About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner since 2009, and my dogs have always been cherished family members. Our home includes two friendly dogs who get along very well with others, plus two kids who love being part of the “pack.” We have a little pug friend that stays with us sometimes too, but he is also super social! We have a secure 6-foot privacy fence for safe playtime, and I can work from home when hosting dogs that need extra attention or frequent potty breaks. We love taking care of fur babies, and we love families who go to such great lengths to make sure their fur babies are cared for! Life here is relaxed. Our dogs run and play in the yard, nap on the couch, and soak up attention all day. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly with clear sidewalks and access to a path around the lake if your dog would like to go on walks! I work in Ames and can work from home if pups need more company during the workday. My kids love to help with feeding, walks, and snuggles. I am even available during ISU football games to swing by, feed, or let your dog out. In our home, pets are treated like family. Visiting dogs can play safely in our fenced yard, relax on the furniture, and enjoy plenty of supervised attention. I make sure water is always available, follow any feeding or medication instructions, and keep a close eye on interactions with my own dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable. My kids also pitch in with gentle play, walks, and extra snuggles, so your pup will feel right at home. About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside. In clients’ homes, I do my best to maintain pets’ normal routines to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, updates/photos, and lots of companionship throughout the visit. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while I’m there.
About: I am an avid animal lover who worked as a vet tech for five years. My spouse and teenage girls are also animal lovers! We LOVE to have animal visitors! We have small dogs of our own who enjoy making new pet friends. I am a full-time nurse with very flexible hours and my spouse is home all summer! About: I love all types of pets. I’m very affectionate, attentive to details, responsible, high energy. Pets make me feel less anxious and I love them in my lap I am available any after before 8 am and after 4 pm for a walk or feed the pets. All day during the weekends to watch them. Any day during the week for overnight care I take them everyday once a day and let them go outside to pee and poo because I have a danced yard. I feed my dog twice a day, and give a bath every 2 weeks. I these her every other day. Control fleas and worm every month, and take her for nail trim every 3 weeks.

About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

I work individually with you to come up with a visit plan that is tailored to your pet's needs and prioritize communications with you going forward to ensure your expectations are getting met. I relay any immediate concerns that I have during a visit by calling you or directly messaging you. Otherwise, you can expect a summary of the visit, with images, at the end of my visit with your pet(s).
About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I grew up taking care of mostly dogs, but I have experience with other animals like cats, goats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love meeting new animals and helping care for them. I am finishing my degree at Iowa state and will graduate in August. I am not sure what I want to do after I graduate, so I’m filling my schedule with pet sitting. I have a very open schedule for a while until I figure out what’s next for me. I can visit pets or stay throughout the day with pets at their homes, but I am not available to stay overnight. I treat animals as my own and truly love getting to meet and work with animals. I make sure to ask questions before giving treats or doing anything that pet owners might differ on. I make sure to stick to whatever schedule pets are used to and follow specific instructions regarding their needs. I provide daily updates and pictures so you know what’s going on and how pets are doing.

About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner since 2009, and my dogs have always been cherished family members. Our home includes two friendly dogs who get along very well with others, plus two kids who love being part of the “pack.” We have a little pug friend that stays with us sometimes too, but he is also super social! We have a secure 6-foot privacy fence for safe playtime, and I can work from home when hosting dogs that need extra attention or frequent potty breaks. We love taking care of fur babies, and we love families who go to such great lengths to make sure their fur babies are cared for! Life here is relaxed. Our dogs run and play in the yard, nap on the couch, and soak up attention all day. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly with clear sidewalks and access to a path around the lake if your dog would like to go on walks! I work in Ames and can work from home if pups need more company during the workday. My kids love to help with feeding, walks, and snuggles. I am even available during ISU football games to swing by, feed, or let your dog out. In our home, pets are treated like family. Visiting dogs can play safely in our fenced yard, relax on the furniture, and enjoy plenty of supervised attention. I make sure water is always available, follow any feeding or medication instructions, and keep a close eye on interactions with my own dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable. My kids also pitch in with gentle play, walks, and extra snuggles, so your pup will feel right at home. About: In addition to having dogs and cats as my childhood pets, I also worked with the Puppy Jake Foundation training service dogs for wounded veterans for two years, and spent a summer interning at Kawa Farms K-9 Training. I have always adored all pets, but dogs and cats have a special place in my heart! I’m spending the summer in Ames and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for last-minute bookings, frequent walks, overnight care, and lots of attention/playtime. I’m working part-time remotely over the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I typically work about 4–5 hours on weekdays, leaving me with lots of availability for drop-in visits, walks, boarding, daycare, and overnight sitting. Because I spend most of my time at home, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend care, and I’m happy to accommodate pets’ normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their individual routine and needs. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medication instructions, and any specific preferences owners share with me. In my home, pets would have plenty of attention, supervision, and space to relax indoors. I do have an unfenced yard, so all outdoor time would be supervised and pets would always be kept safely on a leash when outside. In clients’ homes, I do my best to maintain pets’ normal routines to help them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, updates/photos, and lots of companionship throughout the visit. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure while I’m there.
About: I am an avid animal lover who worked as a vet tech for five years. My spouse and teenage girls are also animal lovers! We LOVE to have animal visitors! We have small dogs of our own who enjoy making new pet friends. I am a full-time nurse with very flexible hours and my spouse is home all summer! My teenagers are also available to help with our guests. We have a fenced in yard, and love to take our dogs for walks. Our dogs are very friendly with other cats and dogs. We have a special needs dog, so we are very comfortable with giving medications and other special needs.
