and your pet with respect. About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the combination of genuine love for animals and the space I can provide for them to truly thrive. Anyone that knows me knows my absolute love for dogs of all types. Living on several acres gives dogs plenty of room to safely run, play, and explore, which keeps them happy and active during their stay. About: I have had a lot of experience with dogs over the years and am just getting started with pet sitting. My priority is providing a safe and caring home for your pup while they are in my care. I currently have a yellow lab mix who loves other dogs. I have some experience with high energy dogs, nervous dogs, giving medicines, and helping finicky dogs eat. I work full time, but have a flexible job that will allow me to let your dog out as needed. Our routine includes three walks a day so I will make sure your pup is exercised. About: I have been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2024. I work in the small animal emergency/critical care department. I am RECOVER certified and Fear Free certified. I have been an animal my whole life and am now devoted to taking care and improving their lives. I do have a full time job but I start late in the day. If you need me to walk your dog or check in at your home I can do early mornings to early afternoon. My schedule also changes month to month from week days to weekends so depending on the month I can have more availability during my days off. I always make sure to see the comfort levels of animals before interaction. I bad interaction can break your pets trust. My FEAR FREE training has allowed me to work with patients comfort levels and how to appropriately handle scared animals. My CPR RECOVER training certifies me to be able to perform CPR on your pet effectively.

About: I have been taking care of dogs of all sizes and cats for 5 years now. I have worked with dogs that have many triggers and also have experience with puppies. I am currently a student at Iowa State. I don’t have too many classes so my schedule is pretty open! I will have plenty of time to play with and hangout with your pups! I am not able to watch pets outside of your home as I live in an apartment that does not allow pets but if you need me to stay with your pets, I will respect all of your rules for your pets and your house.

About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside.
