About: I have owned a dog since I was 7, along with helped local families by watching their dogs while on vacation. Along with during college, helping a breeder with her pups and personal dogs ranging from 1 day old to 12 years old. I am currently working an internship 3 days a week. I am completely free on my days off with just trips to the gym and local coffee shops. I am willing to spends time playing with dogs and going for walks on my days off due to having an open schedule. I am comfortable coming to other houses to make sure their dogs stay less stressed and feel for comfortable in their surroundings. I take them for walks in the neighborhood on leashes.

About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
