About: I helped take care of my family’s two senior cats. I assisted in giving them medications, cleaning their ears, and grooming their matted fur. I have cat and dog sat for friends and family (both young and old animals). I ensure they have plenty of food and water, clean litter boxes, go on walks, and spend time with them playing/cuddling. I am back from college for the summer and have plenty of free time on my hands! I am free to dog or cat sit until the end of August. I plan to be attentive to your animals and enthusiastic to spend time with them. I have no specific requirements but would love to chat more after booking the appointment.

About: I have nine years of pet care experience. I raised and showed Rex rabbits for 4 years. Personally I have trained and care for my own dogs. After High School I work in an Animal Hospital. My duties there included receiving the animals for appointments, prepping and assisting in surgeries, keeping accurate records, cleaning and sanitation of the facilities. I am available to care for pets full time as I am looking to make a career out of caring for pets as I pursue a position as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician. About: I’ve taken care of many friends’ pets in the past and take care of my own 2 year old cat. I’ve also house sat multiple times and feel comfortable with pitties as well. My weekly routine is fairly open right now. I am currently unemployed and have a very flexible arrangement. I will work most weekends as well. About: I have spent years taken care of animals in both a professional setting and with my own pups at home. I have worked as a kennel assistant and as a veterinary assistant for many years, providing care for animals of all ages and sizes during their times of need. Back home in New York I have two dogs, 10 and 3, who I love spending time with and miss dearly when I am away. My professional animal experience has allowed me to read animals cues, and get to know each pets unique personality. So weather your per loves playing and long walks, or hanging out on the couch, I will make sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. If your animals need any extra care or time warming up, I am experienced in working with anxious pets, administering medications, or caring for multiple pets at the same time. I am currently a veterinary student at Iowa State University, where my schedule is fairly predictable from week to week. I am typically at school from 9-3, and am available for drop ins over my lunch hour (12-1). I am a early bird so I can walk or drop in on pets before class in the mornings, and with all the studying I do I am available for late nights as well. My weekends are open aside from studying, and during these weekends I love spending time outside. Your pets comfort is my top priority, and I think maintaining a routine is the best thing for pets when their owners are away. When caring for pets in your home, I will work my schedule around their exercise needs, feeding schedule, medication schedules, etc. When caring for your pets, I will take as much time as needed to learns your pets personality, so I can best integrate myself into their routine in the times you are away. As a future veterinarian, I will also consistently be looking for signs of illness, and focus on creating a low stress environment for your pet. I am also always looking for cute photos, so you will receive updates and pictures from me so you can enjoy your time away from home knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving lots of love from me.

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: Animals hold a special place in my soul that I can't describe. Each pet brings me joy to take care of. I've had a few pets over the years; right now a 7 year old Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu named Snoopy. I've also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for the past two years. I started college as an Art Education major, but quickly changed to Animal Science. My goal is to work as an animal caretaker at the Omaha Zoo. I'm taking 12 credits at Iowa State, so I am busy but my schedule is flexible. I am pretty available to stop in between classes and in the mornings/evenings. Weekends are often free, but sometimes I go visit my family nearby. I have an apartment so I can't take pets to my place. I am available for check-ins and walks obviously. Throughout high school and these past two years, I've been trusted to care for pets in neighbors and strangers homes, and at a dog boarding and daycare facility in Des Moines.

About: For several years, I’ve cared for friends dog while they are away and needing someone to provide care, either extended in home stays or just popping in. I had a dog when I was growing up, and I loved being able to take her on walks and little adventures, now I just have cats. I enjoy walking dogs and taking them to the park for some enrichment and exercise! Providing some time during the day to keep your pet company is something I love to do. As a pet owner, when I'm away for longer than normal, it always makes me feel better knowing my pets have someone to check in on them, so I love to do that for others when I can! I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I am available for daytime care during the work day, as well as last minute care needs! I am happy to take dogs on walks, or to the dog park, and provide engaging play and attention. For cats, I'm happy to follow their cues, hanging out nearby, providing opportunities to play, and come get some affection if they want. I pay close attention to animals and their needs, responding quickly to any cues they are giving me about what they may want or need. If a dog seems stressed, we will head back home and get back to a comfortable space. With cats, I always let them set the pace and get comfortable.

About: Since I was young I have been around dogs. We used to breed yellow labs when I was younger and my family always had a dog that needed taking care of. After work I have a very open evening. I like to stay busy and active. During the weekends I am always outside and playing with my dog My dog Theo is very telling in what he wants.
