“Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him. I'd booked the incorrect dates and Katrina was flexible, making arrangements to extend our reservation. Katrina provided us (and our boys) an exceptional experience. “My cat, Avocado, got so much love at Angela's house! I really appreciate that Angela has a good system for keeping cats separate from the small dogs if that's what you want for your cat. Avocado stayed in a lovely furnished basement (with windows) during the day and spent the night up in the bedrooms with the family, so she had her own safe space while still getting plenty of human interaction. It was so fun to get pictures of Avocado cuddling with them and making herself at home. I boarded her there for almost two weeks and she was in good health and great spirits when I picked her up. I immediately rebooked to board her at Angela's again during my next trip!”

About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, I can’t imagine life without animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. About: Hey there! As the daughter of a veterinarian, growing up around animals was a given so I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and health statuses (if your pet needs any specific care). I also have two cats of my own! I look forward to meeting your pets! I currently work a full time day job, so my availability at the moment is mostly evening/weekend, but certain circumstances may allow for additional availability depending. I’ll be sure to help your pets just as safe with me as they feel with you and try to maintain their normal routine to the best of my ability.
About: I have over 2000 hours caring for shelter cats. I am the guardian of five cats. I'm comfortable around shy cats, kittens, old cats, all cats! I can administer simple medication if needed. I'm extremely patient and will take the time to let your cat get comfortable with me, or back away if your cat is stressed. I would love to play with your cat! I love cuddles! I love chillin' from a distance if that's what your cat needs. I'm a responsible adult and will follow the directions you leave for me. Your trip away from home will be worry-free in my care. I can also provide excellent care for small animals. Growing up I had a summer job caring for rabbits and a rabbit of my own who lived to be 12 years old! I also had a pet guinea pig named Oreo. About: From keeping care of my family pets in the absence of my parents at a young age to spending late nights as a sitter for neighbors’ dogs, I have taken careful care of dogs in all shapes and sizes since I was twelve. About: I’ve dog sat for multiple dogs in the past and love getting to bring them to the different places around the area especially the dog park, hiking trails, and stores that allow pets inside! I also would love to treat your pup to pup cups from Starbucks, Scooters, and Dunkin Dounts! I have dog sat for families overnight before and am comfortable with staying at the home. I also have cats of my own and would love to care for your cat as well! I currently work Tuesdays through Fridays with a very flexible schedule in between! My weekends are usually pretty my open and I can work with your pets schedules during my work day as I am able to move my lunch around. I am able to stay overnight with your pets any night of the week, take them on any length of walk, and spend time with them outdoors either in your backyard or at the dog park. I also love to cuddle up with your furry friends and give them the TLC they desire! I also am able to give medications, provide treats, brushing, baths and feeding. About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can maintain a set schedule and provide your dog with love and care while you are away. Your pet would be in a kennel very minimal and have lots of attention. Would just be in a kennel if I need to run errands. I have a large fenced in backyard that your pet will love to run free in. The fence was replaced summer of 2021 after the derecho. I work a hybrid schedule 3 days in an office 2 days at home. My boyfriend is home every Friday, he does not work Fridays. I have a large privacy fenced in yard for your dog to play in. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.
About: I have had a passion and love for animals since I was young. I enjoy spending time and playing with animals. I have had experience with animals my whole life. I love taking my dog on walks and playing with him when I am home from school. I have taken care and watched many of my friends and neighbors pets. I also have experience with caring for elderly and sick dogs. Currently a sophomore at Iowa State University, but I keep my calendar updated and am always available during my breaks. “Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him.
