About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. I have experience with all ages of dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I am one of the first people my friends call when they need someone to check on their fur baby! I work from home and am off at 4pm every weekday and take an hour lunch from 11am-12pm so anytime I am not working, I can care for your pet. I will offer care to pets outside of my home as to not upset the daily routine of my cats. I am flexible depending on the client's needs. I always create a safe and loving space for the fur babies that I care for whether it be for a walk, a quick visit, or for house sitting.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have owned a dog since I was 7. Over the years, I’ve also helped local families care for their dogs while they were traveling, and during college I had the opportunity to help a breeder care for puppies as well as their adult dogs. These experiences gave me the opportunity to work with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, and I’m currently a second-year veterinary student. Between my personal experience with pets and my veterinary training, I’m comfortable providing attentive, responsible care and following individual instructions for each pet. I’m currently in veterinary school, so my schedule is busiest during the weekdays, but I have more flexibility on weekends for house sitting and longer stays. I’m also available for drop-in visits and walks during the week when my class schedule allows. I’m very intentional about keeping my Rover calendar updated so families know when I’m available. I enjoy spending my free time outside, walking, and being around animals, so pet care fits naturally into my routine! I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible while their owner is away. I’m happy to follow specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else your pet needs. My experience working in a veterinary clinic has also taught me to pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall well-being. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and their family’s home and make sure everything is secure before I leave.

About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and my brothers do for about 4 years. I also work at a doggy day care and am around all sorts of dogs and understand body language. I work mostly on the weekends. I am most available to spend the most time with your pet during the week. I have school but no more than 4 hours a day. I provide attentive and reliable pet care either in my home or in the client’s home, depending on their preference. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by giving them plenty of attention and maintaining a clean environment. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and ensure the pet experiences minimal disruption to their normal routine. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner.

About: I live in ogden iowa but can travel to the des moines area to pick up pets! This is what I do for a living, so I will always be home with your pets! I live on an acreage with a large fenced in back yard. I was born and raised a farm girl! Have 25+ years of experience with all types of animals including livestock, dogs, cats and small animals!!! Animal lover to all big and little! Im an energetic person who will give your pet all the loving and play time they need!! I do not take pets who are not house broke or unnutured male dogs. I'm a full-time college student getting my degree online in psychology. I'm home all the time and love to cuddle with fur babies. I'm a home body so don't travel or go places very often. I have a fenced in yard. I give dogs lots of walks and play time. I also have a very large finished basement that is wide open for playing in when the weather is bad.

About: I’m certified in Fear Free Animal Handling, providing safe and comfortable care for pets! I also work as an intern in a Veterinary clinic and currently am studying for Vet School. I’ve also worked with feral to domesticated pets, large and small, so I’ve got experience in almost pet! I’m hoping to have some extra cash on the side from school and work, and can make most situations work, I just need a sizeable notice. My most free days are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and sometimes weekends! For now I cannot board any pets, however, I’m more than happy to do feeding for many pets, help with medication administration, litter cleaning, and overall provide a few hours of attention and play time either in home or outside, though this depends on my current workload, however again, with enough notice I can make it work!

About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I have over 2000 hours caring for shelter cats. I am the guardian of five cats. I'm comfortable around shy cats, kittens, old cats, all cats! I can administer simple medication if needed. Your trip away from home will be worry-free in my care. I can also provide excellent care for small animals. Growing up I had a summer job caring for rabbits and a rabbit of my own who lived to be 12 years old! I also had a pet guinea pig named Oreo. I know how hard it is to find sitters for "exotic" pets. I grew up with family members with dogs (Rocky, Max, Snick, and Ginger) and have shelter experience with dogs as well. I want to meet your doggo! Let's get some exercise! I have flexible job hours and can work around your schedule. I have a car and am not afraid to drive in inclement weather conditions. About: I currently don't have any pets of my own. In February 2025, my family and I sadly said goodbye to our beloved dog, Buddy, after 17 wonderful years together. I miss him deeply-our walks, cuddles, and the unconditional companionship he brought to my life every day. While Buddy will always hold a special place in my heart, Rover provides a meaningful opportunity for both pet owners and me. I can help families by providing dependable, loving care for their dogs, while also continuing to spend time with the animals I've loved my entire life. Caring for dogs fills a void left by losing Buddy and allows me to do something that brings me genuine joy. I've been caring for dogs since I was six years old. About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from local rescues. I recently earned a bachelors degree in animal science and currently attend veterinary school at ISU. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! Pet care is built into my schedule and comes as second nature to me now after being immersed in it for so long. On average, a minimum of 3-5 hours of my day are dedicated to my animals. I enjoy taking my dog on multiple walks a day, of varying lengths, to ensure he has enough mental stimulation and exercise to meet his needs. Training is also a constant in my household, whether that be scheduled training sessions, or simply consistent work throughout daily tasks. I find it important to build a bond with my animals as well as those I meet, and training helps strengthen that bond. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) and training exercises are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied and stimulated. I take pride in keeping my environment and my animals’ clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food and water bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was about 12 years old! I have pet sitted dogs, and cats! Each pet deserves as much attention and comfortablity when their owners/parents are away. I am very organized, dilegent, and cautious when it comes to pet sitting. I strive to give a great experience for both the pet and the parent so do not hesitate to reach out!
