“Izabelle was great with our dogs. We had her stay with our two younger dogs who need to be watched while out otherwise they destroy things and came home to nothing destroyed and the dogs seemed very happy. Will definitely use her again!”

“Allyson has taken care of our fur kids a number of times! We are more than pleased with how well she takes care of them! Very responsible, asks questions, sends pictures and updates. We highly recommend Allyson!!”

“Hailey is awesome and so great with our pups. She is great at quick communication and provided us flexibility during the first snowfall of the year. We rest easy knowing Hailey is taking care of our furbabies!”
“Teagan was great! Extremely communicative, quick to respond, and sent lots of updates and photos. Felt very comfortable leaving my dogs in her care while I was on vacation! Will definitely use her again and recommend highly.”

“Kylee was excellent! She was willing to spot over before the scheduled sitting to meet the pets and learn their routines. She sent us pictures and updates on our pets, which ensured us of their wellbeing. I can't recommened Kylee enough!”

“We are beyond grateful for Olivia! She took such amazing care of our cat, Mochi, and truly went above and beyond. Her communication was wonderful, she sent frequent photo updates that made us smile every time, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and relaxed Mochi looked with her. When a snowstorm hit, Olivia even stayed overnight to make sure he was safe and could be fed! We felt completely at ease on our trip knowing Mochi was in such loving, capable hands. Olivia is the best, and we cannot recommend her enough, 10/10! We will absolutely be booking with her again :)”

“Jessica did a fantastic job with our dogs! Smokey and Bandit were both well cared for while we were away. She was also flexible when we had a change of plans due to weather! 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“Kristianna took excellent care of our 2 large dogs! She left our home tidy and provided updates throughout her stay. Would recommend to others and hope to have her back in the future!”

About: I have been a dog walker at the ARL for 3 years. I have also taken care of many teachers, friends, and neighbors pets. As well as taken care of my school pets! I have had 2 dogs, 4 cats, 5 guinea pigs, and many other pets! I work at a veterinary clinic and have kennel shifts a few times throughout the week in the morning and evening. I am also a college student so I have classes. Aside from that I am available and fully willing to work around whatever I need ! I am a deep lover of animals. I have loved animals all my life, and I decided to pursue this love by doing all kinds of volunteer work. I have worked at the ARL as a volunteer for 3 years. I am going into college for animal ecology, and eventually going into vet school to study proper care for animals. I do whatever I can to make my dogs, cats, and other pets at my house feel as loved as possible as well as safe. I hope to make your pet feel the same way.
“Got to our place on time and was great with our dog. He took her out multiple times and updated us with photos during the day. We would highly recommend anyone who needs a sitter to get in touch with J.”

“Erin was great! Kept the house nice and clean. Took the pups on some adventures and kept us updated about them. The pups even whined a couple minutes after she left looking for her. 10/10 would recommend again.”

About: By working at a professional dog boarding facility, I have the training and knowledge to care for 3lb pups to 120lb full-grown adults. This includes bathing, nail trimming, safe administration of medication, walking, de-escalation, and mild training. When it comes to cats, I have lived with them my entire life, from all claws to no claws, and kittens to mothers, I have a lifetime of experience caring for calm to feisty felines. I am currently enrolled in a class through DMACC and I work part time at a job. I am home mornings, evenings, and mid-day. I also have a roommate who is just as experienced as I am to help with around-the-clock care! I do live in an apartment so I am only willing to board cats, but I am happy to travel to you to take care of your companions in a familiar environment.
“Treva is one of the best dog/house sitters we’ve had and we have used multiple Rover sitters in the past. We have an elderly dog with mobility issues that I was concerned about and she kept me posted and sent multiple pictures frequently which I requested. She spent the most time with our dogs than any other sitters we’ve had. She also went above and beyond with our house. The only downside is one of my dogs won’t even look at me she’s so mad I’m not Treva 🤣! Highly, highly recommend. We will definitely be using her again! Thank you from Kim, Bart, Ebony, Yoda and especially Bree ❤️!”
About: I have had multiple dogs since I was 6 and taken care of all of them, neighbors' and families' animals actively for the last 4ish years! I would love to add a basic groom for an extra $10 added to any service you have scheduled. I have my own dog that I trained since he was a puppy, and he is now almost two. I also take care of a family's dog on a daily basis. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I have a huge yard with long leashes. I also love to take our dog to the dog park. If you also have a pass, I would love that. My dog is mild to high energy and loves other dogs!
About: I grew up on a farm, so taking care of animals was a part of my daily routine. I have had pets my whole life, including: cats, dogs, and bunnies! My friends and family have trusted me to take care their pets when they’re away from home. I help my great aunt and uncle with their collie puppies every year too! I currently work seasonally at a co-op outside of Ames, so after harvest (around halloween), my availability is pretty flexible! Starting January I will be a full time student at Iowa State, but I will keep my availability updated! I currently live in an apartment, so I won’t be able to house any pets. I will be able to keep your pets company when you’re away or even check on them throughout the day.
“We had a fantastic experience with Devin! He was incredibly communicative, sending us daily updates and adorable pictures of our dog, Lucy, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the photos and messages that Lucy was not only well cared for but also receiving lots of love and attention. Devin made sure she felt safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the week. We couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver and would absolutely book with him again!”

About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs! My own 2 dogs come from very different places. Belle (2 yo, mixed breed) is a medium-sized rescue dog from the island of St. Croix and Atari (3 yo, Cavachon mixed breed) was born on a farm and has been spoiled since birth! :) I also volunteer with Ruff Start USVI, the rescue service that rescued my dog Belle! I spend time with the rescue puppies, taking care of them, playing with them, etc. My family also often foster dogs from Ruff Start, Belle was a foster dog before we decided to adopt her! I have an uneven/asymmetrical college class schedule so my availability varies day to day! Here is my general availability for fall semester (subject to change): Monday - All Day Tuesday - 9AM-12PM & past 4:15PM Wednesday - past 9:45AM Thursday - 9AM-12PM & past 2:15PM Friday - All Day Weekends - Generally all day I am completely flexible to whatever your dog may need! I can perfectly heed to any schedule and follow along with any weird little quirk! I love sending pictures and will send plenty of updates or only a few, whatever you prefer!
“As first time Rover clients, we couldn't be happier with the service and Jenna in particular! She was kind and compassionate and helped our old boy feel safe and comfortable.”
